We’re sorry to see this review and would like to clarify the situation for anyone reading.

The shelving brackets you ordered were clearly listed as a pre-order item on our website. The product page displays a “Pre-Order Now” button rather than the “Buy It Now” button used for items that are currently in stock. The pre-order status is then shown again during checkout and is also confirmed in the order confirmation email sent after purchase. This means the order was identified as a pre-order at three separate stages of the purchasing process.

We operate this system across our website and have not previously had any confusion from customers regarding pre-order items.

After your order was placed, a number of emails were sent to a member of our team in an aggressive tone. We also contacted you by phone this morning in an attempt to explain the situation and resolve the matter, however the call ended before we were able to assist further.

As a small family-run business, reviews have a real impact on us, so it is important that the facts around the order are clear. In this case, the product’s pre-order status was communicated multiple times during the purchase process.
