The flight it self was quite good…
The flight it self was quite good however we’ve waited nearly 3 years to finally get on our pleasure flight at a cost of over £400 for the the two of us. This was due to bad weather cancellations closing the original location 2 miles from where we live and moving it 30 miles away and very low availability every time we tried to book. It’s a lot of money for a 25 minute flight. Plus everyone on our flight had to wait at least a year before they managed to get on our pleasure flight. So think carefully and read the reviews before you book.
After reading your reply I stand steadfast with my original review and since then I’ve read other people’s reviews and comments who agree with me. You should call your company nightmare 001 for putting most of through hell rather than the adventure you so happily charge us for and put through.
I’d like to set the record straight by saying in the first 12 months there were no booking slots available from our chosen pick up point after continually looking on your site every month. Then you insisted we extend the vouchers for our flights and have the cheek to charge us £51 for the year extension we had 2 vouchers for 2 people myself and my partner the total cost was £450 don’t try to wriggle your way out of the real issue here which that your company provides terrible service when booking this kind of adventure. You rent the pilots and the helicopters services thank god. Clever words and twisting the truth can’t hide the facts. You need to look a little closer at your reviews.

We were surprised by the one-star rating and would like to clarify a few points to ensure the circumstances are accurately represented.
Your voucher was purchased directly from Adventure 001 on 14 December 2022 for £245 and added to our booking portal shortly afterwards. At the time and throughout the 2023 flying season, there was availability across multiple locations and availability notifications were issued inviting you to book.
Our records show that your online account was not accessed for an extended period following registration. As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, monitoring voucher validity and securing availability sits with the voucher holder. As no booking was made within the original validity period, you chose to extend your voucher for the applicable fee of your.
In December 2023, you booked a flight for May 2024, which you later amended to August 2024. That flight was postponed for operational reasons. As clearly stated at booking, helicopter flights are weather and safety dependent, and postponements can occur when conditions are unsuitable. Operational locations may also vary due to factors outside of any customer’s control.
A subsequent booking for May 2025 proceeded as planned, and we note your comment that the flight itself was “quite good”, which we are pleased to hear.
For clarity, the total amount paid was £245, not “over £400” as stated. While we fully understand this is a considered purchase, it is important that figures quoted are accurate for the benefit of others reading the review.
You were offered multiple opportunities to complete your experience across a wide range of locations and dates and the flight itself was delivered successfully when conditions allowed. We are confident that the record speaks for itself.

Our records do not support the claim that there were no booking slots available during the first 12 months. Availability notifications were issued during that period and bookings were open across multiple locations. While we appreciate that preferred dates or venues may not always align immediately, this does not equate to there being no availability at all.
At no point were you “insisted” to extend your vouchers. Extensions are optional and only required when a voucher has not been booked within its original validity. The extension fee applied reflected two vouchers, and this was clearly displayed at the time. Extensions are a standard mechanism to preserve voucher value beyond the original term, not a penalty.
For clarity, our records confirm the original purchase price was £245 not £450. Stating otherwise does not change the transaction history recorded at the point of sale.
It is also incorrect to suggest that Adventure 001 merely “rents” pilots or aircraft in a way that absolves us of responsibility. All flights are operated under strict aviation regulations, using approved aircraft which we own and licensed pilots, with safety and operational oversight remaining paramount to everything we do.
Finally, we take our reviews very seriously. We successfully fly tens of thousands of passengers each year and the vast majority of feedback reflects a professional booking process and a safe, enjoyable experience. Where issues do arise, they are typically linked to weather dependency, availability at peak times, or delayed booking rather than service delivery on the day.
We stand by the service provided and the facts as documented.

My initial review is still below bottom paragraph. However after speaking to the company director he has assured me that the administration team I was dealing with is no longer with the company I would like to thank him for contacting me and also add that initially when I read most of the reviews the work that making energy greener undertook was highly praised for it’s quality and professionalism.

I wouldn’t even give them 1 star their communication is terrible no one in the office seems to know what the other person is doing they kept asking for the same information that we had already sent again and again. Why Scottish Power entrust them to there customers I have no idea. Take a tip from me to insulate an average house costs about £250 to £300 do it yourself and save yourself the hassle of dealing with these cowboys. They’ll send in consultants then charge the government and the tax payer for thousands of pounds then tell you they can’t do the work anyway.
