we wanted a sofa to match one that we'd bought from MultiYork - but they had gone into administration. - we thought we wouldnt get anything sorted - then i came across Abitare on a search engine. Needless to say the customer service was second to none, the sofa was from Italy and Phil and Zoe made sure we were kept up to date on progress.
Unfortunately over a year later i had a problem with one of the electric recliners- i contacted Abitare and Mary stepped in and seamlessly sorted it out - ordering parts from Italy and ensuring that Homeserve effected a repair in super fast time.

Would i use Abitare again. Without a second thought - excellent customer service and communication. and to make things better the sofa from Abitare was cheaper than the one from MultiYork

Amazing - 10 years after my purchase!!
I've bought many pieces from Abitare over the years, and purchased a range of bedroom furniture over 10 years ago and the sliding door on the wardrobe broke. I was obviously willing to pay to get it fixed as it was over 10 years old but needed their expertise as it was a complicated unit. They took the problem on themselves and asked the question of the original suppliers who arrived within a couple of days to remove the sliding door (as in their opinion it could be dangerous) and they then replaced the doors with brand new doors FREE OF CHARGE - I am blown away with this level of service - Thank you John and Paul - we will definitely be back.

We have been buying furniture from abitare for over 10 years and would not go anywhere else. Absolutely brilliant for quality furniture at the right price. We recently purchased another corner sofa and can not praise the customer service enough from Mary and the staff throughout, absolutely second to none and well and truly above and beyond. We will not go anywhere else...thanks again Abitare, and thanks again for all your help Mary.

We are delighted with our new Natuzzi sofas, and with the excellent customer service received at Abitare, and also the very efficient and pleasant delivery men. The sofas arrived sooner than expected and we were also leant a very nice sofa whilst we awaited our order. We would certainly recommend Abitare, Wigan.

Definitely wont be buying anything else from Abitare or any Natuzzi products in the future after this experience! Poor Costumer service and some unprofessional staff.
My brand new sofa arrived as shown in the photos. We decided to go to the store to check the one in Abitare (in mustard colour) which definitely did not look like the one in my living room. The sales man advised the best thing to do is to 'smooth it out' every time you stand up! After several minutes of discussion he finally arranged a technician to come to my house to check the sofa. The Technician advised that he will have to stretch the leather and 'simply re-staple' my brand new sofa in my living room. Clearly we weren't happy with this solution and found this totally unacceptable as this was a brand new piece of furniture which wasn't cheap. This was dragging on for another few weeks and of course everybody was saying there is nothing wrong with the sofa and 'every leather is different'. They then agreed to take the sofa back to the store and fix it there. The sofa now looks they way it should have done in the first place. The embarrassing part was when the salesman in the store admitted that 'they cut too much leather' despite telling us previously there was nothing wrong with the sofa.
Normally when you are dealing with an upmarket company they would provide you some form of apology such as a gift card etc. After all this hassle we did not even receive a VERBAL APOLOGY never mind anything else.
I am very disappointed. My Sister in law nearly purchased a Natuzzi sofa from Abitare a couple of weeks ago however after I shared my experience she decided to go somewhere else. This experience could have been avoided with a sympathetic approach to the problem.

i MUST HAVE BEEN ROUND ABOUT SIX FURNITURE STORES LOOKING AT SOFAS, ALL THE TOP ADVERTIZED ONES, YOU SEE THEM ON TV EVERY DAY, BUT I WAS NOT HAPPY. THE REVIEWS ON THEM WERE REALLY BAD, I WAS NOT CONFIDENT WITH THE SALES PEOPLE AT THE STORES, I FELT THAT SOME TRUST WAS MISSING.
I THEN FOUND ABITARE AT WIGAN, IT WAS A TOTALY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE, I FELT LOOKED AFTER BUT NOT PUSHED INTO BUYING. THEY HAD A BIG SELECTION FOR ME TO SEE AND TRY, I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I MADE THE ORDER RIGHT AWAY. I WILL NOW HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE SOFAS TO COME AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW THE AFTER SALES SEVICE IS, BUT I EXPECT IT TO BE JUST AS GOOD AS IT WAS ON THE FIRST DAY I WENT AND ORDERED THEM.

I can highly recommend this company. Excellent from ordering to delivery. Making my purchase with Abitare saved me a lot of money, Compared to ordering through large stores locally for the same items.
The service I received from this company was first class. The manager made sure I ordered exactly what I was wanting as I ordered over the phone.
The delivery of my goods was a true 5* service, well packaged, checked in my home and all packaging taken away.
The delivery guys were very polite and professional in company uniform, they took their time bringing the goods into my home and making sure everything was ok. I would definitely use this company again .

Great store and great service. We purchased several beds and a sofa and are delighted with all. The sales team helped us to find exactly what we wanted. Staff are always friendly and very knowledgeable. They have access to some of the best high end brands and offer very competitive prices. They take time to understand our needs and help us assess the various options.
Delivery / installation experience is great too. We have always been kept up to date on lead times for new pieces. The delivery experience is great too - friendly staff, taking care of our furniture / home, attentive to our needs - nothing is too much trouble.

Just love this store! What have I not bought from here - I loved my Fama sofa from Spain so much I bought another one! The quality of the furniture is excellent and there is a huge choice to suit all styles. You are always guaranteed a warm welcome from all the staff, they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

After moving to a new house it was time to change our aging furniture.
