Are you kidding me

Horrible, horrible service. In 63 years of flying, no airline has treated me more poorly than Swiss. Not even the blue colored Irish one.

Insisted my flight was confirmed despite Montego Bay getting flattened by hurricane Melissa. The airport was locked shut. The Jamaican minister of transport announced they would re-open the airport for disaster relief on my flight date but would wait for a later date to re-open restart commercial flights.

Sent me an email after I already flew to the departure airport and booked into an airport hotel there. Flight was departing in 11 hours.

Next day, I flew home and they marked my booking as a no-show. Under EU law, all flight segments on a single NPR must be refunded. They know better but tried to get away with not refunding one segment because I didn't show up - why would I? Nasty.

Kicked and screamed about refunding the ticket. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Expedia who spoke with them while I stayed on the line.

Don't do business with these scum.

A lot of work to fix minor issues. Seller never responded and nobody seemed to care.

ETSY charges VAT on items sold into the EU. The seller did not provide the info on the customs declaration and I had to pay VAT a second time. When I raised a case, they called this "duty" and stated this is my responsibility and promptly closed the case. It was not duty. I had to pay 24% VAT a second time. ETSY support people should be trained better.

edited: after all day of emails back and forth to their support people (you really need to drill down to find the link), they have refunded my VAT. If they handled the case I raised correctly, I would have saved so much time and aggravation. I have added 1 star as it's over. This company is not ebay. ebay handles cases professionally.

They say parts are so good "even your grandson won’t need to worry about them again"

- Ordered a set of jack cover caps for my R170 Mercedes on December 2
- Received the wrong parts over a month later
- Customer service guy Kamil was quick to answer phone calls and emails. Wrong parts returned at my expense
- Later received the correct parts but while mounting one on my car, it broke (3D printing material they use is far more ridgid than the flexible material the original is made of). The tab that broke off is paper thin
- Contacted Kamil (this was early February), he was quick to reply and promised to re-engineer the part so it was actually fit for purpose
- Returned 3 of the 4 parts (at my expense) as I expected a quick resolution and would return the one that was on my car once it was all resolved
- contacted Kamil for a status on the parts in late April. He was quick to respond. Copied straight from the email: "My friend is still working on something with fixes/corrections, testing various solutions and technologies to make it better, it's hard for me to say how much longer it will take him"
- I contacted him again to stress the fact I have wasted a whole lot of time and my patience was not unlimited. I asked how long Kamil thought it was reasonable for me to wait
- I received no reply and he was no longer answering his phone

If are willing to purchase a car part and wait several months to receive one that is fit for purpose, Octoclassic is for you. Otherwise, give them a pass!

Original R170 jack covers from eBay are roughly the same price per part (and you don't need to buy a full set of four) but as they state on their website "even your grandson won’t need to worry about them again". So it all sounded good to me. It wasn't.

Note: Octoclassic is still selling this part despite acknowledging the defect in design. I would guess the same part for other Mercedes models suffer from the same defect. All the Mercedes I own would have the same flaw unless Octoclassic has enhanced the design as they had promised me they would do R170.

Complete waste of time. Package was late and took days to track.

My express delivery to Greece from DHL Poland was sent using this service (??). Was supposed to be 6 business days. When it became overdue, I contacted DHL Greece. I was told the package was Deutsche Post and I must contact Germany. Deutsche Post forwarded me to their international dept. and I was on hold over an hour. The Afghani who answered could not really speak German and had no English speaker they could transfer to. I was told the package was now with DHL express and they couldn't give me a tracking number. Several calls to Poland and Greece got me nowhere until I ended up in the automated Greek system that comes up when everybody is busy. The automated system gave out a Greek number for DHL E-commerce who were quite helpful and gave me DHL Express Tracking number. When I called to DHL Express to ask them why I spent all day to get the Greek DHL E-Commerce telephone number, they only argued with me and said "sorry we are not that company". Lately, every transaction that involved a German company has ended up this way. An utter and complete waste of my time.

