Brilliant pre-travel customer service

Customer service when I phoned before my holiday was eventually brilliant in the form of the Jet2 colleague called Thomas. He very efficiently and professionally dealt with my quite complicated query quickly and with personality. I would not hesitate to recommend Jet2 for their professionalism

I am quite disappointed in this app…

I am quite disappointed in this app even though I wanted to really like it. My interests are pickleball and woodworking - diy. The woodworking magazines are American and so is the one and only pickleball magazine. Not UK relevant at all. I won't be paying for this at all.

Awful Blue Gel doesn't work

I cannot understand why Haleon are not taking note of this incomprehensible change of a perfectly good and I'm sure- a best seller white paste to the new formulation which reminds me of poundshop cheap toothpaste that doesn't work. My teeth feel plaquey again after a couple of hours whereas before it would need good for the whole day. Why fix something that wasn't broke? Answer - lower quality and asking same money. Greedy company not bothered about their customers otherwise they would have answered some of these 1 star reviews. Im now looking at other brands and won't be touching this blue shite.

Wonderful and Efficient

Can only say great things about Look Fantastic. Well worth buying the annual Premier delivery if you use them a lot. Its next day delivery and it works. Ive also experienced their standard delivery and still it was fast. My first stop for anything beauty is Look Fantastic.

Not too happy with NB

Not too happy with NB. Ordered one bottle of oil on 1st Dec. Only just been delivered. Thats not all. Lack of communication from NB instead pointing me towards an App called SHOP whose sole purpose i believe is to sell us more stuff rather than give any updates on delivery. So no updates for 7 days. I emailed NB on the 8th and the reply was that they were on Xmas holiday and back on the 30th. I then checked the website and its stated that they were on holiday between the 24th and 2nd Jan. I then rang and left a message. No one got back to me. They eventually replied and the reply was dismissive and not useful. The only real information I received this week was from Royal Mail to update me once NB actually sent them the package. From then it took 3 days to get here today. NB has a low review score and now I understand why. I will not be using them again preferring the Soapery.

Scaremongering tactics…

Clearscore use scaremongering tactics to illicit people to log onto their accounts. For instance: i recently switched my current account to a different bank using the switch service. Lovely.... Clearscore sent me an email alerting me that there was a new CREDIT AGREEMENT taken out on my credit report which was either a new credit card, loan or mortgage. I immediately thought that my identity has been stolen and someone had taken out some form of CREDIT agreement. I immediately checked my report and low and behold there was no such "credit agreement". Clearscore had deliberately made the fact that I'd switched bank accounts into a full blown identity theft! I sent an email to clearscore complaining about their tactics and promptly deleted my account. Don't use these charlatans. They are just brokers to sell you financial products. If you want to see your statutory credit report it is free with either Equifax or Experian. You DO NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR CREDIT REPORT. Clearscore will try to take £15 a month off tou only for them trying to sell you financial products you could get directly through those financial institutions that provide the products. Clearscore are just an intermediary. Don't fall for their BS.

Misrepresentation of "FREE DELIVERY"

I did my research and decided to buy a Hotpoint Oven. So I went directly to their website and was happy that they offer free delivery code to cover my first order if I sign up to their newsletter. So I quickly signed up. And waited..... and waited. So I thought there was a glitch and that I would ring the next morning. I rang and was told that no one could answer my call so I used the live chat. Brilliant!! No such luck. The operative informed me that the free delivery promotion is that I would have to place my order and PAY DELIVERY and then when oven is delivered the guys would give me a high street voucher to the value of £20 which is the cost of delivery. I told her that is not what it says on the website. She was dismissive and said that's all she could do. I am not pleased with this clear misrepresentation of their free delivery promotion. So I did not buy the oven from them.
Updated since receiving Hotpoint's reply: I haven't bought an appliance because you didn't give me what you promised which is Free delivery when I sign up. Read the actual review!!!!

