14 Day Cooling Off Period

Every Service Agreement purchased is subject to a 14-day cooling off period. This allows the Service Provider and the Customer to cancel the service agreement without penalty. Please note that any claim submitted within this 14-day period will be subject to a mandatory £95 Excess. If subsequently www.247homerescue.co.uk the Breakdown is deemed to be as a result of an intermittent or pre-existing fault the claim will be declined. In such circumstances a Pay on Use Service is available. The 14-day cooling off period commences from the date of inception of the claim or receipt of agreement whichever is sooner. Provided you have paid your contract fees, we will guarantee that our engineers will conduct one annual service (if this has been purchased), safety and operational check (this will be a Gas Safe recommended service not a manufacturer’s service) in any 12-month period.

I became a member of 24/7 Rescue in


I became a member of 24/7 Rescue in December and recently had several issues with my boiler and bathroom electrics. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.

Regarding my boiler, an engineer visited three separate times but was unable to fix the problem. On each visit, he repeatedly recommended replacing the boiler rather than repairing it, without providing a clear solution. After the third visit, the issue was still unresolved and I was again advised to get a new boiler.

Separately, I reported two bathroom lights not working. The electrician who attended said the transformer had failed and suggested I needed an upgrade. He also mentioned he could do the work privately, as it apparently wasn’t covered by 24/7 Rescue.

Overall, I feel the service focused more on recommending replacements or upgrades rather than resolving the faults I reported. Based on my experience, I would advise others to be cautious and make sure they clearly understand what is and isn’t covered before relying on this service.

Very Good

The engineer was amazing and was very apologetic for the delay.
The constructive feedback is the wait as I had a whole day wait and it showed that the engineer was due between 12 and 3 pm and it changed around 3pm to give me a later slot. Not engineers fault!

I was told the policy had no excess

I was told the policy had no excess, and when the details were emailed over there was an excess , and I called back 3 times and each time I was told it would be sorted but was cut off the line

Nice to deal with and good value

Nice to deal with and good value , just a little upselling which is the norm these days , so yes would recommend, I went for the £95 excess £20 a month fixed for two years , all things covered.
As for the call out service we'll see watch this space , so far so good .
