I went to charge my 2 sidekicks
I went to charge my 2 sidekicks, mini solar generators, and they would not charge. So when being threatened with power failures due to ice storms, the purpose in having the sidekicks was lost when they did not work.
Customer service went out of their way. To let me know that they were not going to take responsibility to repair or give me a refund. They even had the audacity to ask me for the last name of the person who sold me the products.
How the heck would I know.
I tasted some of their foodbit was horrible so Ibthrew it away.
Now I'm debating if there was any point at all into buying their twenty five year food because i'm not sure it lasts for twenty five years.I'm not sure it lasts for a year. Customer service also gives you a false sense of superiority. When they talk to you and they're telling you that they're going to try and fix the matter.But they've no intentions of it.
They are absolutely are not living up to the standard of trust that we placed in them when we purchased their products instead of somebody else's.
Don't buy their products any of them. They're horrible and they don't work

When you prepare for potential power outages, you should be able to rely on your equipment with confidence. We understand how upsetting it must have been to discover your Sidekick units wouldn’t charge when you needed them.
Charging issues can sometimes stem from the outlet source, charging cable, battery protection mode, or storage conditions — but regardless of the cause, you should never feel brushed off when seeking help. We’re also sorry if any part of the interaction — including being asked for sales details — came across as frustrating or unnecessary. That question is typically asked to help locate the order in our system, but we understand how that could feel unreasonable from your perspective.
Regarding the food products, we stand behind our long-term storage standards when items are stored properly. Taste is, of course, subjective, but quality and shelf-life claims are backed by testing and packaging standards. If you received anything that seemed off, we would absolutely want to look into that.

Do lots of research on solar generators before buying!
My wife read to me the review by the electrical engineer, and our 1800w generator had the same problem. AC inverter was shot. So we wrote customer service, and they basically said nothing they could do, take it to a shop. I was telling my wife, the proper thing those scammers should have done, not necessarily replace our unit—I think it was $2000, if memory serves me—but to give us a discount of what we paid, towards a new generator, and we would have paid the difference. They refused it. What we should have done was read the reviews before we bought anything from them. I am disgusted because they use the word “patriot” in their name, and being a Vietnam veteran, I thought it was a legit company that we could trust. Unfortunately we got scammed.
If you by any chance have any problems with yours, and you live in the same city that company is located, you can go to the small claims court. Our small claims court in Texas will cover up to $5000 that we can make a claim on, and what’s required for us, after we apply to the court, send them a registered letter, giving them 14 days to ratify your claim with the company. And if they don’t, you can seek litigation with them at the small claims court. You can get a lawyer to represent you or you can represent yourself. Now here in Texas, if you don’t hear from them in 14 days, the small claims court can put a lien on their second property until they reimburse or ratify the situation. So if you live in the same town, don’t discredit this situation. Small claims courts can help you. Just have them send a registered letter to the main CEO of 4Patriots. I hope that your courts are the same as ours. I’ve used them in the past, and it worked to my favor. My consolation though they screwed us, is that God knows what they did, lol, and they’re going to answer to him for it.

They sell a BATTERY as a generator when it does not produce charge it just stores it, the solar panels charge the battery.. fine solar / battery system NOT a generator.

1st off I was a sucker for the newest…
1st off I was a sucker for the newest 2500x! 2nd the solar panels are the worst I've ever used! My little 300 power has a better solar panel than 4Patriots, and no, it's not a 4Patriots.
Both panels together have never given me 200w's NEVER, the most I've seen 75w's, that's BS. As for no sun, then no wattage, Um, it said even without sun it would still give something.
I have searched high and low for reviews not connected to 4Patriots and really this is the only place I found and it's still attached to 4Patriots.
The solar panels suck, but I do love the generator.

No electricity
A stellar product. You don't have to plug it in. It works by gravity. You fill it, the water goes through the filters, and you have clean water. You replace the filters once a year. It was about $300.00 dollars without the filters. The filters are about $79.00 a piece. Yes they are pricey, but worth it. I plan on buying a stainless steel jug to put water in. In case shit hits the fan, I'm ready. I stock food as well. I am very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the gold survival kit with…
I purchased the gold survival kit with the 1200W power generator 5 months ago. When it was time to test and possibly use the generator this weekend during the ice storm my generator didn’t work. I was told it was defective and needed to be replaced. How disappointing, so I asked for a refund to return the generator, because last minute I needed to purchase another power source and was told it was outside of the 90 day warranty. It worked when I received it 5 months ago, but when I need it to work for the first time, it’s outside of the return policy window. And I’m still making payments. Just not right. I have 2 stars because the other items in my kit are handy.

Decent MREs, skip the expensive of their generators. It's a very expensive boat anchor or door weight.
Back in 2022 I purchased one of the early solar generators thinking I was spending $2,000+ with a company who cared in providing quality products to families looking to take care of themselves when things get rough. Their MREs are decent, so thought maybe the solar generator would be as well. The solar attachments never worked from the beginning but I was told by customer service I was probably installing it wrong. I plugged the unit it and charged it. Used it once for 20 minutes, and then in preparation for the most recent storm, pulled it out, charged it (took 7 hours), drained it (took 20 minutes running a 1400kwH heater) and while recharging it, the battery only got 1/2 way, and the unit stopped charging. The customer service once again said "not our problem, you're outside your 1yr warranty." For a piece of junk. Wish I had read more reviews. Praying others read reviews before having their own $2,000 learning experience.

I have had their power block for barely over a year and it's already failing to work. Of course their warranty is 365 days, they know their products do not work well.

Generators do not work
First portable generator lasted 30 minutes and died. The replacement, in which they couldn't get the shipping address correct after several calls, won't even turn on. We're sending it back permanently. This company has such bad products that I am surprised that they are still in business. Do not buy anything from them.