Mundesley Cottage hidden gem

My friend and I stayed at Elice Cottage in Mundesley, UK for a week from 13th July 25. We had a marvellous time and thoroughly enjoyed our fabulous stay in this gorgeous house. Firstly can I say that the description and photos on the Holiday Cottages website do not do justice to this amazing property. Everywhere and every room was spotlessly clean. The 3 bathrooms were spotless and very well equipped with ample toilet paper, hand soap and beautiful white towels. In the downstairs bathroom there was even a mirror opposite the main over the sink mirror so you could see the back of your head! Fancy that! The kitchen was very very well equipped with everything you could want in a kitchen. The owners even thought of bag ties. The wooden butter knives were brilliant and I 'm still looking for them to buy online! There's a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine - all extremely clean. The owner left dishwasher and washing tabs under the sink, along with kitchen towels and tea towels. Also there was carpet stain remover in case of accidents - a great addition as the carpet is light coloured. There is a great stock of drinking glasses - water, wine and champagne flutes. There was six of everything and enough cutlery, knives, serving spoons, etc for the family. Upstairs there are 2 bathrooms one of which is en suite to the double bedroom. Both rooms were very well furnished with comfy beds and white cotton bedding. Very quiet area.
The outside area is also well stocked with garden games, bbq, large table and six chairs. 2 pull out washing lines, and a further airer behind kitchen door and bucket of pegs.
The village of Mundesley is lovely with a beautiful beach, a couple of great pubs and a few cafes and independent shops. For a large supermarket it's only about 15 minutes away in Stalham. The bus services are brilliant going to Cromer, North Walsham, etc. The bus stop being just five minutes walk away.
In conclusion, Elice Cottage is a real hidden gem. I would highly recommend this holiday home for anyone who wants a quiet and comfortable Norfolk base from which to explore this beautiful region of England.

Absolute robbing Btards

Absolute robbing Btards. Rapid drop off has changed. Now you pay online. I didn't see signage and looking at the other scathing reviews neither did they. APCOA , the parking company are charlatans making money from people who didn't know the way of paying had changed. Look at your reviews EMA and do something about it. Give people more time to pay! Midnight the next day is too short a time. Some people are disabled, older, undergoing treatment or being flooded etc so a little more time would help. But they are obviously not bothered about individuals' extenuating circumstances, only their bottom line - raking it in. I didn't bother to appeal as I knew it would not be upheld. They are scum.

Purina are greedy and covert

Purina are greedy and covert. They sneakily have taken 15g off each Felix pouch and charged the same. So for each 40 pouch purchase we lose 600 grams. No wonder my cat was losing weight. You are robbing people blind and to say that you are avoiding wastage is absolute BS. Again another example of outright and utter greed and capitalism. Weren't you making enough profits before. I've now swopped to a 100g per pouch food and my cat loves it. I hope you have a very unprofitable year. And I'm going to stand near your products in Sainsbury's to warn potential unknowing buyers exactly what they're getting for the same layout. No where on the front or sides of the box does it state the size. Only at the back. GREEDY company. Disgusted.

Absolutely brilliant. This is exactly what great customer service looks like!!!

I decided I needed a side table in the living room, but I wanted to make something a little different from the norm. I wanted an industrial look and began to search online for suitable black pipes and flanges, which I found on Wood N Wax website. I ordered the black steam punk 26cm table legs with a connector - 4 of them. They came quickly and I started my new project - they were beautiful - very pleased with them. I ran out of black screws so I took one of the legs to B & Q to size up for black screws. Anyway I bought the screws but unfortunately I left the leg at the shop. I realised at 3.45 on Sunday just gone and the manager said he would look out for them that evening. I couldn't get there before it shut at 4pm. To cut a long story short, I still haven't found the leg but the staff at B & Q were brilliant. I decided to ring Wood n Wax today and spoke to Karen who, despite having a bad flu, was amazing, explaining that I could order the individual parts for one table leg instead of having to buy another 4! I was so very grateful and happy that she was able to accommodate my request for 1 table leg. I have just completed the order at minimum cost and await delivery. So I believe by Monday I'll be able to finish my project which has still come in budget despite having to buy another leg. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and understanding and a great selection of out of the ordinary furniture fittings. Thank you!!!

