I am only giving it a 1 because there is no zero!!! Ordered a Viburnum Snowball bush - when it arrived, the pot was FULL of weeds, bone dry and almost every leaf was curled and shrivelled, like it was diseased or infested with green/black fly. Contacted the seller, sending photographs of the leaves and weeds, who said there was nothing g wrong with the plant. I asked for a refund, they refused, I returned the plant using their label, but it did not arrive - courier said they would return to me - which they never did. I paid £13.30 for the return delivery and I now have no plant and no refund. Appalling customer service, terrible quality plants. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

I could not fault my personal experience .ordered a fig tree arrived in 3 working days extremely healthy with the best cardboard and straw packaging ever encountered buying online.

Two dwarf pear trees (bare roots) ordered. No protection for trees: wrapped in sheet of polythene. Delivery company lost and then found the package weeks later. Told Beechwood Nurseries about condition of one tree. Told it would be fine in the spring. Tree hasn't survived. Two trees are needed for pollination. Other tree won't fruit now. Emailed but no reply.

Don't expect any empathy or proffesionalism from their (lack of) customer service if something goes wrong with your order!! Their replies are so unprofessional. I didnt read the external reviews before placing an order, I only saw good reviews on their website! And when I contacted them about an issue with my order, they were unprofessional, it was only then I decided to check their reviews and was shocked to see how bad they are.

I told them the plant they sent me looked dead. They said their stock hadn't broken dormancy and i decided to give it a chance. It was dead though and when I asked for a refund, word for word this was their hilarious reply "Stop being such a little prick and man up. You ticked the box to agree to our terms and conditions when you placed the order, and this included to you agreeing to our returns policy. Goodbye!"

Ordered a dwarf bareroot plum tree 4/4/26 received in time stated reduced price as it was coming to the end of the season (I guess) Tips of and buds were brown when opened. Soaked it as instructed. Messaged them on the 24/5 as no new growth at all anywhere. I was asked to send photos of which I did. They promptly replied stating “ The bark is stopping the tree from absorbing the moisture needed to establish the roots in new ground. It has dried out sadly.”

This is planted in compost mix from the garden centre and what was seen as “bark” was in fact pieces of dead compost material (leaves). Also bark can be used in the garden to lock in moisture and to keep out weeds. This was also regularly checked to see if it needed watering as parts of my watering routine in the garden. Further photos sent and explained their response was inadequate. 4/6 - removed tree from the pot and no new roots developing and in the same state as I received it. I’ve had no response back from them.

Personally I wish I checked reviews as I can see this is a common theme.

AVOID this company! I wanted to give zero stars. The tree I ordered arrived damaged with snapped smaller stems and one of the three main branches completely snapped. It had suffered during transit as was wilting and had some brown leaves too. I contacted the company and they were unreasonable. Their 'customer service' is poor. They advised they "do not provide returns labels for unwanted healthy orders".

The order was from healthy and therefore was not as described on their website. I have been back and forth with them in complaint emails and I've now raised it with my credit card provider.

More bad experience. Peach tree arrived dead. Company did not acknowledge let alone respond to complaint. No refund given. No apology received. Shameful business practice.

Unfortunately I have become victim to this company’s appalling service and after sales. Having previously had trees from them in the past I let go the fact that some were obviously DOA as the prices were lower than others. However my last delivery in Dec 25 for 10 bare root maples was an absolute joke. I only received 4, 2 of which I had to prune in half as the tops were dead. The other lot included 5 Rowan and one briar rose. I’ve had ONE response asking did I take a photo when they arrived to which I replied ‘why would I?’ And nothing else. I am going to report them to Trading Standards for NI.
I would suggest using someone else for your plants. Terrible, uncaring service.

I ordered a walnut and it got sent out and took over a week to come. I emailed the company and they said there was a 2 week span of l8fe before it will die as it was bare rooted. I've been nursing the tree (we are tree experts and have extensive knowledge with trees) but to no avail. This was dead on arrival.
I am very disappointed :(

Terrible company!Bought dwarf Morello from them in March 2026, arrived in bad condition with awful packaging, contacted company with plenty of photos and was told that it would be growing fine. Had no choice,but hoped for the best and planted it following all instructions. 2 months later the tree is completely dead!No new leaves or new buds, all branches are dry and dead inside. Contacted company again last week with photos and explanation and requested the refund. No reply,complete ignore. Went on their website last night to put the review on, submitted it , but it has never got published. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Out of 4 fruit trees bought none are bearing fruit. Contacted customer service suggested weren't planted correctly; very unlikely as instructions followed thoroughly.

Should have read these reviews not the website ones clearly false!
Placed an order they all have arrive battered and bruised and look like they were stuffed into the pots on packaging day
Poorly packaged and I would have got better at a local nursery these all look like they should be in the hospital part as they don’t look that healthy!

Never again and their attitude towards a the main stem isn’t broken! Wow thanks guys!

They send out very expensive dead twigs and good luck trying to get a refund they treat you like idiots do not buy from this company unless you like throwing your money away

Ordered a morello tree in March and planted it on the day of arrival. The quality of this tree is very poor. It is still alive but only two branches are showing leaf growth. I shall give it a year to see if it improves but shall not use this company again. Really disappointing.

Bought a butterfly bush , buddleja it took ages to arrive , emailed no response, when it did arrive full of disease ( downy mildew) had to destroy! Complete waste of money , they may be cheaper but there is clearly a reason for it - selling s**t plants !

I ordered 25 Photinia red robin and a buddleia bush, the plants were in transit for 11 (eleven) days and when opened the Buddleia was dead and only 13 red robin were salvageable. I contacted Beechwood and supplied photos of the unusable plants. Despite the photos showing the damage to the plants Beechwood said the plants were OK and refused a part refund. This company has the worst customer service I have ever encountered and really do not give a damn once they have their money. Shocking !! Buyer definitely BEWARE!!

Awful plants & awful communications. Avoid like the plague

Ordered a Large Fig Tree in a 5lt pot , delivered earlier than expected . Pot was half empty with loose compost , tree was barely 25cm tall with just 2 branches both going off to one side , anything growing on the other side broken off some time before . Very disappointing for the price £39.99 !
Customer services rude and unhelpful.

I placed an order - then read reviews and wished I hadn’t.

Then out of the blue, a week later, my plants arrived. They were great and well packaged. I’m really pleased and will definitely order again from them.

The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is that there was no acknowledgment of my order, and I spent that week wondering if I’d ever get any plants.
