Another disappointing experience with…

Another disappointing experience with Yodel. Not only was my delivery 3 hours late, for reasons I can’t understand, your drivers continue to leave parcels on the doorstep of a very busy estate, despite the obvious risk. Packages are frequently stolen here, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened - previous deliveries left in the same way have gone missing.

Terrible service and parcels being…

Terrible service and parcels being withheld!
Our local parcel shop lost their scanner over a week ago and so are unable to release packages.
Evri have given ZERO communication to customers and apparently also the staff at the shop as to when the issue will be resolved so we can collect our items. Additionally, any further packages that were due to be delivered at the shop aren't being received by the staff and are being sent back to god knows where. And of course in true Evri fashion, there is no way to contact them and speak to a human and when you do get through via email, promises to get back to you within 24 hours are constantly broken.


You've asked me to contact your customer service number or use the online portal in your reply....I have done this, it is impossible to speak to a human. I've had promises of someone getting back to me and no one has.

All three agents I spoke to were great but heavily scripted.
The wait times are very long

Thanks for your valuable feedback.
 
I sincerely apologise for the wait time you experienced, we know it’s not acceptable, but we are doing everything we possibly can to ensure that our normal service levels resume as soon as possible.
 
Following the most recent travel announcement we have seen a 148% increase in our call volumes. Whilst this is fantastic news, we did not expect this upturn in such a short space of time. We are in the middle of training over 120 new people to take customer calls.

We want to make sure when you speak to us, we get things right, and therefore it takes 4-5 weeks for our new colleagues to be fully trained and provide the service we pride ourselves on. 

Whilst we wait for the training to come to an end, it does mean at the moment our wait times are longer than we would like. Our current staff members are working tirelessly to make sure we have people ready to take calls, however we are not always able to keep up with demand.

I am glad you managed to amend the policy, also please get back to us once you have the scan results so that we can update the policy accordingly.
