SAMSUNG DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM BECAUSE WHEN IT GOES WRONG, THEY WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.
I purchased a a washing machine directly from Samsung, which cost me £1,000 on the website, it said comes with a 5 year guarantee. I bought this in May, the 10th 2023. I have a problem with a machine. It is leaking and they have told me that my warranty is out of date even though the receipt clearly shows 5 year guarantee in black highlighted letters. They inform me it was a promotional offer and that I had to register the machine. I register machine recipe direct. But apparently I had to register it with a third party company to guarantee the extra three years and there was no mention it was a promotional event.All that I had to register at a third party website. I called them on Saturday again on Sunday. Send email monday today.They ask me to send them a video of the problem.Which I didI am a vulnerable adult with brain damage.I am unable to read and write as I talk into my phone to do the spelling. And writing for me, they then email me back saying please, could you convert it to mov format as they were unable to view it. I didn't know what an mov format was. I had to get someone to help me convert it. Then they said, please, could I send them proof of purchase to which I have done? They said they would fix it. The email I just got says we will be in touch for the next 24 hours. No, word of repair, no word of someone coming round absolutely disgusting. I would never buy anything from Samsung ever again. They falsely advertised to people, and they rip people off a big company like that, unable to convert the file themselves yet. I have to do it. It's disgusting when you buy something with a 5 year guarantee. You expect it to have a 5 year guarantee? Not a 2 year guarantee with a 3 year. Supposedly promotional guarantee that was supposed to be activated within 90 days. I activated the guarantee on their website. You would think that would activate the guarantee, wouldn't you? So if you're thinking on buying of anything from Samsung, I would highly recommend that you DO NOT PURCHASE as they will not honour their WARRANTY. And they are a RIP OFF company under the consumer rights act. They have to repair a machine for 6 years of the date of purchase. For any defects from their materials, it is simply the draw that is leaking from the washing machine. They told me if it is from my own fault which it is not. I will have to pay a £150 pound to the engineer. I live off benefits. I paid for this washing machine over instalments. And now I'm left with a broken machine. And a machine with no warranty even though it clearly states 5 year guarantee on my receipt, which was purchased direct from their website. I WOULD NEVER BUY nothing from them ever again. And I advise you TO NEVER TO BUY FROM SAMSUNG. as they are complete liars. Completely unhelpful and have made it as awkward as possible. From the moment I contact them trying to waggle their way out of it absolute joke.You should be ashamed of yourself.Samsung. and by the looks of it, I'm not the only customer who you refused to honour a five-year warranty. "Samsung" I'm awaiting your call to repair my machine, as i have sent you the video of the problem and I have sent you the receipt and proof of purchase.. You are obliged to repair it, under the consumers rights act.
