I shopped at Ade’s on Monday 23rd September, I put £1 in the trolley successfully and on my return after shopping the money got stuck in the trolley, I seek assistance from a staff member to retrieve my money but he was rude and defiant that it was not £1 but a coin. This was a ripe off.

Speaking as someone who orders online from Ades at least twice EVERY MONTH, They have become literally one of the WORST places to shop from.
Ordered items will go missing from your box with zero communication and accountability. Items you paid dearly for will come bad, broken and messed up. Your orders will be delayed and missing for days with no excuse nor apology. Staff will be rude, condescending, nonchalant and just downright saucy to you if you try to call and express your concerns.
ALL of this has happened to me in the past 2 months.
It’s a shitload of poor service and dishonesty. Nobody should have to pay for overpriced items and still be cheated.
Will never recommend and won’t be wasting my hard earned money on Ade’s anymore.

Well, it seems I am not the only one who has had missing items from this seller. I have ordered from them twice and in both orders, items have been missing without explanations. I have had to chase for a reason.

In this last case, they are almost calling me a liar sending me photos of the goods, so I had to send them a picture of the opened box with the items untouched and I have asked them to send me a picture of the goods in the box before they sealed it. No reply, no refund.

How can you hope to run a long lasting successful business when you are complacent with customers’ orders.

Unfortunately, I have had to contact those I referred them to as an Online Africa Shop to buy from and tell them not to bother.

I will never order from them again. Avoid at all cost if you can. Seriously!!!

They repackage the Tilapia into their own branded bags. I ordered 800+ grams pack and received mixed sizes with most of them 300g.

I will therefore not be ordering you again, this is very disappointing as I had to patreon for a few years.

My order arrived and there was a missing item. I contacted them and its been a week and I haven't heard anything meaningful from them. Please boycott them as a lot of reviews are also talking about missing items with seller not willing to refund.

Thamesmead pls no one should order online they are frude , I order stuff online I went to pick it up myself some of the items I order was not in stock they are not willing to refund or replace , I have been on it for over 3month, they lied that they have refunded me until I told them that I will sue them, and when I made report to PayPal they favour them, the goods of 133£ that they should refund me they refunded back 55£ pls do shop with them they are frund the staffs are rude unprofessional this is my worse experience ever, and 3month later they claimed they have refunded me until I told them today that no money or partial refund received and few sec later when I told I will sue them after 3month they gave me back 55£ today the 14th of March I bought goods since dec16 2022

Went to Ades cash and carry to do bulk shopping as well as do the NIN, travelling down from inner Kent. I did not see and was not told Ades now operates a paid parking within its perimeter. Spent over 2hrs doing the shopping and the NIN especially, as their system was faulty and kept breaking down on the day. I was issued a £100 parking ticket by the employed Parking company, despite having evidence of shopping and NIN payment on the said day. Ades and the NIN company refused to help resolve/cancel the said parking ticket, and was passed from pillar to post, with Ades and the NIN company, absolving themselves of responsibility. Ades just bade goodbye to a loyal customer.

Firstly my order was not delivered onetime.
Secondly items were missing from my orders.
I had to reorder the missing item and pay extra shipping, the company did not even care to send my missing order and it was in stock. Customers service I called was telling me to email and wait until I get reply, so what the point of having a telephone customer service. I have to go to my bank for refund and compensation. Company need to start learning how to practice what they say. Absolutely useless and unprofessional company. Will no longer deal with this company.

Excellent - from online enquiry to delivery. The quality of food ordered was excellent. Wonderful to be able to obtain quality Caribbean and African food items delivered to my door in a remote area of Scotland.

This is my second order from them and both has been something missing. The first was when they first started delivery service. Both my missing item and refund disappeared in air.
Fast forward to yesterday. I ordered £6 plantain and £2 plantain was sent out of £200 worth of goods. The plantain is needed for my daughter's first holy communion celebration in 2 days time which they have spoilt with their gullible service. I reach out and all I was told is something will be done. What will be done? No one says.
Am so annoyed with them right now.
If you can't go to them, don't buy from them. My advice.

Like my fifth delivery. Never ever been disappointed. The delivery is always on time, plus they have every African stuffs you can ever think of, even chocomilo and sugar-cane lol. And their prices is incomparable. I will definitely keep ordering from this shop.

Bought a box of puna yam from Adesfoods.co.uk.I was sent a box of rotten yam.Complained and a representative from the company named Ayo apologised and promised to send a replacement which she did, but this time half of the yam in the box was spoilt.Sent an email and complained again but no reply up till date. I was ignored.Disappointing.
