The Plumber arrived and was very professional, courteous and the installation was seamless.

Couldn’t recommend this service more. I got this free through my water company and I have noticed no difference to my water pressure at all, but hopefully will see a difference in my bills soon! Really nice plumber too.

Turned up unannounced saying here to fit device on water meter. Had had no prior information and kept talking at me. I ended up letting him in and he did something to my taps. I was trying to wfh at the time and felt completely derailed. I told him that I needed to think about things and he gave me a qr code to scan.
Not surprised to see such a low trust pilot score.
I'm actually fuming now as we have a trading standards sticker on the door saying no cold callers which he completely ignored. Having a name badge does not exempt you from being a cold caller if you don't have an appointment. Even if they saved me £1000 on my bill I don't want this company anywhere near me.

Great service. Control Flow person named Shaun arrived on time, was helpful explaining everything then checked for leaks and fixed a dripping tap in our downstairs toilet. He installed the water saving device in less than 45 minutes. Looking forward to seeing the reduction in our water bill.

Two guys knocked on the door saying they were from United Utilities, my house had been flagged as high water usage and they needed to come in and take a meter reading. The meter had been read a few days ago, my water usage is as low as it's possible to get, the guys were in unbranded high viz. I sent them on their way, to be told I should let them in next time. Called United Utilities. They hadn't sent them. So called police who conducted enquiries and tracked them to this company. They had my name, data breach, and lied through their teeth to try to enter my home. GMP are aware and United Utilities will be getting complaints.

Like the previous poster I've had a similar experience with Control Flow failing to attend an appointment. Utterly disgraceful. No call, text or email of apology - nout!
I arranged the appointment on the phone and was informed that 'someone' would be visiting my property between 9am - 1pm today 28th/ 01/26.
I've waited in all morning only to hear NOTHING! At least Cenergist turned up last time.
United Utlities will need to sit down and check the integrity of the companies they are recommending. Someone in high office hasn't done their homework- please monitor the failed appointments or as in my case the 'No Show.'
United Utilities may want customers to save water but customers need to save time aswell. I've wasted 4 hours this morning. Unprofessional and 'casual' to say the least.

United Utilities contacted me several times encouraging me to book a free water-saving visit with Control Flow. After being contacted in person and multiple times by email, I eventually went ahead and booked an appointment online. I received a confirmation and arranged my day around it.

On the day of the visit, nobody turned up. There was no cancellation, no email, no phone call and no apology, nothing at all. I was left waiting in for an appointment that simply never happened, which was a complete waste of my time.

If appointments can’t be honoured, the least customers should expect is basic communication. Very disappointing experience.

Company made appointment, but never turned up

Very disappointing customer service. I was pressured into installing a control valve in just one day, with the promise that they would respond immediately if any issues arose. From an hour after installation, I began contacting their customer service team — they took down the details but never followed up or resolved the problem. It’s clear they are focused solely on pushing more installations to generate revenue from the water company, with little to no concern for the customer issues.

A Cenergist operative came to my home following referral from United Utilities.
Complete waste of time.
Was here for about 15 minutes.
All he did was alter the flow to my taps which I altered back again after he left because there was so much noise due to the restriction of the flow coming through.
Think I had more knowledge of how a house water system works than he did

The engineer (Cole) who contacted us was a consummate professional, courteous and respectful of the property, who explained the product and its benefits clearly and well. His review was detailed, after which he proceeded with the installations as appropriate without any oversight from me. The time for installation was less than an hour, very impressive, and he also was mindful of any water spillages, which showed enormous consideration, again a sign of his professionalism.

I am eagerly looking forward to my reduced water and gas bills!

Very professional service from start to finish. The engineer was very polite and explained the products and benefits very well. The install was quick and easy -no mess. Looking forward to my reduced water and gas bills.

I was contacted by an engineer who explained we could have a device fitted to our water meter to reduce the flow, and save us money. A date was arranged, and the device fitted. The flow has been reduced, but not so it impacts general use. If it helps to save the amount of water used, and cuts my water bill, then it's a win win.
The engineer was professional, friendly and I'm pleased to have had the device fitted.
