Thinking of going back to my local pharmacy

Since starting with Pilltime things have gone wrong more times than right.Only this week I received my medication and only two of the six regular items were sent in their original packaging.I sent an email to ask why and the response was that my GP had only prescribed 2 items.This was incorrect so I contacted the chat line and provided the bar code to the missing items
The advisor was very helpful and having loaded the barcode in,found the missing prescribed items.Clearly there is some failure in either the system or IT user mistakes as it is not the first time I have been informed that there were no prescriptions only to be told,oh yes we have found them after I had given them them the barcodes.Were I less proactive in keeping a close eye on.my medications,I would have run out.of medication on more than one occasion.When you consider Pilltime is meant to make the process easier,this has not always been the experience.

Always get great service

We always have great service from Moorland Heating. We get a reminder every year which means I don't have to remember . Booking is easy and they get you in pretty quickly for the service. Engineer arrived as planned and got on with service with no fuss.

Quickly resolved issue

Originally gave them a poor rating because of unusual poor product but I have increased it because they quickly resolved the matter with no fuss. Full refund given. Has not affected my choice as I have recently ordered two more pairs of glasses.

Worth considering SCS

We have never purchased from SCS before.We had pretty much decided from online pictures which sofa we liked so it was just a case of going in to see the sofa for real.Order process pretty straight forward.Additional extras were offered but not over pushed when we declined.Order to delivery time was reasonable and delivery communication was good.Shaun and Darren the delivery guys did an excellent job in getting our sofa into a bit of a challenging front and inner door but they took their time and ensured the sofa got in without any damage to home or new sofa.All put together and all rubbish removed.Can,t ask for more.I would happily buy from SCS again.

D&G pestering less than 2 hours after receiving new drier.

Had delivery of my new Hotpoint drier today and within less than a couple of hours of registering the product with Hotpoint, I get a phone call from D&G trying to sell me extended warrantly. Firstly why would I start paying them every month for warranty when I have a 2 year warranty and 10 years parts cover. As soon as she said she was from D&G I said if you have phoned to try and sell me extended warranty then I am not interested.She must of had difficulty understanding me as she still proceeded to waffle on about manufacturers warranty and needing extended warranty. Hotpoint should shoulder some of the criticism as they look to be in some sort of partnership with D&G, as they have provided them with my details. Why would a manufacturer appear to encourage extended warranties with a 3rd party, especially when the machine is new and still under their warranty. Are they not confident in their products? I remember D&G being very pushy when my elederly in-laws had a new fridge and washer a couple of years ago.And even when I said no, they phoned again a few days later. This sort of cold selling could be quite intimidating to the elderly and/or vunerable people. And why do so many manufacturers include D&G flyers with all the product paperwork when your new item arrives. I can understand these companies dropping you a line as your manufacturers warranty comes to and end, but not on the day I buy the products.

Excessive cancellation fee…

Just cancelled the contents insurance for my father in law who recently went into full time care. The policy at start was only around £79 with a refund of approx £57. But of course we expected a cancellation fee which onecall charged £55.99 which seems much higher than the industry average. I wouldn't mind normally but this seems excessive especially when you consider that the only reason I cancelled was because my father in law is no longer able to care for himself and has gone into permanant care. I wonder if they would have charged the same fee if someone cancelled because a policy holder has passed away.Anyway look forward to my father in law getting his £1.54 refund.

Reliable local company

Use Moorland Heating every year to service our boiler. They always arrive on time and you get given a fixed time slot so you don't have to stay in all day waiting. Their servicing cost is very reasonable and they are very quick to respond to any queries. And of course it's good to support your local trades.

First impressions are excellent

As my mobile phone contract is coming to an end and I don,t want to upgrade my phone, I changed to a SIM only deal with Talkmobile. The online application was very easy to use and their communication was excellent. New SIM card arrived within a day and setting up new SIM in my phone was easy. I asked to keep my old number and this was done within 24 hours. Can't fault the order, delivery and set up process on the new account. And in going SIM only I am saving around £23 per month. Only time will tell as to how good the service and coverage is but first impressions look good.

First Impressions Good

Easy process to buy online. Good level of cover at excellent price. I guess the true test will be if ever I need to make a claim but first impressions very good.

First class

Ordered paving slabs 2 weeks ago and when I ordered they were aiming for about 10 to 14 day delivery time.They were upfront in explaining there may be delays due to their haulage partners being very busy. I contacted them a few days ago and explained that they would struggle to deliver in their normal delivery trucks so the supplier contacted the haulier to pre warn them.Got a response later in day saying they would deliver on small truck
Communication was excellent and items were delivered today.Slabs were very well packaged in crate and pallette. There were no damages to the slabs which is a first for me, as I have on most occasions had some breakage.First class service throughout the process.Will use again in future.In total it was 14 days from order to delivery.

Can't fault them

Had delivery of heavy pallette today.Phone call from them in advance offering choice of delivery date.Chose today and explained that due to access to street a smaller lorry would be needed. They already had a note on file to deliver with smaller lorry so contact between supplier and haulier clearly good. Only criticism I would make is that you can't pick a deliver slot.Its an all day delivery but that said I got a text early in day telling me delivery time so turned out good in end.The delivery guys were excellent and dropped pallet as close to my side entrance as they could making my job a lot easier in emptying the pallett. Can't fault them.

5 to 7 day delivery claim is misleading

Ordered on the 21st November 2022 and still waiting for delivery. Delivery details stated items will be delivered within 5 to 7 working days.That claim is a bit misleading as the 5 to 7 day clock does not start until your items are dispatched. So for us it took 7 days to dispatch despite all items being in stock.And now we are on day 8 so regardless of when their delivery clock starts they haven't met their 5 to 7 day delivery. So if you need something quick don't rely on getting it within the week.

Apologies you have not received your recent order, delivery is usually 5 - 7 working days (this does not include Bank holidays or weekend days)
Please note that some deliveries are taking longer to arrive than our standard stated delivery times, at this exceptionally busy time of year.