Model 1800 generator died, 4pats will not provide schematics of internals to allw repair!
I have a model 1800 generator that i used with an appliance that was advertised to consume only 1600 watts, well within the 1800 watt max adverstised for this generator. AC Output failed with red alarm lights over output. Tech support from 4patriots says the even though the appliance rating power consumption says it should only be 1080 watts, the unofficial power consuption could be as high as 2500 watts, which means I probably fried the output circuitry of the generator. As an electrical engineer, I could debug this and fix it but 4patriots refuses to release internal schematics on the unit. Their recommendation is to take it to a repair shop and have them try to fix it, even though they refuse to documet the internal circuitry. Not sure how a repair shop will repair this without schematics. Beware! Appliance ratings are not always accurate and 4Patriots are not really interested in solving customer issues (yeah, its out of warranty but I expeted more from their technical support team other than "it broke, live with it". Time to look at alternative power solutions other tha 4Patriats for my survival needs. Buyer beware!

Don't Use this company
I ordered the buy 3 month get 2 month free meal kits.
i opened the container to find punctured bags and food all over the container. I started checking bags and came across over 30 bags hard as a rock and a handful of bags from 2022. I started doing the water test on the mylar pouches only to find a good portion of bags were not sealed. Almost 80% of bags have hard as a rock lumps in them. Been trying for two weeks to return and get replacements only to be redirected to different email addresses and nothing but promises by phone. All the bags were dated 2024. Check all your bags there throwing in old food with spoiled food in hopes you wont check them.Im done trying to get reimbursements but i will report this to the BBB.

Getting ready for coming ice storm and my 15-month-old generator will not work. And company representative says it is defective with the symptoms it has. Not in warranty and no help. I regret working with this company and out a lot of money,

4 Patriots ripped us off for $7000
We bought a $7000,00 freeze dryer 2 years ago with a 3 year warranty. Has not worked correctly in 3 months. Have spent countless hours on the phone and email with them. They have had us perform all kinds of tests, which we did, and sent them the results. We are currently on our 4th customer service person, who just sent us an email saying that we should find someone to come look at it. No recommendation, and in looking around, we could find no one who works on freeze dryers. Of course we'd have to pay, even if we could find someone to work on it. They no longer sell them, and won't tell us who manufactured it for them. Even if we could find someone to work on it, they probably couldn't get the parts from 4 Patriots since they don't sell them anymore. Even though it's still under warranty.
DON'T TRUST 4 PATRIOTS FOR ANY EQUIPMENT THEY SELL
Update: 1 week after posting this review, we were contacted by ANOTHER customer service rep. After talking with them, they agrred to a partial refund of $3105.50. We just feceived the check on 1/29/26. It was very helpful because it entirely covered the cost of our new Bkue Alpine freeze dryer that works incredibly well. Should have bought that in the first place.

They showed pictures, but not what they pictured!
They showed pictures, and advertised food for two months in my order. I received 8 pkgs each of rice, pancake mix, oatmeal and creamy rice and vegetable dinner, plus 3 vanilla pudding, 4 mac and cheese and 8 assorted dinners, adding up to about $100. The total cost was $295.34. I was assured I could return it if I wasn't satisfied. When I tried to return it, they said I had to pay return shipping. At about 50 lbs. per box x 2 I can barely imagine what that will be! More than disappointed, I believe it's a fraud!

This company is a very deceptive…
This company is a very deceptive company I should have read the reviews on this website before getting involved. I place an order for over $500 in products only to find out that it was going to take a minimum of two weeks to receive them. I needed it fairly quickly. I have been trying to get a refund for a week and they are dragging their feet so I have $500 tied up somewhere that I can't get back. Forget customer service there is none. Don't try the phone number expecting to speak to someone you will be on hold forever. Just punch the number seven and wait for them to text you. You will have to go through an AI first. I also fell for the word Patriot thinking it was a us-based company selling products made in the USA. They got my money who knows when I'll get it back. Do not do business with them you will be very sorry.

RIP OFF ALERT!!!! Stay away. This is an "advertising" company, NOT a product company. And they are MISLEADING with the name, there is nothing "patriotic" about them! The generator can't even be considered a toy. It will NOT supply power as the claim in their commercial. It is a piece of JUNK.

Beware! 4Patriots is a Fake!
*STUPID ME* for not researching the Internet Feedback on 4Patriots..
Later learned that the internet is *Flooded with negative feedback and Horror Stories!
Please DO NOT get Suckered into this scam!
This company attempts to pass themselves off as a *Small Family Business* looking out for the *All American Working Man* !
Im Sorry but This is 100% Online Scam!
My Order Number was generated as ----#10770105 ----
But I *Never Ordered Their Products!
I Never Submitted / Confirmed order and yet they Grabbed my credit card info/retained my credit card info, then chose to Order for me lol!
This company only sends Spam emails to my email address and No Alleged Product!
We are contacting the bank / Set Claim as Fraud!
Please Share this with Everyone in order to prevent more victims of this scam company.
They Offer All Kinds of Crazy Props.

4Patriots is a U.S.-based company, and we take allegations of unauthorized orders and fraud extremely seriously. Orders cannot be placed without customer input, and we do not access or “retain” credit card information outside of a secure, encrypted checkout process.
That said, if an order was created without your knowledge, this may indicate a checkout error, a shared device issue, or unauthorized use of payment information — all of which we are more than willing to investigate promptly.

Product sucked, trying to return for months. They forget to send labels, sent them weeks apart when they did, sent to the wrong address, not acknowledge they screwed up. Worst shopping experience of my life.
