I successfully published my book through Ghostwriting, but my experience with their Marketing and Website for my book has been horrendous. I dealt with Joshua through the publishing of my book and that experience was fine. I committed to marketing for $2000 and the creation of a website for my book for $1000 and have not received either of these services satisfactorily. I am now connected to Larry, as I was told Joshua was out on medical leave, but Larry does not have the professionalism of Joshua. At this time I do not believe I will get the services I paid for and would like a refund.

I do not trust this company, aka Texona Marketing LLC. After contract initially signed and down payment made, I immediately requested cancelation and reimbursement. They refuse to reimburse. Joshua, employee of Clifford Ghostwriting, continues to text me to see if I have received reimbursement from Clifford Ghostwriting multiple times...harassment. As of today, November 19th, no reimbursement received. Clifford Ghostwriting, aka Texona Marketing LLC, is a highly UNPROFESSIONAL and UNTRUSTWOTHY company.

He definitely needs sales training on how to treat a prospect and possible client. He got extremely impatient with me and told me I was pissing him off because I need to make a decision. He’s been trying for two months.
Writing a book is a huge thing and I’ve never been treated like this before. And I being in a sales rep for over 40 years just began a new job and it is very overwhelming in a new industry. I would never treat another human being like this and especially a prospect or Customer. He missed out. I was almost ready. If they would treat a prospect like this, what are you gonna get when you actually pay the money and hire them? Weary, be very weary and cautious. You can’t trust people like that.

I hired Clifford Ghostwriting to complete my book project, and it turned into a frustrating and stressful experience. While they promised professionalism and quality, what I received fell far below expectations. Communication was inconsistent, the work felt rushed, and when I tried to raise concerns, I was met with resistance and deflection.

Despite terminating the contract according to the terms, they refused to issue a refund, claiming I had approved everything — which is false. I have filed formal complaints with the FTC, BBB, CFPB, and my bank. Their so-called "compliance" team has sent me harassing messages, trying to shift blame and intimidate me.

I do not recommend this company to any author or entrepreneur. Proceed with caution — what they offer is not worth the emotional or financial cost.

Ethan Campbell is very knowledgeable and patient. He explained the process of ghostwriting a book well. He wasn't pushes and I appreciate it that.

Within 2 weeks of signing with this company I became permanently disabled and am unable to participate in writing the book. Joshua calls and harasses me nearly daily and refuses to refund my money, even a portion if it. I have provided a plethora of medical records and MD notes and they refuse to issue a refund after only delivering an outline created by chat cot. To be clear, no work was ever done on the book. This company is unconscionable.

I hired this company. They ripped me off. They didn’t make the 10 covers that I paid for. They kept sending me my work with someone else’s name as an author and with copyright provisions on it. These provisions are deliberately put on. Made up, lies and excuses. Try to say it automatically happens when it doesn’t. You have to click on file, info, and provisions. Rude ignorant kept asking me if I am educated because I am angry with them because I shouldn’t have to ask over 10 times to remove these provisions when they send me my file. And then they kept telling me my book is published that it is done. My book was published before they even started working on my book. They make up excuses to rip you off. They have fraud me. They did not do what was required in the contract contract. I had to fight with them. They kept telling me they were finished when they were not just like the appendix. Ethan knows all about it. These are dishonest people. And they kept asking me if I’d like to buy my book. For some reason, they’re upset that my book was published before they started working on it. And then they started making excuses because it was published that they were working on my book. All my books are published before I send it to anyone. Buyer beware I shouldn’t have to fight and argue with people. They make up excuses told me to buy a computer. I am just flabbergasted how ignorant and unprofessional these people are. I don’t know the difference between us is due to culture. But these people are very ignorant. They expect you to buy things that you don’t need because you hired them to do it because you didn’t want to buy a computer and all the programs but you know how to do it yourself. You’re educated because you’re telling them to go f themselves over there retarded ignorance. All over quit putting on rightprotection on my word document. Everything I asked them to do they didn’t. it was a stressful, unnecessary, and unnecessary experience. Their ignorance will blow you away. Especially with their lies and how rude they are because you’re telling them to go themselves because your patience is done. Be very careful. I was happy until they started playing little games and I found other peoples names on my Word document as author. And write protection on top of it, which means they have published this book somewhere else. You have to manually put this on. It doesn’t automatically go on Word like they were trying to tell me. Because of their lies and dishonesty, I believe they have stolen my book and something fishy is transpiring. There is no reason why protection should be on my word document at all same with other peoples names. All you do is go to file info and protection or whatever you want. But I’m not educated according to these people. Lmfao beware buyer beware him December 29, 2024 February 13 is my last correspondence with them. They’re supposed to send me my finished book. Which I have not received. The last file they sent to me that was finished with the appendix was copyrighted and I asked them to remove it. And they did not they got their asses chewed out because I’m having no patience with stupidity isn’t because they don’t know it’s because they are deliberately doing this or they have stolen my book.

Ethen was so amazing in helping me through every question I had as I have been wanting to right a book to help other women that have struggled through so much as I have a made it through. He was very insightful and made me feel confident in my choice to go with the Clifford company! Thank you so much Ethen and I am so excited to get started on this new adventure!