Order from Temu who chose this useless courier

1) I made an order from Temu, it was split into 2 parts. I was on the phone when the 1st half came and they took it back to their office 65km away

2) Nobody answered the phone at their office to make arrangements to redeliver

3) Second half was brought on Friday, they never put the first half on the truck and the driver told me I needed to drive 65 km to pick it up

4) I drove to the office, arrived at 10:00, I was third in line. Both parcel in front of me involved searching package after package in the back rooms. First package was found after 15 minutes. 2nd package was not found and they told the customer they would look more and call them back

5) My turn, I complained about the fact they only make a single deivery attempt. They told me that's what Temu has requested of them (highly unlikely) and they don't get any complaints

6) After 15 minutes of going through all the packages agai, she came back with my package. I asked them why they don't answer the phone and was told "of course, the phone's broken" (comments on google state they were told the phone was broken months back). When I showed her that google was full of complaints, they told me "that's Athens fault". Of course, the complaints were about the very same office I was standing in.

I left the office at 10:50 a.m. 50 minutes to find 2 packages and abondon search for a 3rd. Pathetic.

I'm very lucky I went early because there were about a dozen people in the line after me by the time I left. I pity those people and doubt many waited long enough to get their packages.

Complaints on google pretty much mirror the complaints here. What a horrible company to receive a package from.

Temu has given me 25 euros, they should take that money from this dreadful company.

I just don't understand how this company is in business.

These are very good qualiy toys with…

These are very good qualiy toys with great lessons taught. However, there are a few issues with the ordering:

1) You are only allowed to purchase a kit based on the age. If the chld is exceptional, you need to play around with the birthdate to buy a specific kit your child is ready for.
2) The subscription thing can be a bit annoying. I was billed for the next kit 4 days after ordering the previous one.
3) Kit mentioned in 2 had a failed payment. However, the vague e-mails I received did not suggest payment was for a kit I was not aware was scheduled to be sent to me. When I re-entered my card, I got charged without knowing what I was getting charged for.
4) Billing issues, order cancellations etc. are only done via e-mail. I'm not sure how long it takes to answer but it's been 48 hours so far.

Again, great toy / learning kits. Funny business practices and little options for customer care.

Biggest plus in the whole story is the kits are very high quality. You can package the kit back in the box for the next child and you won't have to worry about the difficulty with dealing with the company twice.

"no risk 90 day money back guarantee". Yeah sure.

Bought a Chinese made A/C compressor for my Mercedes from them. It leaked badly. Not because it was broken or something. The design was bad and impossible to create a sealed system.

Sent the unit back. They made every single excuse you could imagine

- I hadn't given them a chance to fix the problem, so no warranty (I did they answered no questions about making the product actually work).
- I didn't include the original mechanic's invoice - (I did, right on top of the compressor)
- They inspected the thing and claimed there was no proof of the defect occuring before the installation (simply, the replacement part was of a bad design - didn't work before, didn't work after, despite trying many things to prevent having to pay to uninstall and then install a different one)
- The invoice didn't show what they needed to see - no warranty (my Italian speaking mechanic hardly understands what I ask him in english, however, I made sure he did the job right - flushing, replacing the drying unit, etc.)

In short, they kept the part (probably re-sold it) and kept the money also!

Edited October 25, 2018: ATP tried hard to remove this review about a year ago. Fortunately, after trustpilot looked at the evidence, this review remained. Don't be fooled by the feeble bluff of an offer to resolve the issue more than two years after the fact. Do yourself a favour and listen to my and all others' experience in buying cheap, poorly made non-functional parts and purchase your car parts from a reputable source. Otherwise, we told you so. My mistake cost me 179 euros for the compressor plus nearly 300 euros extra for my mechanic's huge efforts to try to make the thing work and then remove it and replace it with a unit from Mercedes.
