Great

Great, although I waited on the side of a 70mph road for 2.5 hours the help was stress free and professional, was scary but being reassured helped me a lot. Was told to sit on the side of the road whilst waiting but then also told I could wait in my car, which was a bit confusing but overall would recommend, happy with my service

Absolutely terrible customer service.

I’m incredibly disappointed to be writing this review, but I feel it’s important that other people understand the risk of purchasing vouchers from this company.

A spa and afternoon tea experience voucher was purchased for me as a thoughtful gift. It was meant to be something special to look forward to and enjoy as a relaxing treat. Unfortunately, due to circumstances and it getting lost in a house move, the voucher expired before I managed to book.

As soon as I realised, I contacted the company to ask if there was anything that could be done. I wasn’t asking for anything for free, I even offered to pay to extend the voucher, which many businesses allow. I was more than happy to pay an extension fee just so the original gift wouldn’t go completely to waste.

The response I received was extremely disheartening. I was told that because the voucher had expired, it was now void, and there was absolutely nothing they could do. The only thing they offered was 10% off a future purchase, which felt incredibly dismissive given that the full value of the original voucher has now simply been lost.

What makes this particularly upsetting is that no service was ever provided at all, yet the money that was paid for the experience has still been kept. The voucher was bought in good faith as a gift meant to create a nice memory, and instead it has just turned into wasted money and a really disappointing experience.

I completely understand that businesses have policies and expiry dates, but a little bit of understanding and flexibility would have gone a long way here, especially when I made it clear that I was willing to pay to extend the voucher rather than expecting anything for free.

Sadly, the complete lack of empathy or willingness to help has left a very negative impression. Something that was meant to be a thoughtful gift has ended up feeling quite upsetting and frustrating instead.

Based on this experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying a voucher from this company to think carefully. If plans change or life gets in the way, it seems there is absolutely no flexibility at all, and what was meant to be a special gift can very easily end up being nothing more than wasted money. My advise would be go go to another trusted company like virgin experience days as their customer service is trusted, Activity Superstore only care about your money not your experience

Thank you for your feedback. As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, vouchers must be booked and completed prior to the expiry date. I have reviewed this matter and can see that you voucher was purchase in March 2024 with an 18-month validity period and therefore expired in October 2025.

We do offer customers a one-month grace period after the expiry date, during which vouchers can be extended for a further six months for a fee of £20. Unfortunately, as we only received contact from you this month, this grace period had already passed and the voucher is now void.

We understand that this is disappointing and apologise for any inconvenience this situation has caused.
