Disabled access is shocking.
Found it difficult to navigate to the car park - Google Maps, Waze and my cars in built (up to date nav software) all took us to the end of a road opposite the carpark which was a dead end.
I couldn't book specific disabled parking, and when at the car park was unable to find any disabled spaces over several floors (admittedly did not go right to the top floors but there was no signage to indicate position of disabled spaces).
On returning to the car park after Atkinsons had closed, around 7pm, there was no signage for the pedestrian entrance to the lifts. We had to go right round the block and eventually found an entrance, however it had steps down to the lifts. As a wheelchair user I was horrified. Fortunately a couple of people were there at the same time and they carried me down the stairs to the lift entrance, and then fetched my chair. I found this exceptionally demeaning and shouldn't have had to put up with it.
I couldn't see any signs pointing me to a different disabled entrance, and the alternative of trying to push up the vehicle entry ramp is far too dangerous and unacceptable.
Honestly, I've never experienced anything like this before.
