Adept Ghostwriting (Barnes Ghostwriting) write their own reviews - and they are scam artists. A lot of recent reviews on Trustpilot bury the true and accurate scam reviews by real people. I wish Trust Pilot would investigae the fake reviews. I was scammed out of 4k. I'm suing them, but they're not in CA, as they 'state' on their website. So go elsewhere, don't throw your money away.

I was amazed by Adept Ghostwriting right from the initial meeting. Their writing was excellent, their staff was communicative, and their approach was well-organized. They brought my tale to life and flawlessly encapsulated my tone. I appreciate their commitment, and it seemed like a real team effort. I'd be happy to suggest them to anybody.

After reviewing Adepts past work, I decided not to enlist their ghostwriting services. What came next is a nightmare I would not wish on my worst enemy. You will receive texts from various phone numbers offering ghostwriting services. You will block them, and another message from a different number will arrive next month. This has been happening for 5 years now. If you decide to do business with them, use a burner phone and email.

I paid Adept Ghostwriting (Los Angeles, CA) $5,000 for writing and coaching services that were never delivered as promised. After significant follow-up, the company acknowledged the refund in writing, confirmed the amount and the deadline (April 4, 2025), but as of today, they have not refunded the money.

Despite my numerous reminders, they have gone completely silent. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which closed the case after Adept Ghostwriting failed to respond at all.

This is not only unprofessional but deeply unethical. I strongly urge others to avoid this company and protect themselves from financial and emotional distress. I remain open to resolving this if they honour their refund commitment.
