Disappointed Service, cancelling my insurance policy

I called as mobile needs to be repaired. Value Checkers Ltd took forever to arrange collection of mobile. I despatched my mobile on 30th of July 2025 and Value Checkers Ltd took two weeks for sending me replacement device. What's point to pay for insurance if it would take two weeks for repair or replacement. I'm using so sure from past over 8 years but going to cancel with them after this repaired. Value Checkers Ltd didn't confirmed any details for replacement mobile. I emailed them and they replied we don't provide any confirmation for replacement device. We only provide if customer request. What a joke. Cancelling insurance with so-sure mobile insurance and staying away from Value Checkers Ltd.

Terrible mobile phone insurance

ZYV0003947. I called today and spoken to Nick, I informed that my mobile is not charging and it's not switching on. Nick rejected my claim saying I need to call Samsung instead of domestic and general mobile insurance. Terrible service ever received. I will advise everyone to avoid these scamers. I just wasted my money by paying in full at the time of purchase of my device. I bought insurance with mobile from argos. Don't waste your money from buying insurance at the time of purchasing mobile from Argos.

I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the service you received.

The reason you were asked to contact Samsung is because your plan covers accidental damage, not breakdowns.

You are, however, covered for breakdowns with Samsung under their 12 month manufacturer guarantee.

The terms and conditions on your plan will corroborate this.

Samsung Galaxy A32 5G

I bought Samsung galaxy A32 5G in July 2021. The screen went dark, can't see anything. It was not broken or damaged. I called Samsung as device was still in warranty. DPD collected and delivered to TMT First repair. I got email from TMT First repair quoting £94 repair cost for replacement LCD, even device was within warranty. I received device after repair. I tried to setup device but lcd touch screen was not functional. I requested for refund. I was told by TMT First repair that I need to send back the device so that they can check whether lcd is not functional. I'm calling every day but TMT First repair is continuously having same answer that waiting for technician to check the device. I paid the cost, device was not repaired, waiting for refund. Nothing is happening. I'm recording all correspondence as I know it will lead to court as I will get refund through my bank. Very disappointed repair experience. Stay away from Samsung and from TMT First repair. Samsung didn't responding after booking collection for repair. Never but Samsung products and never use TMT First repair service.

Thank you for providing this feedback. Please accept my apologies for your experience here. It is very rare that devices are dispatched and have to come back to us as our outbound quality check is rigorous to prevent this from happening. On occasions we have to disappoint customers due to a device not passing this test, but we strive to get it right first time.

I will be passing on this feedback within the business as a repeat repair customer this took longer than expected and I recognise the frustration this can cause.

I hope you are happy with your second repair and your device is back in its full working condition.
