Car returned within an hour
Picked car up at Kilmarnock after ordering online. Car was sitting outside and was filthy , to be returned to workshop for a wash. Got home and husband ( owned garage and been a mechanic for over 40 years)noticed doors and rear light were out of alignment and underneath the car was covered in badly applied mastic. Looked like a bad repair The car was covered in scratches and when we opened boot, bugs were crawling about. Returned car within the hour as not as described. We were told with 68 miles on clock was like a new car. We got told to take a seat and order would be undone. We sat for over 2 1/2 hours. As we were told the undoing would take some time we asked if we could take our old car and leave. Told this was fine. There are plenty of witnesses to this as the click and collect was busy. Seemed only one person dealing and he was dealing with us and other customers at same time, two in particular , one lady was with him when he said I could return car and a man was sitting with him when we asked if we could leave and take my old car back,Now waiting for refund .
After my review was published I got below reply.
No one phoned.. I got in touch with customer services 24/06/25 and got told my notes had been updated and to phone click and collect to make an appointment to get money refunded on card. I phoned and click and collect said they were unaware and would call me back. They didn’t, called customer care to confirm notes had been updated, was assured they had, now waiting for a manager to call tomorrow, customer care is nonexistent.
