Disappointed. Called Advanced Damp for a free quote to put a damp course in front of my house before installing a new plinth. I knew what I wanted to be done, but the company insisted I needed to do the survey. When I said I need a free quote, which their website said they do, they said the guy who does free quote is on the leave for 3 months and so they don't do the free quote. I said it is a small job and the trustpilot website says that damp course for a small house costs around £800 pounds, Advanced Damp said not with them, and that they are not interested in projects less than £3,000. Overpriced, insisting on surveys as a way of making additional money. One wonders then about the quality of their work or they just want the quick and most expensive jobs.

The team was incredibly professional, arrived on time, and finished the job ahead of schedule. They tidied up after themselves at the end of each, which we really appreciated! The quality of work was outstanding, and they provided a guarantee at the end of the job.

From start to finish, Advanced Damp have been amazing! Very informative, professional and friendly. I would 100% recommend them!

The surveyor did a very thorough report and the work was mainly carried out by Marcel who is absolutely fantastic , knowledgeable about his work and finishes the plastering to a great finish.
I wish advanced would include rubbish collection in their quote , and the replacement of skirting boards otherwise a good job thank you !

Kev Groombridge was excellent, really professional, friendly and did a fantastic job of sorting out the damp in our walls and plastering. He was incredibly tidy and left our property in immaculate condition. Would highly recommend.

I wasn't really sure about the whole process when I sent my query, but they came to the house and proofed my bedroom like no tomorrow. They were also really nice, would recommend :)

I seem to have had an altogether different experience with this company unfortunately. I will say the initial survey carried out was good but it only went down hill from there. The costs got more and more expensive. I asked for new updated quotes or clarification of certain points or costs - I was only ever given answers over the phone (My mistake! AWAYS GET IT IN WRITING). I was quoted a 2 day job. The contractor didn't turn up the first day. I had been advised he was stuck in traffic due to an accident on the A34 but I did live traffic updates and could see it had cleared. Roughly 2 hours later I was told there was still traffic and they would not be coming - this was at 12pm. I just did not believe this was the truth. They arrived Friday to carry out the work and what had initially been a 2 day job was then carried out in 1/2 a day. The plaster job was carried out very poorly. I had been advised over the phone that fresh chipboard for my boxing in would be supplied - I was appalled to see they had put back in my rotten old chipboard and it was an absolute joke. I raised this to be told in their T&Cs they don't cover skirting or boxing in. Then why did they agree to do it? I also checked their T&Cs and whilst it does say they don't cover skirting boards it says nothing about the boxing in. The boxing in was also identified in their initial survey as needing to be replaced. I then received their invoice was was wrong twice - charging for work not actually carried out and then when they sent it the third time the discounts initially applied had been reduced. After lots of back and forth and I'll admit I lost my temper in my emails. I listed out the issues with the plaster job and offered them the opportunity to come back. They sent Sami to do the work on Thursday and to be fair he was really good - although he was roughly 3 hours late. When he arrived he was honest and told me the job had actually been scheduled for him on the Monday and he was halfway through a job in Banbury when he got a call from Leah to advise he was required at my job - he was late because he had to finish the job in Banbury first. I felt bad for him as he also explained he was supposed to accompany his wife to the Dentist at 3pm which due to the office's error he could no longer do.

Advanced Damp staff were efficient and helpful from beginning to end.
Rob the surveyor came on 10/4/24 and produced an excellent report which identified the possible causes of the damp floor and walls and the remedial action required.
Leah the Customer Services Assistant effectively coordinated the work and administration throughout the process which lasted approx 2 months and was helpful in keeping us up to date.
Alan uncovered a leaking hot water pipe which was the cause of the problem and Dan who did most of the work was most helpful,friendly and efficient.This involved removing the damaged flooring and walls,applying damp treatment,relaying the floor and replastering the walls.He also installed an ACO drain system outside.
The whole operation was overseen by Keith the manager He was most helpful in making things happen,including a personal visit to our house and producing a revised survey report and estimate.
Overall we were most impressed by the team at Advanced Damp Ltd.

Advanced Damp did a great job on our damp proofing. Alan was tidy and efficient, and his plastering was top-notch. Really recommend them!

Sam was epic from start to finish. We wanted new render but with a specific colour and finish. Sam listened to our requirements, walked us through the process and delivered on time for a great price. I have no hesitation in recommending Sam and the team.
