A pleasnt experience.
Henry arrived on time and had a very pleasant attitude, he surveyed the staircase and explained everything in detail so that both my partner and I understood the system and the process and answered questions directly without embellishments. Their quotation was also explained in detail and where necessary conformation/explanation given and a copy left for us to consider. Placing the order the following day was a simple exercise and we now await the installation in a couple of weeks. We've had a good experience and now look forward to having the stairlift installed.

Value for money
We were very pleased with the stairlift installation. Siobhann, who visited us, was very helpful and nice, explaining how the stairlift would work, advising that the radiator on the landing would need to be moved (which it did) and helping with approving the finance after paying a deposit (50%). The installer, who fitted the lift, demonstrated how the lift worked well. He also removed the existing handrail for us and tidied up afterwards. For a reconditioned Stannah, we were happy with the price and the flexible finance option. I was also pleased that the track rail doesn't take up much stair space and the chair/arms fold up. I would recommend this company if you need a stairlift that is affordable and easy to use.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough ... Mike who came along today who was extremely friendly… made my Nan who requires the stairlift at ease even taking shoes off when coming in to the house, giving all suitable and affordable options for the not so straight forward staircase. As I say I cannot recommend them highly enough 5 star service

Paula from Affordable Stairlifts…
Paula from Affordable Stairlifts attended to provide a quotation for a stairlift for my partner's father. She conducted herself in a highly professional and knowledgeable manner and took the time to answer all of our questions in detail. She clearly explained the stairlift options available, using videos to demonstrate them, and provided a thorough overview of pricing and lead times.
His parents were happy to proceed with the purchase. When we advised that some remedial work would be required prior to installation, Paula was very accommodating with our proposed timescales. She provided a provisional installation date and left her contact details so that arrangements could be amended if necessary.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the service provided and would confidently recommend Affordable Stairlifts and Paula.

A very professional survey and recommendatoin.
Picture a slick, smart, young, persuasive salesman. Now think of the exact opposite and you will get some idea of Steve Watson. Steve just got on with the job of assessing the best stairlift for my stairs, and made his recommendation. His quiet unassuming professional manner quickly gained my confidence, and all the reasons for his recommendation made sense. I got the impression that he couldn’t use pressure sales tactics if he tried. In addition, I liked the appearance and all the features of the recommended product, and can easily believe that it is of superior quality as Steve claims. My follow-up research confirms this. The price was reasonable, and although not the cheapest, you don’t get a Mercedes for the price of a Ford. I had no hesitation in placing an order there and then and not wasting time seeing other companies.
