Found my favourite furniture store.
Excellent experience with an obviously professional and caring company. From day one to delivery nothing was left to chance and advice always forthcoming. The fact that I live in Suffolk and they are based in Lancashire proved to be no hinderance at all. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I ordered a gas heater TS-2000 at cost…
I ordered a gas heater TS-2000 at cost almost 600EUR and it was shipped from Italy to Denmark as expected. I personally recieved it at my door, but when unpacking it, it had been dropped and the fame was damaged. My well documented claim was refused with the arguments that I had not signed with reservation, and it was possible that it had been dropped after recieving it. Further suggestions from my side to settle the situation was not replied upon, it is clear that this damage seems to be my own problem to fix, not making this an easy and cheap purchase.

I bought a sofa from Abitare in November 2019 and within a couple of months, a button came off! I contacted Abitare immediately and they arranged for the repair company to contact me straight away - and then lockdown happened which meant the repair wasn’t completed until July. I fully accept that this was in no way Abitare’s fault as we are living through unprecedented times where everyone’s work force is under immense pressure. A few weeks ago, another button came off! I contacted Abitare again and they attempted to contact the manufacturer on numerous occasions but received no response from them. However, I have to thank Mary at Abitare for her persistence and eventually the repair company came and carried out the repair. I love my sofa but I am very disappointed with the fact that two buttons have come off in less than a year. I am just glad that I bought it from Abitare and that the persistence of their customer service team, means that the problem is now resolved.

I received amazing customer service whilst visiting the shop over the weekend. The gentleman that assisted me was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and basically couldn't have been more helpful.
I have always been extremely happy with my purchases, have recommended the shop to my friends and family and will definitely return.
Stylish and great quality
Excellent service from Abitare, have ordered a few items for our living room to give it a refresh after spending so many lockdown hours in it already and we're really happy with the quality and style - breathed some much needed new life in to our home!
Shocking experience
Cant believe the service! Ordered sofa in non contrast stitching. It arrived with CONTRAST stitching they ordered a replacement that arrived with CONTRAST stitching was really upset. Then then dyed the stitching of the original sofa without any documentation even when we said NO. We are now stuck with a two seater sofa and a chair that we paid around 2,500 for that wasnt what we ordered! We will not stop to get the matter resolved what ever it takes!

Excellent Service
Wide range of quality furniture on display and sofas delivered within the timeframe promised so, overall, very pleased.
The acid test, however, is how problems are dealt with. One of our sofas had a faulty ratchet mechanism on the armrest. Pleased to say we had an immediate response and the problem was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Thank you Mary.
Absolutely the worst customer service…
Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They completely ignore requests, and when they do respond they actually don't help at all. I have a faulty sofa and they're solution is to add another leg?! After 5 months and still not having the issue fixed, I'm still waiting! I would definitely not recommend, stay clear

Amazing friendly service
Went in yesterday and had a look round after being let down by a couple of sofa places.
The chap we met was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and did what he promised.
Delivered a beautiful corner sofa the next day at a great price. We've order a few other bits off them too. I would highly recommend to anyone this place is a little gem.
Great service
I bought a Fama sofa in clearance. The service was exceptional, the product exactly as described, and the delivery men were great, carrying the sofa up 5 flights of steps. Would definitely order from Abitare again.
Dreadful service
I’ve visited the shop twice to select the chairs i wanted. We got a quote verbally and asked for it to be emailed to us for review. No email arrived so we’ve called at least 4 times. No messages returned and still no quote received! Perhaps they can afford to lose a 2.5k order?! Dreadful service.

Outstanding Customer service
Having been put in a precarious position by another company who left a table outside in the rain with no instructions on how to disassemble, I had no idea what to do.
By chance, I messaged Phillip, who despite not being from the company I bought the table from went at lengths to help me, even getting a delivery driver to explain the instructions to me.
10/10 Customer service, I will be doing most of my future furniture shopping from here, and recommending it to friends and family.
First Class service
First Class service, I called this company to see if they could help me with an item delivered from a company in Italy. They did not deal with this company but took my details and told me they would be able to contact their agent who would get in touch.....what a fabulous company. That is what you call customers service and I will definitely be looking to buy from this company in future.

Wardrobe doors.
We purchased bedroom furniture over 6 years ago and had a problem with the glass doors on the wardrobe. Fortunately the furniture was guaranteed for 10 years. We contacted Abitare and from start to finish they were 100 percent helpful. A big thanks to Mary who organised the repairs. We now have new doors. The customer service is excellent. Thanks to all.

Fantastic customer service and after-sales support
Fantastic customer service as always. We bought a sofa from Abitare about 18 month ago and at Christmas my son managed to break the seat frame. I raised a claim on my household insurance, and the company they passed it on to repair it wanted info on where we got it from and to make their job easier if it was possible to get a ready made part. I contacted Mary who was extremely helpful and advised what was possible and continued to check in with me even though another company was supposed to be sorting it out.

Definitely recommended!
We’re from out of the area and didn’t know anything at all about this store until traced on line but from the first time I rang them and then throughout 2 visits ( plus phone calls and emails also), the staff we encountered, Manager Paul and assistant Greg, were extremely welcoming, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. We found the store to be well stocked, covering various price ranges and competitive in their pricing. There aren’t many of these type of stores around now and service felt friendly, personal and genuine and we recommend the store. ( Not had our order delivered yet ( normal 8/10 week order time) but, hopefully, we will still be singing the store’s praises once we have received delivery of our large purchase! Thank you, Paul and Greg!

spent £3800 on a 3 piece suite, paid cash as well, waited 12 weeks for it to come and when they brought into my house one of the chairs was damaged which I spotted not them,a hole in the leather,they never contacted me whatsoever, I had to keep ringing them to see what was happening, eventually they ordered me a replacement chair,took another 12 weeks to come and I was concerned that the colour might not be the same,they convinced me that it would be a exact match,guess what I've got a different shade of chair compared to the rest of my suite,even over time now it still doesn't match

Replacement feet
Needed to replace 4 plastic feet on a Natuzzi chair bought in 2012. Emailed Abitare at Wigan. Mary Ashworth got right on it and within days had located just what was needed. Arrived by post in no time and I fitted them into the chair same day. Excellent service all round. Big thank you Abitare.
