Happy with purchase

Happy with purchase. Good production of the photo I provided on a good quality card. A star lost because of the time it took for me to receive it, albeit quicker than advised at the time of order.

Unfair automated dropdown menu choices

I had a problem with an item received damaged. I had no luck whatsover trying to sort it out with AliExpress, so sought help from PayPal. Firstly, I claimed that it had not been delivered, but it arrived the following day. So I needed to change my claim reason to "item received damaged". However, there was no provision in their dropdown menu for this. So I was forced to choose "item not as expected" (i.e. I did not expect it to arrive broken). The only option for me thereafter was to return the item AT MY COST. There is no option for me to submit any further responses other than to enter the tracking details for its return. So all I can do now is close my claim. I am so angry about this. What I had proposed in the responses I submitted was for me to keep the item, for AliExpress to either arrange to have just the broken plastic part replaced free of charge, or issue a partial refund. That fell on deaf ears!
The other thing I'm not happy with is that Ireland PayPal members receive less benefits than their UK counterparts.

SOME POOR QUALITY ITEMS

Some of the products they sell are not of acceptable standard, i.e. poor quality. I bought an Essentials Entrance Mat 900 x 1500mm and the manufactured quality was appalling, so much so that it was split along the edging, which could cause a trip hazard. I returned it and was given a refund no problem. I bought another whilst I was there, hoping that it would not present the same problem, but I got it home and discovered it was exactly the same. In my opinion this mat should be removed from sale. There are no reviews about this mat on their website, and I am unable to submit one via my Screwfix app or on their website. The fact that I can't even submit a review is an urgent matter which Screwfix need to address immediately. My advice is DO NOT BUY this mat, it's dangerous.

When they had a supply problem with my subscription order they went "above and beyond" to help me out. They also sent me free samples for my dogs to try out. Can't praise them enough.

Very poor

Incompetent! Always problems with deliveries to our address. Our Eircode system isn't rocket science, so they should be able to pinpoint delivery with 100% accuracy and deliver straight to our door without a hitch. Not so! Really annoyed. How come deliveries from DPD are no problem whatsoever ? If they can do it, so can you GLS. Get your act together! STILL WAITING FOR PACKAGE

Will not buy a Makita anything ever again!

The Makita SDS drill we bought was used just 3 times over a period of 10 months - then it "s**t" itself. Well looked after and no abuse, so actually it wasn't fit for purpose. Guarantee only 1 year. Returned it to supplier (in Ireland) who sent it to Fermanagh (Northern Ireland, UK) for REPAIR would you believe! Three weeks on and we're still without it.... "on the bench" apparently whilst they decide whether to repair or replace. Absolutely disgusting. Should be replaced with a new one and a fresh 1-yr guarantee. Supplier doesn't bother to update me at all, so I have to chase. By the time I get it back the guarantee will be almost out. Will not buy a Makita anything again ever.

Disappointing

First gripe... deliveries take far too long. I never receive anything in 3 days, it's always at least 6 days.
Second gripe... little stability with their pricing. Sometimes prices are competitive but next time I find there's a big increase.
Now they've stopped their loyalty points - so maybe they can reduce their prices and improve delivery times?

Lovely little car at a very good price

Lovely little car at a very good price, but the wheels were pretty grubby and damaged. Efficient staff, painless collection and drop off.
A bit of a wait for the bus, and Green Motion not at Car Rental Village, they are further away, but I suppose that helps to keep costs down.
I would def use again, but a word of advice, dont leave it till the last minute to drop the car back, or you could miss your flight.

Cannot unsubscribe from their emails!

Bombarded with emails from them, but unable to unsubscribe. I click the unsubscribe link provided in email but it obviously does not do the job because they still keep coming! So annoying... I'm no longer interested and don't want to receive any more.

Getting really annoyed with poor…

Getting really annoyed with poor service of this network, which I pay well for. Speed just lately very disappointing and nowhere near what I expect. Upload 35.6 just now, which is a lot better than it has been. Recently it was less than 1. Also what is poor is Zoiper, which I use through Imagine. Pretty rubbish at times, and its not Zoiper, it's the Imagine network and I'm hearing an incomplete pre-recorded message instead of my phone ringing the number I've dialed. So frustrating! Their posters boast of "up to ... speed" in my area just don't cut it! Unfortunately there's no other option in my rural area, so they have us by the short and curlies. One of their people called at my place a few months back, offering me Imagine. He was really surprised when I said I was already with them (their equipment is clearly visible on the outside at the front of my property.) I did tell him that I was often disappointed with the download speed. I also showed him some installation wiring they'd done which I wasn't now happy with. He took a photo of it and said he'd get something done about it. No surprise I never heard anything more about it, so it remains unsightly. BTW, when they did the installation, they wanted to lay the wiring INSIDE and along the rainwater guttering! I said NO! Recently there was a 2% reduction in VAT, which Imagine decided to keep rather than pass it on to their customers. NOT AMUSED!!

So frustrating & disappointing!

I was unable to place an order with them because I could not get payment accepted, either by PayPal or UK debit card. Although I live in Rep of Ireland I do have a UK debit card. I know Wahl do not deliver to ROI, but I wanted the item delivered to a UK address. I also enquired about a replacement blade and they provided me with the product code for it (not mentioning that they themselves are actually out of stock) and advised me that I would have to contact an Irish retailer. Fat chance of success over here. Needless to say I found no Irish retailer who currently stock or ever stocked this part.

Think carefully about buying from this…

Think carefully about buying from this crowd... I would not buy from them again. Ordered two black Panache sports bras (in the same size), one underwired and one non-wired. Delivery pretty slow. The underwired one was well undersized and didn't fit me at all. Had to return AT MY EXPENSE! Had to chase refund, which I eventually got. The black non-wired one fitted just fine. So, straight away I ordered another non-wired, the same size, in nude colour. Foolishly I assumed the fit would be the same as the black one, and when the bra arrived I immediately broke off the labelling... but NO! It was noticeably smaller than the black one in both the cup size and around the back. It actually didn't fit me but as I had pulled off the tags I felt obliged to keep it. Luckily and eventually after weight loss it fits me now. The black one kinda still fits, it's just a bit big.

Not surprised Poinsettia had to have the last say about this... and they took their time in posting their response. I did take a long while to post my review. Maybe because I am sick of complaining about stuff generally. The two same-sized and style of bra I ordered were not the same size, and how do I know which one was right? We all know that different styles of bra come up differently in size and fit, but should not differ when the style and size is exactly the same. Now let that be an end to it!
