Overpriced and terrible quality product. Deducted £26 from the refund on my return for a £85 dress. Avoid this company.

I asked before purchasing about the delivery costs. It appears when I already made the purchase there were still extra costs. I couldn’t return the item because I already lost the shipping costs ( they don’t refund that ) I paid 3 times the items worth !!
Don’t bother…
Considering I was over in the UK, I was well aware how long shipping would take. What they failed to note anywhere CLEARLY on the website was the massive customs charge that they are not responsible for. Paying £83 extra just so I could get the bloody thing here was not on my itinerary today. If I had any confidence that they would issue me a refund and just send the things back, I would have. But since reading some reviews, that’s likely not going to happen. As a business owner myself, I could never even contemplate scamming customers like this by failing to mention every detail of how difficult your order will be. Customers put their trust in you with their money, and you have a duty to provide an easy and honest service as they are giving you business. One thing I’ve gained is I will never not look at the small print or FAQ’s again. Anyway, this is just SHEIN thats been rebranded well.
Don’t waste your money
Quality is absolutely atrocious for the price. All the items smell of heavy chemicals and seem to fall apart after a few washes. Other items I attempted to return and was unable to due to extremely strenuous return policies. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Poor quality clothing
I purchased a dress, pants w/matching blazer, and a top. Very poor quality. The clothing is see thru. Unfortunately, I did not read the return policy before purchasing and none of the items are eligible for return. I would expect more for the price of the clothing. Very disappointed!

Garbage Service
Ordered a jumpsuit that was very short and had to return it. Not only do they discount your return price but they charge you a lot to ship it back and you have to drive to USPS to drop it off. Also bought a matching belt that they would not accept back. I will not shop here again.
Customer Service is Top Notch
My customer service experience with Mariane was beyond great! She was informative and assured me that a mistake on my part could be remedied in order to get my order in time for an event. I cannot wait to wear my outfit and have a stress free event!

I wouldn't spend my money here again. Sizing varies by item, return policy means that you have to pay $10 for every item you return (if you exchange sizing). Prints are beautiful, but quality/material is mediocre. Just feel like I'm getting scammed/manipulated somehow when I shop here.

I selected the wrong size for an item…
I selected the wrong size for an item that was on sale. All sale items are final and customer service met me with such kindness. It was my own fault selecting that size yet they accommodated me and made sure I was taken care of. The item i did buy was great quality! I will be selecting my correct size and buying again! :)

Brilliant customer service
Brilliant company & customer service. I thought my parcel had gotten lost, so got in contact with 12thTribe (specifically mariane) who was timely in their response and extremely helpful and generous. I cannot fault them! My parcel arrived and the clothes are stunning, great quality and will look fantastic for my 30th birthday!
Definitely shop with them again!
Return nightmare
Bought a few items here from an influencer’s affiliate post, but none of the items fit, so I returned them all. When the time of the return period was coming to an end, I reached out to customer service to check on my return (it had been 16 business days). They told me my return package was missing items so that I would not get my full refund. I know I did not keep any of these items and returned everything, so I had gone back and forth with customer service. I looked up this company on Google and found a plethora of negative reviews about their returns process and claims of “unreturnable” items/overall issues with returns. It was only until I brought this concern up to the customer service agent about all these negative reviews about returns, that they magically “found” the missing items and issued my full return. Overall the experience felt sketchy to me, as there is no reason for me to lie and keep stuff that doesn’t fit. Although the clothes are cute, I would not plan on shopping here if there is a chance you may need to return something. If they can vamp up their returns process, it would greatly help their negative reviews.
12-16 business days for a refund
Dress I bought was beautiful, but runs large. Return process is a nightmare and takes 12-16 business days. They keep pushing to get store credit while waiting. Not a fan.
Avoid unless you’re sure it’ll fit
Dress arrived and while it’s pretty, it is SO short. I guess it’s because their clothes aren’t targeted towards curvier girls. Went to request a return but realized it was a final sale item since there was a promotional discount. I didn’t notice this, probably because of the conversion between USD and CDN. I had actually picked this dress over another since I believed it wasn’t on sale, that way I’d be able to return it.
Customer service was ok… after pushing they did offer story credit, but after paying to ship the item back, and all their clothes will fit the same, store credit seems useless.
Disappointed since the dress is really pretty. Wish it matched the measurements on the size chart.
First time buyer
Recently bought a bachelorette outfit online here and it’s exactly like the picture! The quality is exceptional! I will be ordering again!
Absolute worst
This is by far the worst company I’ve had to dealt with. I ordered one dress from them everything was fine up until this point. I decided to return it and the return process took awhile because they claimed it takes 9-16 business days or whatever to process it. They took the entire maximum of business days to process so I thought something was up. I decided to file a chargeback against them and had my credit card company deal with them. Mind you this purchase happened on 2/10/2024. So after few weeks later my credit card company got back to me with the result of the dispute and the reasoning of it is that 12thtribe claimed my dress was damaged so they were not able to refund me. Like what? Don’t you think you should tell the consumer that’s the case and not leave me hanging and only reply with a reason to my credit company. So then at this point I refiled the dispute because it’s a total scam. I then reached out to them and told me to show proof that the dress was damaged and they provided a picture stating the outside is pristine but the inside has dirt marks. Like where did dirt marks even come from?? i feel like they purposely do this as a tactical scam to consumers so they can not honor them a return. And lo and behold I start doing my own digging and there are many many other reviews stating that this is what they do. Finally after some back and forth they decided to act on good faith and agreed to refund me. I contacted my credit company and had them drop the charges and followed back with 12thtribe every other day or so to see what the status of the refund is. They kept claiming that the chargeback was not dropped so they can’t do anything. They have officially 10 business days to initiate the return after the drop. Fast forward 10 business days later and still no return. So I have no choice but to reopen this case against them. And here we are 4/25/2024 and I’m still fighting this case.
So save yourself the headache and run away if you don’t want to be the bad luck of the draw.
