Really good hands on practice. Shane did a good mix on theory and practice and left space for anyone who’d want to practice it in their own profession. Would definitely recommend!

Shane has a great way of teaching. His communication of information was excellent and he made the course both interesting and fun . I would highly recommend this course 👌

Both Shane and Mena were brilliant course facilitators. They made the whole learning process clear and simple to understand. They provided clear information and great encouragement running multiple scenarios and encouraging teamwork and leadership skill development.

Great course delivered in a very clear manner. Intense yet very enjoyable. Really good value.

Comprehensive, practical training with learning enforced through hands on scenarios. Knowledgeable instructor (Shane) who was able to bring life experience examples of first aid into the training sessions.

Repetitive reminders is actually very annoying and clogging up my in box.

Attended a REC 3 Course hosted by ABP training. A very comprehensive course over two days with excellent course content and an equally high level of instruction by Shane Rispin.

Shane was a great instructor - very knowledgeable and practical and he got through the course material in an interesting and practical way

I’ve just completed the two day Rec course with Shane.
I had some basic first aid from my work in construction but this really took things up a level.

Any free time I have is spent outdoors and that’s the reason I booked on to the Rec course.

The training was excellent and some of the best I’ve had on any course I ever attended.
Shane always took time to deal with us individually if we needed advice or some more guidance.

There was lots of practical work replicating different situations that may arises and Shane always kept us on our toes by switching things up to see how we’d react.

We all had lots of different roles to play over the course which was brilliant as it not only helped with my confidence but I could also see the massive change in confidence for the whole group .

It was an added bonus to meet so many new people from a range of different outdoor activities.
Sharing personal experiences and having some good laughs together in between training .

I’ll definitely be back with ABP training in a couple of years for my revalidation and will be checking out their other courses to see if any may be helpful to me going forward .

Shane was able to teach and communicate very effectively. He maximised participation in the less, gave feedback in a very constructive way and generally held attention.

Excellent REC3 training with ABP Training. Shane is very engaging and it's obvious that he is passionate about sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise. Albeit a full-on two days with loads of content there's not a PowerPoint in sight (the way I like it!). What could be theory heavy (and overwhelming) Shane breaks it down into manageable and practical chunks with lots of experiential hands-on drills outdoors, always preparing for the worst-case scenario.
A most enjoyable, fun and invaluable couple of days - thanks Shane for a great experience and I'd highly recommend ABP for all your future REC training needs!

Shane is an excellent trainer with lots of real world experience. Highly reccomended his first aid courses.

To class training. Took me from a novice and explained everything concisely and kept the learning interesting with interactive hands on experiences.

One of the best courses I’ve been on yet! Excellently ran and organised, and the delivery of material was second to none. Instructions were given clearly and feedback was extremely helpful. Shane’s good nature and great humour made the course that much more enjoyable. Jack also was a fantastic instructor, he obviously knows his stuff. Shane provided teas, coffees, baked goods and fruit on both days of the course. Breaks were frequent which helped with the absorption of the material. Overall it was a fantastic course, I can’t recommend Shane enough. I would encourage anyone to do their REC 3 course with ABP Training.
