I can never get through to the Newport Austin Friars contact lens department. Staff tell me they are too busy and someone will call back, and then no one calls back. I’ve wasted hours of my time trying to get through.

Have now cancelled my subscription and changed opticians.

My order took nearly two weeks to be despatched.

No contact from the company. No reply to emails. I was about to raise a chargeback with my bank and then it finally showed up.

Paid for next day delivery on twelve bottles of spirits.

Ten days ago. No sign of it. No replies to emails. No number to call.

Completely ignored me.

After years of doing business with Buzz I will not be doing any more. I spent thousands on an ice machine and the invoice stated 24 hour delivery.

After a week I decided I had been reasonable enough and rang up to be told I was here promised 24 hour delivery despite having it written down and I was being unreasonable.

The operator repeatedly spoke over me and patronised me and accused me of shouting when I wasn’t. Until I did lose my temper at the frustration of the fact this company had my money, I don’t have an ice machine for the weekend for my business and no one at the company will take ownership.

As shown below my invoice states 24 hour shipping. I was more than reasonable ordering a Monday with a Friday deadline.

Do not use this company. They could not care less about you and your business.


EDIT. I rather stupidly decided to give this company another chance. I bought some degreaser tablets and paid for 48 hour delivery. A week later I chased them up. It took a further two days for a reply and I was told that apparently 48 hour shipping, which costs significantly; means 48 hours from dispatch, not 48 hours from order.

Which is absolute nonsense, and not how literally every other retailer works.

Adam Schofield was helpful, polite and efficient. My issue was resolved quickly.

Spent four weeks trying to negotiate a deal. Had to chase every single step of the way. Gave up in the end and went with someone else.

Don’t waste your time trying to sort a contract. They don’t care.

DO NOT USE THESE JOKERS

Ordered twice on the same day. Neither item arrived. Customer services at this company completely useless.

Made up nonsense about Parcelforce not sending tracking.

When I told them I wanted a refund they told me they would charge 25% restocking fee.

Absolute joke and I will be going to court to challenge this.

Amanuel Abdul was knowledgeable and helpful and polite. I was very happy with the call.

After a number of successful transactions I’m really saddened by my last purchase.

I was confirmed delivery by December 9th and I still don’t have the product. It’s now useless to us. The date we were supposed to deliver to our customers has passed.

I tried to work with the company to chase the courier but they just keep sending emails fobbing me off telling me it’s not their problem. They are refusing a refund and stating we have wait for them to deal with the courier when this is not true.

I’m honestly incredibly disappointed by their complete unwillingness to take any ownership of this issues which has cost me £3000 in lost income.

I will never use this company again and I recommend others avoid too. They are great when things are easy but could not care less when they go wrong.

They have also now emailed me threatening me with legal action if I do not remove this factual review. I will not be removing it.

Terrible. Picture hasn’t arrived and customer service could not care less.

Brilliant service from the first call to the job completion. Couldn’t ask for more

Arrived fast, looked great. Just not very comfortable at all.

Awful. Product didn’t turn up. Customer service couldn’t care any less if they’d tried and kept hanging up on me.

Lewis Varey was polite and efficient and very knowledgeable.

A great service I’m happy to recommend to anyone.

The masks we received are completely useless. Too big for most people with no adjustment method and the print too small and taken from a proof I had rejected.

Their only recompense was to offer 15% off future orders which is worthless as I certainly will not be ordering anything from these people again.
