great materials and a super way to deliver the lesson plan. all delivered with good humour and repeat practising

It was a great hike which was organized well, taking into consideration all hikers different fitness levels. The group worked together on a very long, enjoyable hike. Shane was attentive to all of us, when we struggled at different times and overall we all had a great experience. It did help that the weather was kind to us.

Shane was a fantastic instructor. Very hands-on learning style which was great, really engaging course, material delivered in interesting and fun way, really good stimulation of environment and type of injuries really relevant to all the sports of the people on the course. Really clear and easy to understand way of doing things. Felt more confident after the two days. Highly recommend using ABP training

Very informative and enjoyable two days training with realistic scenarios. Shane is super professional and even organised snacks teas &coffees for when we arrived / throughout the course. Overall, top class two days.

Good training locations and background

Learned so much and had a good time doing so. Would recommend to anyone! Shane seemed passionate about what he was teaching.

Excellent Rec 3 training course. Not one moment wasted. Fantastic practical out door training on different scenarios . The trainers were highly competent , clear and engaging. I will be using ABP Training for all of our inhouse training going forward.

Excellent first aid course. I really enjoyed it and learned so much.

Shane and Ollie were excellent. This two day intensive course covered enough material and practical scenarios to get you to a point of sufficient confidence when faced with outdoor recreational emergencies.

Fantastic teacher, would highly recommend. Great value for money. Friendly and very knowledgeable.

Good talk with Shane. Made the experience feel quite easy. Within a couple of hours we were able to climb and belay.

Great day out with Shane. Very experienced and knowledgeable guide. We had a lovely hike up Camaderry and then down onto St. Kevin's Way.

Shane also has a good knowledge of the history of the area which is lovely to hear about as you are hiking.

I had an amazing time on the Sofa to Summit 10 week course. Shane was a great leader with lots of local knowledge about the areas we were hiking and gave us plenty of helpful hiking tips and map reading skills, a really lovely man that made it fun and interesting for everyone involved. This course is suitable for beginners and people looking to get back into hiking to build up their fitness. The group was full of truly lovely people, many of whom I will hike with in the future. Fabulous views of Ocean, Forests, Mountains and lakes! If you want to get out on the hills and mountains of Dublin and Wicklow with a supportive group and leader, this is for you and I highly recommend it.

Very practical course
Throughout the course Shane made all scenarios and first aid resolutions directly relate to my every day working environment and made me feel well prepared for any situation that may arise.

Shane has a very effective teaching style and kept the course interesting, knowledgable and exciting. I learnt more than I've ever learnt on any other kind of first aid course. We were very hands on and put our skills to the test constantly. Highly recommended doing this course with Shane / ABP !
