Holiday Travel Insurance... We paid over £800 for a travel insurance product. Unfortunately, I ruptured my Achilles and perineal tendons, December 2024. Reconstructive surgery was advised by the specialist in NZ. AXA refused to assist on the grounds it was safe for me to return to the UK for treatment. It took until Dec 25 for me be triaged by the NHS and I have an appointment to see a specialist in June 26. In the meantime my uneven gait has caused spine, hip and knee problems, which now require treatment in their own right! My physical fitness has been impaired along with my mental health. My broker and underwriter lobbied on my behalf, but to no avail. Clearly, profit comes before people with this outfit.

It worked as advertised. Simple to set up and efficient to use.
