Superb, friendly service from a brilliant team at Alexander Hudson Estates! The portfolio that was produced for our house was excellent and helped us sell in a matter of weeks. The great service continued from sale to completion with Lindsey being a great help when it came to chasing solicitors for answers or just dealing with any concerns that we had about the process of moving home. Many thanks to the whole team! Very highly recommended!

Fast and efficient. We went through a bumpy journey in selling our property (through no fault of AH Estates) due to a buyer wasting our time. Lindsey Scott listened to me have a meltdown and Barbara helped fix things. I always felt reassured that it was all going to be ok. I’m now standing in my forever property thanks to these guys. Amazing service and worth the money to take away the stress of selling a property.

We cannot say enough about how fantastic Alexander Hudson Estates is. Everyone we spoke to was so kind, friendly and professional. Our main contact, Lindsey, went above and beyond to help get our sale and purchase over the line and always responded to our queries quickly and kept us in the loop with everything - we couldn't have done it without her, she is truly amazing! If we ever move again we'll definitely go with them and will recommend them to anyone moving home.

From the moment I contacted Alexander Hudson Estates I have received nothing but a polite, friendly and expert service.
Firstly, Alex and Frances did an amazing job with the valuation, property details, photographs and ‘dolls house’ tour that presented my home in its best light. Then the fantastic Jess arranged viewings to suit myself and family and swiftly secured an above asking price offer. Next, Lindsey took over and this is when I was astounded by the motivation and commitment to take our sale through to completion. There were some real issues along the way with our chain and I have to admit it was stressful, but Lindsey worked so hard to keep things on track, chasing solicitors and keeping me updated along the way, which really relieved the pressure. I truly believe that without her efforts, we would not be in our new home today. She’s an absolute star!

Rented a nice house in 2nd year. Damp hallway that was never resolved. Garage door broken when we moved in and never fixed. Were quick to fix appliances though. Tried to claim damages deposit even though the house was left immaculate. Too much hassle, going with a different agency this year.

Alexander Hudson did a great job in helping us sell our Mums house it was good to use a local company who knew the area well they kept us up to date with every step of the process.

Following a stressful experience with another company the Alexander Hudson team supported me throughout the sale of my property and also liaising with the developers of my new property.

Ideally I'd give 3.5 as I'd say above average but not great. Initial experience was fab personal visit from the owner to get started letting a property was really nice and filled me with confidence. We had some delays our end and there were some miscommunication but just put this down to communicating in writing and easily sorted. I asked for a face to face meeting to check the contract before letting this didnt happen someone else showed up for the appointment who couldn't answer any questions and the phone call was under pressure and rushed. The property was let in under 24 hrs which is great but missing the meeting has resulted in misunderstanding that I feel could have been avoided had I got the conversation I was promised. Property was let fast for a good price but this month rent is late with no communications to say why. Sort out the communication blips and this will be a great business. Not sure if they have grown faster than staff levels allowed or if there is a bigger issue but sure it can be resolved quickly.

I had previously used Alexander Hudson to sell my own property so, I had no hesitation in using his services again to secure new tenants for one of my rental properties.

Alex and his team provided the same exceptional service and a tenant was found within a week.

As always Alex gave sound advice which was much appreciated. His colleague Fran dealt with the transaction very efficiently and kept me up-to-date at all stages. The staff at Alexander Hudson were extremely responsive and helpful - we quickly got a viewing arranged (the next working day after requesting) and they efficiently dealt with our offer, getting in touch with the sellers quickly and informing us of the acceptance. We've had a brilliant experience selling our home with Alexander Hudson. When I was younger I worked in property, so I know how much skill and talent actually goes into the job and how much a good agent will affect the price, and even more importantly, be able to get it through to completion once it's sold. I could tell that every member of staff I dealt with were exceptionally trained, experienced and everyone communicated with each other to make sure everything ran smoothly all the way through. The negotiators created a good buzz around my listing and the property went to 'best and final' offers. I was given good advice all the way through to ensure we got the very best price and buyer. Once the property was sold I felt I was in good hands to make sure it progressed through survey, conveyancing etc., which can be really stressful when you're not used to the process, but I felt that I could call at anytime to ask for help or advice. I'd highly recommend Alexander Hudson to anyone looking to sell their home and I'm sure with such good service we'll be seeing plenty more of their boards around the North east soon.
