Very good access on Uk ans France side. But only criticism, us sgould have a waiting area for cars etc, when comming off the Shuttle on the French side, to allowing planning and resetting SatNav... もっず芋る

Profiteering

On Sunday 22nd March I booked a surprise shuttle for my husband’s 60th birthday @ 11.03 am and within minutes of booking it, I changed the date to align with friends @ 11.12am and paid the extra money. It became clear I had booked the wrong time and went to change it but accidentally clicked to cancel as my husband came in the room, this was at 11.21am. On realising the error I contacted them immediately to ask them to undo my mistake and was told to contact customer services who have replied to say no, they won’t reinstate this. This is disgraceful and profiteering and clearly a genuine error. A company that take your money for 14 minutes and think that somehow this is acceptable to not reinstate the ticket is disgraceful. I will continue to escalate this as this terrible customer service.

Quick and simple boarding

Quick and simple boarding, even with a pet, separate check in for pets, got offered and took an earlier booking, (2hrs), which was handy. Very quiet this time of the year, no queues. Staff friendly and helpful.

Excellent support

Excellent support on the phone this morning from Ashleigh.
I couldn't make the amendments I wanted online so had to call, spoke to Ashleigh and she was very helpful, gave me options and explained the process I needed to know for our dogs to come with us. Sorted everything out efficiently and without any fuss.

Not the same anymore

It's not anymore what we used to have. 1h delay due to major accidents and tjey charged 235 euros on a off peak quite day. We loved the flexibility and small charges if we were too late. Now its another greedy company looks where they can steal people money. Never again. Will use Ferry for ever.

Great for our dog to travel as it’s


Great for our dog to travel as it’s fast, seamless to road networks and you can look after your pet in your vehicle or dog facilities on site. We have had some software issues - so 4 stars - and French queues caused by needless bureaucratic games. But prefer the overall experience to ferries.

A very easy to use service

A very easy to use service. We arrived early and were able to move to an earlier journey at no extra cost, very smooth check in process, straight forward to proceed through the security and control points, and a fast way to visit Europe.

Always use Flexiplus

No worry's with Flexiplus. Nice lounge. Sandwiches etc are great for our long drive through France.

Main disappointment is that the train was very dirty on the outside and windows mucky!
Needed a good wash regularly
Would be good if there was a dedicated Flexiplus lane through customs as you have to join the main queue!

An e'mail advert offered a 20% discount


An e'mail advert offered a 20% discount on any reservations before 26th March 2026.
There was no facility to add the discount code in the payment page so no discount applied which amounted to £40.
On contacting customers services no solution was offered.
Awaiting a suitable response after making a formal complaint by e'mail otherwise ASA (Advertising Standards Agency) will be made aware of misreprentation in an email advert.
This is the 2nd occurrence in 6 months.

Excellent experience

It was my 1st time travelling on Le Shuttle and I did so as a solo traveller with a dog. I found the information available in advance to be excellent and everything I needed. When I arrived, I found the port to be spacious, clean and well signed. The biggest asset of all are the staff who were professional, helpful and kind and went beyond what I would have expected.
In particular I would say the man who checked us in at the Pet Centre was lovely. The man cleaning the toilets personally showed me to the drinking water fountain to refill my bottle. I was randomly selected for a security check and even the man who did this was polite, professional and kind.

What a bunch of pirates

What a bunch of pirates. Booked a crossing, arrived in time, got pass for crossing, rushed past shops / toilets, straight through customs / passport
 AND GOT BUMPED BY 1hour!

I could have driven to Dover, had a nice relaxing breakfast, and arrived in France earlier, paying less money, and avoided sitting in a car park / tin box with p#ss ridden toilets!!
