Very friendly and efficient

I left my wallet on the plane the day I arrived in London. I wrote them an email and a few days later they sent it to my house in Spain, with all the documentation and all the money it contained. In addition to being efficient, they were very friendly throughout the entire process. I am very grateful to First Flight Forwarders.

Josh was fantastic!

I lost my backpack on the way to Guatemala City. It got lost on the flight from Berlin to London. Josh was so helpful, invested and lovely to me throughout the process of trying to get the luggage to me asap. It eventually made it to me. I can’t thank him enough for his effort.

Ipad left on a plane 6 months ago, returned today!

After leaving our iPad on a plane back in August 2025, we never thought we’d see it again. Until this wonderful company emailed me on Wednesday to say they had it!! Vanessa, Grace and Ashley - Can’t thank these people enough for their help. It restores your faith in humanity and I’m so grateful!

I was notified by mail when I didn’t


I was notified by mail when I didn’t even realise where I had lost my wallet. The service was excellent, friendly, and after paying a fairly high fee for postage, however, the parcel arrived overnight instead of up to 5 working days.
I would recommend the service wholeheartedly.

Someone found my case at last!

After getting absolutely nowhere with easyjet and glasgow airport, Mike called out of the blue to say that my case was at Gatwick after going to basel in Switzerland instead of Glasgow! It was swiftly delivered to my home address by DHL. So grateful to Mike for getting in touch with me and glad I put my details on the label.

I find the positive reviews very


I find the positive reviews very difficult to believe. I eventually got a single email from First Flight, 6 weeks after I reported that my cabin bag had been taken from the plane by the passengers sitting in the row behind me (leaving their own bag behind). The email asked me for my telephone number and address. I provided those immediately. I have had no further response, more than another week later. The email said I could use the live chat function in the meantime. I have tried to do so more than 20 times, on consecutive days and at different times. The chat function is never online. I have screenshots of all the unavailable messages. It ought to have been very easy to recover my bag because the other passengers left their own bag and would therefore have wanted to recover their own lost bag

My experience with First Flight Lost


My experience with First Flight Lost Property was very poor. I lost my phone on a plane last year and provided all my personal and device details, following up with them for weeks. At one point, someone asked for my phone passcode, claiming they had found a device and needed to verify it, but later told me it wasn’t mine—even though my phone has clear identifying features.

A year later, I received notifications that my phone had been turned on for several days, yet no one contacted me, even though it was in lost mode with my contact number displayed. I reached out to them and was told that someone had handed in my phone, but all the data had been wiped. I don’t understand on what basis they tried to access it or erase its contents.

They said they would send it back to me, but I had to pay for the shipping, which I did. I eventually received my phone, but I am left with many unanswered questions: Why did they try to unlock it? Why was all the data erased? And why did no one contact me?

Unfortunately, this experience shows a lack of credibility and professionalism.

Tracked Item Still at Stansted Airport — But No One Responds

I recently left an item on board a flight arriving at London Stansted Airport and the experience with the lost property process has been extremely disappointing.
On 13 February 2026, I travelled on Ryanair flight FR9304 from Bratislava (BTS) to London Stansted (STN) and accidentally left my AirPods on board the aircraft. According to standard aviation procedure, items left on board are usually offloaded by the cabin crew and handed to the ground handling agent at the arrival airport.
The tracking location from my device shows that the item remained at Stansted Airport, which strongly suggests it was offloaded and remained within the airport area.
I contacted the company responsible for lost baggage at Stansted, who advised that onboard items are handled by another ground handling company and referred me to them. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from that company. I was also able to review the logged lost items under my reference number, and my item was not recorded.
What is most frustrating is the lack of transparency and communication. Even though the item appears to still be at the airport according to the tracker, there seems to be no clear or responsive process to locate it.
For such a major international airport, the coordination between ground handlers and lost property services should be much more efficient. At the moment, passengers are simply being passed between companies without any resolution.
I hope the airport and the responsible handling companies improve their process for dealing with items left on aircraft, as the current system makes it very difficult for passengers to recover their belongings.

Fast reliable service

Easy form to fill out and report lost item, quick response and friendly chat service. Handled the process efficiently and professionally, found my item, identified it and confirmed it was mine. Payment was then arranged for a courier service to return the item and confirmed to me by email. A truly well organised operation.

Heroes

My luggage never got on the plane in my flight from Berlin to Amsterdam and then onto Birmingham. I believe this wasn’t first flights issue however Mike from the UK team sorted this regardless. KLM and their team were useless but Mike and FirstFlight saved the day. Many thanks!

Appalling customer services

Appalling customer services.
I left some air pods that were gifted by my father on a flight into Stansted on the 2nd August. After contacting this company I was told they were no where to be found. In December I received an email to say they had been located. At the end of January, somebody eventually replied to my email where I had sent my contact details for the return of my item.
I was then told that for my airpods to be returned to me, I would need to pay £25. This cost, however, would not insure the item.
I have emailed for a breakdown of these charges and have had no response at all. It's extortion at it's finest and the customer service and communication is atrocious. If the item did not have sentimental value, I would have nothing further to do with this company.

A great service

Gemma found my golf bag, left behind by Tenerife baggage handlers, swiftly. On the flight the next day, & after some Customs admin couriered to my home a couple of days later. A great service - thanks Gemma!

Found bag

My bag was tagged with the flight of the person before me in the queue for self check-in. Mike identified by bag and got it back to me within a couple of days.
I didn’t find the easyJet personnel overly bothered but Mike at first flight forwarders was great.
