Excellent support

Excellent support on the phone this morning from Ashleigh.
I couldn't make the amendments I wanted online so had to call, spoke to Ashleigh and she was very helpful, gave me options and explained the process I needed to know for our dogs to come with us. Sorted everything out efficiently and without any fuss.

Impossible to get in contact with this company

I have been a BG Homecare customer for over fifteen years, for most of that time the service was OK, nothing exceptional but today I've had enough.
Trying to contact them by:
Telephone: nobody answers. I've been waiting over 20mins for my call to be picked up, no answer. I tried earlier, got a call back but the call ended abruptly.
Homecare app: It just does not work, it was the same the last time I tried to use it.
Website: There is very little I can do here, the booking system didn't work today
Webchat: Almost as bad as the telephone, eventually they pick up but it takes ages.

I've cancelled my agreement because of the lack of service and they charged me £30 to do that.

So basically if they are not good enough you have to pay to exit.

Very easy process and quick delivery

Very easy and quick to create an order and the proofing process was equally fast and straight forward.
Stickers arrives exactly as promised and it was possible to track the shipment throughout the journey.

Pleasant experience, well trained staff

I had a really pleasant experience dealing with Howard at ActiveQuote. I can be hard to get hold of sometimes but Howard was very patient with me.
Everything was explained clearly and made the whole process very easy. All documents in the quote process were clear and sent quickly, set up was easy too with more clear explanations.
I would recommend this way to purchase private medical insurance.

Fast service, polite and knowledgeable engineer

I’ve used Dyno a few times over the years, always a pleasant experience.
Today (a Sunday) I booked an engineer through the app in the afternoon and I got a confirmation immediately, the engineer turned up a few hours later.
A very polite man, knew exactly what to do within five minutes and set it work straight away.
After the job he he explained everything in a way I could understand and gave me some tips to help avoid problems in the future.
I can’t recommend Dyno highly enough.

Easy set up of new account

A little difficult to get in contact at first but once I got through it was easy to set up an account for our new house.
No hard sell on additional products, the lady I spoke to was very helpful and efficient.

Unprofessional and no customer service - avoid.

I have rented from Sixt and had small problems in the past but nothing like Sixt in Orlando (located at the Sheraton hotel).
Hired an SUV but nothing of that type available and offered a minivan but it was too small.
Told the SUV would be there in an hour as it was at the airport (a fifteen minute drive away). Asked to come back in an hour which we did (a family of four)
An hour later still no car, told repeatedly it was on the way. Eventually given a smaller SUV (that was there all along) and told the whole rental would be refunded due to the inconvenience and a supervisor would contact me. Nobody called me so on the return I decided I would sort it out. The office was not open though it should have been so I had to drop the keys in the box and leave.
Never heard anything from Sixt and I was charged the full amount.
Contacted them via their website, explained what happened but I've still never received a response.
Contacted them via Twitter, offered £25 voucher by Sixt UK, declined it. Offered a £40 voucher, decline it. Then they passed me to Sixt USA, didn't respond so I contacted them directly, wasn't easy to get an answer had to really push them. They offered me a $50 voucher and to pay me back any toll charges (probably $10 worth). Declined as I had been promised a full refund. Never heard from them again.
Lesson learned, if they offer you something for the inconvenience get it in writing at the time, or (if they turn up to work on time) get it sorted when you return the car. They didn't respond via their website and you have to be very persistent if trying by Twitter. In the end they just ignored me. Just for giggles I'm not letting it go though, I'm going to keep messaging them through Twitter - a voucher is useless to me at Hertz/Avis/Europcar etc.

Disgraceful 'customer service'.

I wish I had read some of the reviews on here before speaking to HP. I cancelled the product (an £800 laptop) before it was picked & dispatched because it was taking too long. Went and bought one from John Lewis -
the irony being I'm typing this on a HP laptop!
Here's a timeline of what has happened to me and it's still going on;
Mon 16th October Order placed, Lloyds blocked payment in case of fraud. Resolved the payment problem same day.
Tue 17th Order confirmed by HP
Wed 18th Returned home to find order had not been dispatched and delivery could not be made next day or guaranteed until the following week, I needed a laptop so I could work. Order cancelled & I told HP it would be refused as I had to purchase a laptop from John Lewis.
Thu 19th Order picked and dispatched
Fri 20th Delivery attempted, and refused
Mon 23rd £811.20 debited from bank account, not noticed until Fri 10th Nov. I can't help feeling if I hadn't noticed, HP would never have given me my money back.
Fri 10th November, spoke to Eduardo who agreed a refund was due and appeared to fix the problem. Email received same day to confirm that and stated payment would be refunded within the next eight days.
Claim created on: 2017-11-10 11:38:45.0 date & time confirmed by HP (or Sell Bytel who appear to act on their behalf for telesales or at least post sales)

Mon 20th (ten days later) nothing refunded. Called and spoke to Eduardo who said it should have been paid by that time and that he would fix the problem and confirm back to me.
Tue 21st No response from Eduardo. Called HP again, spoke to Sarah (poor attitude, kept speaking over me) informed Eduardo was off sick. Sarah said she would look into it and call me back
Wed 22nd No response from Sarah. Called HP again, spoke to Alex. Confirmed he would look into it and email me by the end of the day
Thu 23rd No response from Alex. Called HP again, spoke to Jim. Told it would be escalated to a manager and Jim would confirm this back to me. Two emails received from Jim; 11h55 to say that he had been ‘advised by the finance team that the refund would be released tomorrow’ but couldn’t give any reason why it had not been resolved and he would track it.
Fri 24th Email received from Jim at 08h01 to say ‘I can now see your refund is showing as processing, and should be released very shortly’. At least Jim took the time to follow up unlike everyone else I contacted.
Fri 24th Email received from generic HP email at 12h12 to say refund would be credited in the next eight days!
Claim created on: 2017-11-10 11:38:45.0 The email stated that the refund was requested on: 2017-11-24 00:00:00.0 This information is complete nonsense & incorrect. It was requested on Nov 10th and their email proves that!

Fri 24th called HP again to ask what was going on, spoke to Finian who seemed to have no access to the post sales system. Advised I send an email to the ‘do not reply’ address I had received the last communication from. I asked for a proper email address and Finian forwarded this at 12h28.
Fri 24th 12h52 sent an email to HPStorePostSalesUK at sellbytel.es outlining what had happened and asking for my money back. Another eight days meant I had lost two weeks.
Fri 24th 14h30 no response so I emailed again.
Fri 24th 17h00 (approx.) No response so I called and spoke to Finian again who refused to escalate my call to someone more senior and tried to persuade me to end the call. I insisted to be put through to someone explaining I was not putting the phone down. Held for about five minutes then Tech Help answered the call, there is nothing they can do to help me so I had no option but to end the call.
So here I am still waiting for my money a month after they took it without my permission and nobody in their organisation prepared to help me or take any form of ownership. Stay away from these guys, another review on here advises to buy one from a reputable high street retailer and I agree with that.
