Very unethical property management…

Very unethical property management company. They are threatening our family (with two young children) with legal action to enforce payment for charges for which they never issued any invoices. When we contacted them to request copies of the invoices, they insisted that the only way to access them is through their platform, which costs over £300 per year. Despite repeated requests, they have refused to provide even a simple PDF invoice. Instead, they continue to threaten legal proceedings and demand exorbitant legal fees.

In their response below, they will likely claim that letters were sent by post. If so, we would welcome them providing any evidence of this. We have never received any such letters. If they were sent, there should be some form of proof of delivery or receipt.

Alternatively, the matter could easily have been resolved by sending a simple email with the invoices attached, or even a brief message outlining the amount due and payment timeline. No such communication was ever received. The only emails we received from them were requests to sign up to their paid platform in order to access our documents.

This situation is particularly frustrating as we have maintained a clean payment record with previous property management companies for the past seven years. The issue only arose after this company took over management of the building last year.

Imposing the use of Amazon courier services is not okay.

But not surprising from a company owned by a man who is pro Brexit and openly supports the Conservative Party

As with the vast majority of online retailers, we have to carefully consider which third-party delivery service to use to send our orders. In the past, we used EVRi (formerly Hermes) for many years, but switched a little while ago to Amazon Shipping. Overall, they offer an excellent service with far fewer missing parcels.

We're sorry that you don't like our using them. If you ever have a bad delivery experience, please know that our Customer Service Team are here to help each and every day, through live chat, telephone or email. We're here to support you and resolve any issues.

In the meantime, we have taken the step of moving any future orders you make to Royal Mail for delivery, which we hope provides some peace of mind.

Thieves stealing money from non profit

I used donorbox to fundraise for a non profit running a school for refugee kids. We managed to raise £23k, on which donor box and Stripe (their banking partner) paid themselves a whopping a 6% fee.
Absolute disgrace - they essentially charge triple market price and refused to apply a lower pricing for non-profit.
This money was urgently needed by the school who is at risk of closing its doors, leaving hundreds of kids in the streets.
Just IMMORAL.

Fraudsters!

Fraudsters!
I am still waiting my EPC certificate after 4 weeks!
I called customer service today (for the 10th time) and they're telling me that the surveyor who came to my apartment forgot to do the job (even though I paid for it!).

Stay away

Beware! All products shipped from China. Delivery takes forever. My order never arrived. There is literally NO CUSTOMER SERVICE which means no one to talk to and no way to get my money back.
Never again.

Seller was a dubious company and my product never arrived. OnBuy is not helping to get my money back. Had to open a claim on PayPal. Very disappointed.

It is fair to say that 2022 was an extremely difficult year for markets, where we saw geopolitical tensions, high inflation and hawkish monetary policy hit most asset classes hard. By way of example, the S&P500 fell -19.4% in 2022, and the average global bond fell -16%. Our active management and long-term strategy for the investments, however, have managed to mitigate against too much of the overall downturn seen in the market. Indeed, in such an environment, we consider risk management paramount above the chasing of returns which could leave our investors in an even worse position.

With all that being said, this is very much a natural part of the economic cycle. To that end we have seen some recovery in the markets in 2023, with all our portfolios showing positive returns despite some concerns over the banking sector. We are very sorry for your comments, in order to verify your case and validate if it is our mistake you must enter a return request, remember to choose the correct reason for return since if it has been our mistake the return costs will be at our expense, always when the product is effectively damaged, defective or incorrect. In case of a voluntary return shipping costs are borne by the customer.

Commande 301871022_01 passée le 8 juillet 2017.

Livraison avec deux semaines de retard et un meuble endommagé (une armoire en deux parties).

J’attends toujours la deuxième partie de mon armoire. Cela fait presque 3 mois. J’appelle le SAV mais les opérateurs sont incapables de m’aider. Ils m’ont dit plusieurs fois qu’ils feraient le nécessaire, sans résultat.

Quand je rappelle le SAV, il me font attendre 30 minutes au téléphone (alors qu’ils avaient initialement indiqué un temps d’attente d’une minute !) pour finalement me dire que le transporteur mène une enquête pour déterminer ou se situe le colis. Trois semaines plus tard, toujours aucune nouvelle.

Je suis contraint d’entamer une procédure en justice.

Quel manque de professionnalisme !

Je vous déconseille fortement d'effectuer une commande chez Alinea. C’est tout simplement du vol.
