I needed to buy a small item which


I needed to buy a small item which showed in stock, but it's a minimum £25 for an order. Plus the delivery charge is excessive when I added a couple of small items to the order to bring the value up. Shame really, you had the items in stock but you've put me off buying other stuff in the future now.

(Edited) I appreciate your response and to an extent I understand. I also appreciate that you went to the trouble to measure them and I sincerely thank you for doing that. But you have to agree that the minimum charge plus delivery price completely outweigh the purchase price of the small items. I would have been happy with standard postage delivery too. I haven't gone elsewhere yet as it wasn't an urgent need. But here's the point - by making a small sale you would have set us up for potentially bigger and profitable sales for you in future.

Thank you for your review, although it is a shame to hear that you have been put off using us in the future, especially after we did go out of our way to measure multiple parts for you to ensure you were confident in ordering the correct item. We can only assume that this information has then been used to order the part elsewhere. We have no right to your orders of course, but it is important that we share this with others who will undoubtedly read your review. Our team will do our best to give customers a high level of service, and the minimum order value is in place to ensure our team is not overwhelmed with high quantities of smaller orders. The shipping cost is high compared to the value of this part, but we do use a next working day service and choose the most reliable option, which isn’t always the cheapest.

Thank you for your review.

I appreciate our pricing on some items may seem less competitive than others - with your example of oil prices; we stock oil to assist our customers but we are not a direct distributor with the manufacturer. This means our prices for some product lines may be comparatively higher. I would highly encourage using the 'Found a Better Price?' button on our website as we will attempt to better our pricing where possible.
