The company ignored my calls when asking who they were regulated by in response to the fact they charged for services outside of the Tenancy Fees Act 2020 which would be illegal.
The company writes agreements that include end of tenancy cleaning charges as standard which has been prohibited since 2020.
The company refused to give me my tenancy agreement so I could check that they had included this in the contract, and then it suddenly appeared with them months later when I asked for the phone number of my landlord for a different manner. I think this is very dishonest. This company uses the phrase "we don't manage the property" to justify not being able to help at all.
PS: I have no idea who the Thomas in your reply is, I suggest you look my name up on your records.
PPS: thankyou for changing the name, but I still think you’ve mixed me up with someone else. I didn’t request to leave the tenancy.

From start to finish (approx 13 weeks) the team at Alexander Hudson were amazing! Always on the ball, on the other end of the phone to help out, and really friendly. Alexander was amazing too...1st Rate!

The team at Alexander Hudson were all fantastic from start to finish. After getting in touch for a valuation, Jessica came and provided one in line with what I expected.
The house was put on the market with brilliant photos from Frances and within a week of the house being on the market a price was accepted well in excess of the asking price.
Lindsey was great in organising all of the paperwork and putting me in touch with solicitors at True Solicitors who were also very reasonable.
When I do look to purchase another home, I would certainly look to use Alexander Hudson again.

Everyone we dealt with at AH was helpful and attentive throughout our selling process.

When we contacted them about selling, Alexander came to check out the place very quickly, giving us a valuation in line with what we expected, and what we were also quoted by another agent. He took excellent photos which really showcased the house, and after posting a 'sneak peek' online before the house officially went on the market, we were inundated with requests for viewings, which the sales team organised to fit around our busy schedule near to Christmas.

Within a couple of days we had received several offers around or in excess of the asking price, but following some negotiation, Jess and the sales team were able to get us an even better price.

We did have some trouble with the new build house we were buying (not through AH), and with the solicitors, but Lindsey was especially helpful in contacting our buyers and solicitors to move the process along and making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible throughout the whole process.

Hopefully we will not be moving home again for some time, but when we do, we will be sure to seek out AH again in the knowledge we will be receiving exceptional service.

Me and my partner called the agent to book a viewing for a property which came back on the market the day before. We were told nobody could view it for 9 days and we booked a viewing for this coming Saturday. I explained our budget was way over the asking price and we are in a proceedable position so we are very much excited to view.

I get an EMAIL today to say sorry; the property has now sold and your viewing is cancelled.

How can this be when “no viewings were taking place until this weekend”. Has the vendor been told about the amount of viewings on Saturday? Have they been told about the buying positions of the interested parties? I emailed back to ask these questions and been completely ignored.

Not a good service at all!

I have spent 3 months trying to get money back due to a mathematical error in a contract they wrote. With constant issues such as arranging call backs with no follow through, ignoring emails, failing to fulfil requests for files and personal information transferred to them regarding payments. I can only say this is the most pathetic excuse for a letting agency I've seen in a while. The only saving grace of this all is my Landlord who is now having to refund us out of pocket as they still haven't received the money meant for them. This review will stay on here until the issue is resolved.

Alexander and his staff were very brilliant and professional in selling my property and in getting me a rental property.

Couldn't be happier with the service that Alex and his team have offered us. Alex attended our house and talked though the process from valuation to bringing our property to market. He highlighted a clear marketing strategy and made us feel that everything had been considered in the sale of our house. The valuation we received was in depth and met all our expectations. Alex and his team communicated with us throughout the process, always going the extra mile to ensure we were satisified. An excellent service all round I would highly recommend using them.

The service from this estate agent is just shy of horrific.

We went to see a property almost 8 weeks ago which is stated on their website as ‘coming soon’ we then placed an offer which took them 2 weeks to get back to us. Whilst I appreciate they may have had trouble getting in touch with the vendor it seemed they did very little to chase this.

Two weeks went by and after myself and my partner chasing this every day nearly we then received an EMAIL from Jess to say the offer had been declined as the vendor is now unsure if they want to keep the property or sell it.

I think staff need training on how to handle a difficult conversation and wording a decline if they think it is acceptable to send a decline over email especially when the offer was for a substantial amount.

Around 6 weeks have gone by now and the property is still on their website as Coming Soon even though the vendor is still unsure of what they’re doing with the property.

For a company who’s values are ‘Honest, Integrity and Commitment’ this couldn’t be further from the truth.
