UNRELIABLE. WONT BUY AGAIN AND PLEASE AVOID ESPECIALLY IF THE ORDER IS FOR CELEBRATION/OCCASION.
Paid for nominated delivery as the cheese ordered was for a birthday celebration. Orders arrived 3 days late. When I tracked the order I noticed they dispatched it on the day it supposed to arrive at my address, so theres definitely a mix up. They issued a refund for the nominated delivery fee but thats about it. No apology or explanation or anything. They just doesnt care basically.

Made a HUGE mistake following my estate agent recommendation to use this company (they get £380 REFERRAL FEES/COMMISSIONS from PPL thats why they recommended this company.)

Conveyancer- Very slow to do the job, cannot be reached over the phone 80% of time, seldomly replies to email, I basically chased the relevant authorities to get hold of required documents e.g S106,S38,S104, building reg cert, completion cert. I was also asked to send the contents and fitting form 4-5x very unorganised.

Company itself-Lots of charges without explanation before charging customers. Electronic transfer fee is free in the UK but charging £40 + VAT for each transaction. I was charged x3 of this (Mortgage bank, help to buy and for transfering the money to my account)
-Also tried to charge me £75 per year for retention fee which is not stated that itll be per year charge in their extra charges list.
-On the estimate will say £0 mortgage fee but will charge £150 once you agreed in their terms and condition. Why say £0 at the start when obviously I told them the house is being sold under mortgage?

-maybe dont accept lots and lots of workload and ending up affecting customers by not being able to cope up with the required job. In the end the customers are the one suffering and ending up doing their job for them as the conveyancer in my situation caused unnecessary drag on the sale considering my sale should’ve been straightforward as no chain both sides. When I noticed that its been almost 2 months without progress with my sale and seem like she dont want to lift a finger to obtain the required documents, I literally have to chase all concerned authority to get hold all the documents required and Voila! after just less than a week I managed to get all documents and spoonfed to her. The audacity to charge me £145 for expedition fee is utterly disgusting.
