Fraudulent company

Absolute criminals.
While switching from Scottish power to British gas, I was promised by email that they wasn't a charge for coming out of contract to switch to British gas. Scottish power said uswitch are dishonest and I've been charged £200 fine from coming out of contract. I refuse to be rob by them and now I'm blacklisted.
What a brilliant company this. Uswitch said I should of double checked and not to take there email serious.

WARNING

WARNING, FALSE ADVERTISING. This is a fraudulent company. I was told by Uswitch that they were no cancelation fee for switching energy companies. This was untrue and i was charged by Scottish power £200. I put a complaint into Uswitch about this and i was told that it is my fault for believing the information what they told me and what they wrote via email and that i should of check myself and they hold no responsibility for what information there sale team say or write. I have now been blacklisted and cannot get credit anymore because of this.

To clarify, Uswitch relies on the information users provide during the comparison process — such as your current energy supplier and the specific tariff you're on — in order to generate accurate switching results. If a Standard Variable Tariff (which typically has no exit fees) is selected, our tool will reflect that in the results. If you were on a Fixed Tariff, however, exit fees may apply — and it's something we always aim to highlight clearly.

In your case, based on the details entered, our system displayed that no exit fees were applicable. If this was inaccurate, it was due to an incorrect tariff selection during the journey when you were filling in all the details.

When you contacted us directly, we did request additional details to investigate further, and we followed up multiple times. Unfortunately, as we didn’t receive a response, the case was closed.

We're very sorry this experience led to such frustration — please know we take feedback seriously and remain committed to helping consumers make informed choices.

First time user. Not good at all.

Uswitch promised me that they were no cancelation fee if I transferred from Scottish power to British gas. This was a lie and I'm been charge £100 by Scottish power for switching away from them. I ask people to be very careful before using this company.

In response to the feedback from uswitch.
Sorry I was not made aware that the information provided by uswitch during the sale and contract process regarding the authentication of the information they send maybe false and misleading and uswitch bears no legal or moral responsibility to make this information clear during the sales process. Apparently it's the customers responsibility to double check and validate the information and offers uswitch provide are true.

If the information you provided is accurate, it appears that your previous plan with ScottishPower was a Standard plan, which typically does not include early termination fees. Therefore, you should not have been charged an exit fee. However, we always recommend verifying the details of your tariff with your supplier to ensure that you have the most accurate information.

Make a £3500 error of estimation…

Hi!

It took them two months to come take a meter reading and fit a smart meter in the technical room (I have no access to) in the apartment complex I live after the previous energy supplier went brust.

So for them two months, they estimated to me, the system and also the government energy relief scheme that a good estimate would be 7400 kWh (£3500) units in a two month period. (one bed apartment)

Meaning that E.on purposely or not, directly profited from over inflating estimates, by way of taking advantage of the energy price guarantee support package from the government. In this case by the means of over £1200 in two months

I have a smart meter now, so its all recorded and it's easy to workout that, i would struggle even to use that much power in a year.

So from November to February (The 3 most expensive months) I used 2800 kWh units of power calculated by the smart meter and between September until start of November (2 months)
Magically from thin air they estimated it was 7400 kWh.

But hey.., mistakes happen but never have I had to deal with customers service of this ignorance and rudeness.

Customers having a safe place to defend…

Customers having a safe place to defend themselves against bad company practices, means the companies have to take responsibility for their mistakes or fraudulent ways or if impressed with a company,
giving them the due credit they deserve. I thank trust pilot for giving the common person a voice.

EE Fraudulent company methods

After a very poor internet old copper line connection 5 mbps, i was offered a 4g router at double the price and if I took it over 18 months the broadband contract would be cancelled and the new 4g router contract would take its place. I wasn't happy at the price but reluctenly accepted the offer. But after this the broadband contract still continued and took money from my account , I rang serveral times to tell them but they still keep charging for broadband, it's not even plugged in. Apparently the mobile and broadband customer service division have parted and no longer talk to each other, with the customers paying the price. Avoid this incompetent or fraudulent company. Reply to EE response. Ive rang serveral times, this requires both EE broadband and EE mobile departments to be in sync. I keep getting told that EE will sort it out but this never happens. This is why everything must be in writing now and if you genuinely want to help, try responding to the emails. To be fair, the 4g router is fast 60-90 mbps and reliable.

I'm gutted to hear that you're still paying for your Home Broadband, especially after you've been told this will be cancelled if you took out our 4GEE Mobile Broadband, we should have sorted this for you as soon as possible.

Never delivered even though they said…

Never delivered even though they said they have on a tracking order as delivered by Yodel in a different name. Camera's shows no delivery and it were signed by a unknown name and no note through my door of a very expensive air conditioner, vendor no reply. Amazon pass the buck and yodel are just making things up. No communication and I see this as fraud and the buck stops at amazon UK but won't take no responsibility even though Yodel are trying. Never buying from these companies anymore. Everyone is contradicting each other. Been a customer for years but not after this. Its happening to a lot of peoples amazon packages. I would restrain ordering until they treat customer's as customer's and obviously you have rouge departments. #highstreetneedsyou👊
