Got my smart wheels box fitted a month…

Got my smart wheels box fitted a month ago and it’s a complete disaster. Constantly telling me I’m speeding/braking too hard or accelerating to fast when I’m not , penalises you if u make more than 6 journeys a day ( no matter how short/long they are ). Some journeys load onto the app quickly others take hours. It’s so inaccurate and a complete waste! I’d rather I had payed the extra money now for a better company with more accurate box.

Thank you for your review and feedback.

Let me reassure you that if you genuinely believe there is a problem we will absolutely investigate this thoroughly.

We also want to reiterate how we monitor usage:

• Excessive usage –7 or more journeys within a 24 hours period would likely to have an impact upon the usage score. It is unlikely that this would cause a negative score but every journey after the 6th would be marked down until the 24 hour period ends.
• Long journeys – We would always recommend taking a break from driving if your journey is likely to last more than 1 hour. Driving for over 1 hour is likely to record a negative score.
• Night time driving – The final area that can impact the score if driving between the hours of 11pm – 5am, this is likely to cause a negative score.

As you can see we do not penalise any customers who make 6 journeys, in fact we never penalise a driver we only provide them with feedback which we believe helps keep them safer on the roads.

Regarding the App we rely on great satellite coverage to help us transmit the data from the box to our servers who then convert the score and send this back to the dashboard or App, with this there may be a slight delay in the scores from time to time this is quite normal.
