After my review I was contacted by Martyn at IRL shop. He explained that they are having troubles with their mailing service and are hoping to get their socials up again for updates. I do genuinely believe they are trying their best in this situation to do all they can :)





Ordered from the Australian store 26th of may with express shipping as I'm going to Canada soon. I got no confirmation email. After a week went by I sent them an email asking what happened, they said they were waiting for the merch to arrive to the Australian warehouse and it would be sent out on the 15th of June. (It wasnt.) It is now the 29th of june, I haven't received a confirmation email nor has the package been sent.

I understand these things happen but why have the merch store if not all the warehouses had stock??! Not only that, why not have a warning on the website or let customers know in some capacity.

I'm very disappointed as I leave for Canada in a week and won't be back in Australia for 3 months 💔 i just ordered two shirts that were "in stock"

I ordered two bras from WKD and I love the look of them! (the cc41 style and their other 40s style bra) I am giving 4 stars as the bra was too small despite measuring (the size I measured from their chart was also my regular bra size - so I did not think anything would be wrong) the cup size is fine so with some bra extenders the bras fit fine. They are made well however I am worried about how they will hold up in the long term, especially considering a bra is worn all day. They seem fragile but again I will have to wait and see

I also have a girdle from them, and it is amazing, it is very comfortable and i have no complaints :)
They have great customer service too; their team is lovely.

I own a good handful of pieces from the seamstress of bloomsbury and I adore them all. I especially love their rayon fabric that they use, it makes it feel more authentic, and it sits lovely on me - everything they make is very flattering to the body :)! These dresses are just like my true vintage dresses from the 40s and I love it. My only issue is that on two dresses that I have purchased - the hem is very uneven (swoops down randomly at the side) but it is not a hard fix if you know how to sew

Memery have such amazing shoes, if I had the money I would buy them all. I own four pairs, and they are all so lovely. As someone who dresses in 1940s fashion every day, it is nice to have these shoes as they are so comfortable yet still look very authentic :)
