Ordered some alarms

Ordered some alarms, but they never got dispatched. I had to call 2 times for them to tell me the alarms are not in stock and need to wait more than a month for them to receive and dispatch. Making excuses with the producer, but at the same time the same products are available everywhere else online. Called after a month of waiting and cancelled my order as there was no ideawhat the delivery time will be anymore. Now waiting for a refund for 2 weeks already and had to open a chargeback dispute cause I don't think I will see money back. Do not buy from this Mickey Mouse company.

So far my experience with InvestEngine is positive. There are a few things that can be improved but for a fee free platform I think they are doing pretty well.

A Mickey Mouse Courier

Just as I was thinking nobody can do worse than Evri, these cowboys came out of the woodwork. I have received stiff with Yodel a couple of times before but I guess I was just lucky being at home and never had to arrange a redelivery or divert my parcel to a collection shop. This time I got the short stick and I was busy on the day of delivery. I tried to reschedule or divert the previous day but just to find out that I can't do anything before my parcel is out for delivery which was quite strange but I didn't think of it much at the time. Then the day came and got an email while out and busy that it was "out for delivery" and would receive it in a couple of hours.Then I remembered that on the tracking page it was mentioned I can arrange a different date or place when the parcel is out just needed to allow for at least 24 hours to be diverted or redelivered on shown dates. And as the more recent dates available were inconvenient I decided to opt for a delivery to one of their Collection Stores. I received an email confirming that it was diverted and gonna be delivered to the chosen place and just needed to wait for it a day or 2. After waiting 3 days for confirmation email and a QR collection code I went to the website again to che the tracking. I couldn't believe my eyes. They have just decided on their own accord to return the package to sender. Contacted customer service but was goven no explanation as to why or who decided to do that without even sending me an email first. I heard excuses as "there has been a problem with the package or the sender requested to be returned both of which doesn't sound plausible as the package was in the van a hour away from my address few days back without issues to be delivered whenever they felt about it. I am so disappointed and will pray to never cross path with this joke of a company again.

I bought 3 items from this place

I bought 3 items from this place. Two were faulty, one works. I bought a TV with a month guarantee. When I bought it I could see marks on the screws that it has been opened and repaired. The TV worked fine just until the warranty expired. Then it doesn't anymore. A smart TV losing its WiFi connection and could not reconnect on its own every time I turn it off. These guys are not trustworthy. I bought a vacuum cleaner that was burnt and would never work but dropping my breaker everyone I turned it on. Pathetic dishonest people. Will never buy from them again.

The courier Left my parcel in a ''safe…

The courier left my parcel in a ''safe place'' next to my door marked as left in the porch when I don't have one. It stayed all day there cause I was at work. No chance to change the delivery time when I received the email in the morning and luckily I found the parcel where it was left 10 hours later... Just another greedy estate agency

Just another greedy estate agency. Wanted to book a viewing for a house for sale at 1 Redland Close, Ilkeston. After not receiving any reply decided to call the agency and ask what's going on. The agent was obviously acting dumb and after eventually ''finding'' my inquiry started emailing me with offers for other houses and asked if I would like to speak to their mortgage adviser. She said she had called the seller but the call had gone straight to voicemail. Obviously that seller doesn't wanna sell his house, cause I never got back from them. After refusing to go and meet their mortgage adviser I was of not importance for them. So obviously there are two options here. Either the advert is a bogus one keeping it for attracting potential clients, or they are in breach of the Code of Practice for Estate agencies. Whatever the reason for my experience with them I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. The seller will waste time and money using them, the buyer will lose money and nerves. Your move is to NOT use YOUR MOVE!!!
Update: I went to see the house without arranged viewing today, cause it's still on the market. Guess what, there is no sign of this house being for sale! No sign whatsoever that the owner have a slight intention of selling it ever! No news from the agency about my request for a viewing too. The house can be clearly seen to be inhabited. I didn't knock on the door cause whoever lives there, from my point of view, doesn't want to sell the house. Nevertheless, the owner must be in this game with the agents if he keeps his house on the market at such a price for so long and never bother to show it to anyone. So as I said earlier this advert is not real and would not recommend this agency to my worst enemy!

Had a very difficult start with them

Had a very difficult start with them, but eventually (After 3 months of struggle and a complaint to the Ombudsman) they resolved the issue. Most of the guys and girls in the live chat are pretty much useless for resolving any problems, although polite and trying their best. Overall, fair prices and decent customers service.

It's OK most of the time

I buy from them, cause most of the prices are good when you buy online. I've had a lot of my orders with wrong sizes which I suspect they do on purpose when they don't have the size needed. The problem there is the return procedure is pain in the bottom and you can't even change it in store cause they usually don't have most of the online merchandise there. I guess cheaper sometimes ends up more expensive.

Can't wait to switch!!!

They lure you into signing a contract with their ''good'' prices for internet speeds they never provide. I am currently on a 12 month ''Fast''(???) Broadband contract which is supposed to give you download speeds of around 11Mbs. Guess what? My speed has never exceeded 3.5Mbs connection dropping often and this is something normal to them. According to their team I can expect speeds from 2.2Mbs (???) to 5.2Mbs. Or the best I can hope for is more than twice less what they are advertising. They make excuses such as: long lines, many customers using the service, etc. I've had better speeds 10 years ago using outdoors coxial cables and modems where every single resident in the surrounding area was a customer of the company. Long story short is that I signed a cheap deal that was supposed to be a value for money. What I got is a crappy internet connection with a ridiculous speed that's not worth the £20 I pay every month...

Total ripoff

Total ripoff. You pay fees and commissions every step of the way. Even for withdrawing your own money and closing your account. You will be lucky if after making something on your investment won't lose more from cashing in. Will be better off keeping your money in the bank or under your mattress. The reason I give them an extra star is the good customers service they provide.
