The engineer got my fibre to premises…

The engineer got my fibre to premises set up quickly efficiently. I did ask him to site the new box where the existing copper cable entered the house. He said he would, but then he ended up siting it in a different place without explaining first why or letting me have a choice. Fortunately it wasn't too far away so as it turned out didn't cause too much of a problem except I'm still left with the original box on the wall.

Paid the additional cost for next day…

Paid the additional cost for next day delivery, but it actually took two days for the goods to be delivered. Have notified Pavers, asking for a refund for the delivery charge, but have not received their response after four days.

Pavers response is that their "delivery timeframes are an estimate and not a guarantee". Going through the checkout process online I cannot see any mention of this. It is hidden away on a separate page. The delay was not with the delivery company, according to their parcel tracking they did not receive the goods until the day after I placed the order even though this was before the cutoff for next day delivery.

I understand that sometimes delays are inevitable, but in those circumstances I fail to understand why I have still been charged the highest amount for a failed next day delivery. I have been given no sign that Pavers will make me a refund, so buyers beware. I will not be using them again.

Threemo handled the sale of my mother's house. They were always courteous and dealt with all my phone calls and emails very quickly. Their pricing is very competitive and I would recommend them. I would certainly use them again.

Trading old camera gear is a doddle

I traded in a camera and three lenses I was no longer using. The whole process was simple, straightforward and fair. I got a decent price for all the equipment, higher than I was offered by a competitor dealing in used cameras. The equipment was collected by their delivery provider on the Monday and the money was deposited in my account on the following Friday. Great service from Park Cameras.

Appalling level of service

I switched to Avro Energy back in April and since then I've been appalled by their customer service. To say it's poor is to give them too much credit. I'm not happy about giving them 1 star. It would have been zero if that was possible.
The problem I have is that I'm being charged for two gas meters and two electricity meters, despite only having one of each (and never had more than one). Despite only giving them readings for the meters I have, they estimate the readings for the other two.
I think the problem may be that I was with Avro some years back, then switched to a different supplier and during that time had replacement smart meters fitted. Now I've switched back to Avro they're billing me for the old meters as well as the new ones.
I emailed Avro about this on the 8th June, but I've not had any response from them yet despite me sending follow-up emails on the 22nd and 29th June. They've not even had the courtesy to acknowledge that they are investigating.
I don't understand how they can get away with such poor service. However have they managed to score 4.7 out of 5 on Trust pilot?
I would advise anyone thinking about switching to Avro Energy to seriously think again.
Update 7th July 2021: the day after posting this review I was contacted by Avro Energy. They confirmed that I was being billed twice for old and new meters. They also updated the billing on my account. I'm happy that the matter has been resolved, but it's a shame it had to come to this.
