For many years now
For many years now, Abbeygate has provided all our insurance needs. Even the none standard requirements is not a problem and there prices are excellent value, even better is they have a personal touch and not just an email exchange, no other words other than FIRST CLASS

Sandra at Abbeygate is wonderful
Sandra at Abbeygate is very efficient, helpful, caring and reliable. She is the one I call if I have any insurance queries or if I need any help and she always comes through with what is needed. I would highly recommend her service at Abbeygate to ex-pats in Portugal who need a reassuring and helpful hand.

Great service and I recommend Abbeygate Insurance.
Lyndsey made it so easy to choose the options between 3rd party cover and fully comprehensive cover that it was simple to proceed and make the payment for my annual renewal.
Lyndsey made it so easy to choose the right option.
Later in the week I had issues with the repair to my other vehicle insured with Abbeygate and I called Lyndsey for advice and she took note of the issue and took it upon herself to deal with the issue directly and called me back later in the day with a full answer.
This is great service and I recommend Abbeygate Insurance.

Fast, friendly and efficient service. I have been using Abbeygate for my bike and car insurance for the past 4 years and have found them to be courteous and helpful. They also ring with reminders at just the right moment!

House Insurance
Having insured through Abbeygate Insurance for at least the last 6 years, I recently renewed our household insurance for our home in Portugal. I was very impressed with the Renewals Supervisor, Lindsey Clewer, who was extremely helpful and efficient. When I queried the 15% increase on the previous year’s policy she immediately did some investigating and came up with a comparable policy, underwritten by Lloyd’s, in English, which actually saved me money. How good is that!!!

Customer service with policy renewal
I have used Abbeygate for 2 years now and have had wonderful service. Fortunately, I haven't needed to contact them for an accident but their customer service staff is always great. I talked with Lindsey Clewer who was helpful, professional, and friendly.

Car Insurance Renewal
I find Abbeygate very professional and they always try to match or better the previous year’s quote. There is also the advantage of having your insurance documents in English, which in case of emergencies can help. Documents are issued online within 24 hrs of the fee being paid.
