Dave at Christchurch branch was very helpful

This company helped me with my wife's wheelchair on 13th April they didn't ask for any money for doing the job it was only a 5min job but couldn't have been more helpful would recommend them to anyone Jordan was the person who helped

I needed a replacement brake cable for a 90yo. friend’s walker. (the friend is 90yo., not the walker !). Initially I went to another store in Christchurch who could not have been less helpful. Then I went to Ableworld in BridgeStreet and they were fantastic.
They looked at the old cable I had and thought it was similar to the one an another type of walker and he proceeded to remove one for me.
So, having done all this, I asked “ how much”?
No, that’s ok they told me.
I was served by Chris and Dave and they could not have been more helpful.
Fantastic in this day and age to find such service and helpful people.

Amazing service they really care. I have used this shop many times before for my elderly mother. When people first become less able it is a whole New World for family who are caring and this shop offers such great advice what can be very difficult times. We have bought personal care items, and two electric chairs and they come and do a trial in your home and “repair it” (when it got unplugged accidentally!), and recently I asked them for a recommendation because we needed to put a lift in mum and dad‘s house. They recommended a company called Stilz who were absolutely amazing and I don’t think we would’ve heard of them had it not been for their recommendation. The lift has made a massive difference to mums freedom in her own home thank you very much to Chris Eddie Dave and Kevin.

I have been going to this company, now in Christchurch, for a few years now and they have always steered me in the right direction for what I needed for my husband, the staff have always been very friendly professional, today I purchased a new mobility scooter for my husband, after a brilliant demonstration of how it worked and how my husband, 'who is 94' could use it.
Very happy.

Great team. A one stop destination for mobility needs and necessities for elderly people.
Highly recommend.
Especially enjoy seeing the cute four legged member of staff.

i have severe disability with my legs and i suffer with anxiety, recently ableworld christchurch whom i purchased a scooter from, came to pick it up as i had a problem, when they collected my scooter Dave dropped off a free loan scooter. They did the repair by the next day and returned it to me. I cannot recommend Christchurch store highly enough and all the staff are very friendly. I also today was very low on my battery so popped in and again very good service Dave charged my scooter while i waited and even made me a cup of tea while i was waiting.

We bought a mobility scooter from the Christchurch branch and Jordan provided excellent customer service. He explained about the different types of scooters and was happy to pull out as many as we wished to try. He explained all the features and the comparisons across the different models. He wasn't pushy or impatient. I would thoroughly recommend the Christchurch branch.

I wanted to buy a small mobility scooter that wold fit in the boot of my car. I was shown all the options and was able to test drive around the shop. I opted for a more expensive one with a lithium battery and aluminium frame. I was shown how to take it apart to go into my car – I just left it there and paid. Thank you Chris and Jordan, very helpful.

I bought a Mobility Scooter from Ableworld in Kinson and after 13 months use,
both batteries failed fair enough so on the 22nd November 2021 i bought and replaced both batteries
at a cost of £175.98 from "ableworld".
I had a total Knee replacement in April 2022 so did not use it much my husband charged it overnight every night like they told him to in the shop.
and in May/June 2022 my batteries ran out we spoke to the Christchurch shop " The shop in Kinson had closed down" they checked them for us and they showed up as being faulty.
They were very good and replaced them free of charge as they were faulty "They said they would not insure the new batteries that they replaced".
It is now 4/5 months down the line September 2022 and the new batteries they supplied to me have gone flat so they only lasted approx 4/5 months.
I am not very happy about this at all and wonder if you are selling faulty batteries ?...
My Husband charges them religiously every night as we were told to by Ableworld ....
P.S I look after my mobility scooter and it is my only lifeline to the outside world but i can't afford to keep replacing the batteries...

We had a problem with our Pride IGO Wheelchair and piped into Christchurch shop to see if they help with the issue we had.

Thankfully there were able to assist us.

Kev talked us through the problem we were having and sorted it out and also spent some time with us explaining the best way to store the wheelchair in our car.

I would recommend this shop to anyone who needed equipment for the disabled. They had such a selection of items in the store.

Thank you Kev for you help. We can now go out and about without worrying that the wheelchair would fail on us.

I will add that we did not buy wheelchair therefore but the still gave us a good service.

The experience with Ableworld Bournemouth has always been a good one. The staff in this store are extremely professional and empathetic.

Managed by Chris Brown, I cannot praise these people enough for the time and effort they invest in their customers and community.

Definitely the premier provider of assistance to anyone needing mobility assistance.

I visited your Christchurch showroom recently with my grandson, to buy a wheelchair both for my comfort and my grandson's ease of pushing it. Jordan was so knowledgeable, patient and kind, explaining the intricate differences of the chairs, it was easy to choose the right one. We were both impressed with Jordan's business-like but friendly manner, and I congratulate you on your choice of salesman. Thank you.
