Horrible, moronic company
I’ve been trying to simply move home, and take my BT fibre to a new house which is BT fibre ready.
- [ ] BT won’t talk to you and want you to use an app
- [ ] BT app wouldn’t open
- [ ] BT app wouldn’t update
- [ ] BT app once updated wouldn’t open x10
- [ ] Once BT appt was updated it would crash repeatedly
- [ ] BT App tells me to update even when it has been updated
- [ ] BT App tells me to update my phone OS which is up to date
- [ ] BT App crashes when I input pin
- [ ] BT App fails when I scan the qr code on the back of the router
- [ ] BT App freezes on black ‘restart’ login. When I click restart nothing happens
- [ ] when i shut down and restart the BT app, it actually fails
- [ ] on the phone I try to speak to a BT operator, it tells me to hang up and text.
- [ ] when I text it doesn’t respond for ages, then just says it can’t find my account
- [ ] then it provides me with a number to call, but when i call that i get a voice saying ‘you’ve dialled an incorrect number’!
- [ ] On the app if you try to get support, it sends you to a number, that then just hangs up on you and texts you, and starts the whole loop again
- [ ] When you text, as instructed, you get no response for about 15 mins.
- [ ] When BT text back they say ‘we are attempting to locate your contract’… and then 15 minutes later say they can’t find it and ask you to call.
- [ ] It is basically impossible to speak to a human.
- [ ] the BT app shows me no details about my BT contract, yet it shows some things about an unrelated EE mobile account. When I try and click on those details they also fail and give error messages
- [ ] All in all, about 5 hours wasted, on what should have been the simplest thing. Horrible moronic company.