No connection to wifi

I have been trying most of the day to get my Sonos speaker to connect to WiFi. I have tried everything but to no avail. It only works when hard wired to the router. Rang but the wait was 45minutes. Clunky interface and going round in circles was all I was able to do. Will buy a decent Bluetooth speaker. Fed up.

I ordered Euros online to be collected in Loughborough. Very easy and smooth experience from ordering to communications to pick up. And guess what? The exchange rate was the best I could find either online or in bureaux. Would highly recommend and will continue to exchange there. Thank you.

Tried to find a train from Leicester UK…

Tried to find a train from Leicester UK to Porto Portugal. Guess what? No trains. Then tried from London St Pancras to Porto. No trains. Is this a train planning app or a platform for ads? Nil points.

Currently, all the Portugal trips are not bookable on our website. Rail Europe does not currently sell any Portuguese tickets i.e. those wholly within Portugal as well as to and from Portugal, since we aren't able to make seat reservations online. Hence, you can't find those schedules on our website.

Our team is working diligently to prioritize and upload all the popular products and journeys on our website in the coming months. We are hopeful that they will introduce all routes as soon as possible.

Too lengthy refund policy.

I bought shoes and they arrived 21st Feb with major faults. I sent them back immediately and still I have not received my refund despite ringing them twice. They say refund takes 14 days. I didn't take 14 days to pay them. Not happy with Jones at all. Won't be online shopping with them anytime soon. Edit : even though the shoes were faulty they still deducted £2.50 from refund which I still haven't received. I had to ring Jones again 4th March to ask them to refund that £2.50. So now 13 days later still no refund. What is taking so long? Other retailers can refund quickly. Why can't Jones. They take my money quickly enough.

Shein are a scam

Shein are a scam. I bought 3 items for £35. They were of very poor quality so I followed the returns procedure and sent them back via EVRI. Shein stated that they didn't receive the goods back even though EVRI assured me that they were delivered. The only way I could communicate with Shein was through chat bot which didn't seem to understand my questions. Conveniently. So now I've sent the foods back. Have not been refunded and I will continue to share my experience of Shein with everyone I meet. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER.

Ok. I hear everyone's bad experiences with Nespresso. I need to tell you mine. I bought my Citiz & Milk from Marketplace 2nd hand. Worked for about 4 days then stopped working. I downloaded the Nespresso app and opened an account. I then phoned N to report my machine not working. They checked the serial number and my machine was within their 3 year guarantee period. They picked it up, gave me a replacement and returned it 5 days later. I was well chuffed. After using it for 4 days it stopped working so I again phone N and told them the problem. They again picked it up and I didn't bother this time with a loan machine but they did ask me. About 7 days later my machine came back. Everything was fine for 6 whole days and guess what - yes it stopped working. So I rang N 3rd (time lucky) and explained to the lovely coffee specialist that the machine was irreparable. She told me to send it back once more. At that point I said No. I want to speak to a manager because machine had been for repair twice now and if they haven't fixed it yet they never will. So the girl put me on hold to find manager. 5 minutes later no manager. She said unfortunately there are no managers therefore we are sending you a new machine. I was delighted. This conversation took place on 18th Sept. Today I received a brand new machine. Very shiny and working atm!!! Let's see. I think with Nespresso you have to stand your ground and insist on being heard. Great coffee !!

Do not use Green Thumb

I have had GT now for over a year. Before they started work my lawn was fresh lush and green. Now it totally patchy with large areas of no grass at all. Operative would always come when I wasn't at home. Never ever did they give me any advice on upkeep of the lawn. Just blazing in for 2.minutes and putting an invoice through the door. I never got any advice except when I complained to the local rep. Then I had a glossy leaflet telling me that a lawn could do with "machine work" what on earth does that mean. I am now going to raise a complaint with Stephen Waring about the operation at LE7 1NA.
