It's been two weeks since Dr Deniz operated on me and gave me a gastric sleeve. I have lost 5kg (11lb). I feel perfectly fine, everything is healing well.

the hospital was great. Loads of space, super friendly nurses and staff. Burcin was my medical coordinator and she was absolutely brilliant, she organised everything for me and provided me a lot of reassurance.

Victor was waiting at the hospital for me when I arrived, and he helped me navigate for all my tests and translated everything for me, he was brilliant. Absolutely wonderful gent.

If I had to go back and consider doing this again, I would 100000% do it. I was terrified, but actually I was in really good hands.

Thank you Dr Deniz, Victor, Burcin, all the nurses on floor 4, the dietician and everyone. It will really change my life for the better.

I had gastric sleeve surgery recently and needed a liquid "complete nutrition" package to make sure I hit not only protein goals but also needed to make sure I wasn't lacking in vitamins and minerals.

My housemate was using Huel (the diet 200cal shake powder and some packet meals) and and did really well.

I got the vanilla matcha flavour one but I have also been using some of his chocolate one and I think I will stick with these two for some time, because they taste amazing. Obviously it fills me up, I can just about manage 200ml at the moment but it's nice to know I can get everything I need from these.

Even when I transition onto food, I still think it will be something I will have in the mornings because it's just so nice.

I decided to go with GIH after seeing stellar results from someone I work with. She recommended speaking with Burcin who would orchestrate the whole process of having a gastric sleeve with Dr Deniz.

The whole process so far has been really easy, my medical coordinator, Burcin, has been super helpful and available to me throughout the process.

My surgery is booked in for the week of the 26th of Feb Can’t wait to sleeve this life behind.

It’s just nice and easy. Good to know there is help available in case of emergencies, but the good thing is it doesn’t push you back into a payday loan type of cycle. This one allows you the freedom to leave because of how it’s set up. This is how payday lenders SHOULD have been.

I could write a two page document on how fantastic and wonderful they are and it would all be true but nobody would read all of it so I will keep this short.

Sam, Rob, and Angela are brilliant.

We are buying a house that’s valued at 240,000 but the actual cost for us will be over half a million with the interest included. Cuckoo do broadband right.

It’s January. I (stupidly) went on holiday in January knowing it’s 600 weeks until payday and I was in a panic when my first bill with cuckoo was due to come out. It was due a day before my payday meaning it would have bounced so hard leaving a massive dent on my record. All I did was email them and ask for help and they, like absolute angels, put up no fuss, no stress, just helped me out and moved the date till after payday.

Here’s the thing. Had I been with my previous provider I would have been met with a complicated telephone system, that probably would have cut me off, a staff member who didn’t really care to help, and procedures that are rigid and not very customer centric.

I’m only a eggling with cuckoo, being with them less than a month but already I can see their value.

I’m due to buy a house and having a negative record could have been a huge problem. So I appreciate all the help they gave me. This is why I’m going to stay with cuckoo.
