My therapist was a perfect match and a rate I could afford. We accomplished quite a bit and I look forward to continuing my journey.

The student therapist were good, the the whole experience was very helpful

This company has really misleading advertising. They make a big deal about how they are making therapy accessible and changing the therapy landscape but this is untrue and really they are overcharging for lower quality services. Do a bit of research and you'll see that their prices: $115 - 175 for an associate therapist (i.e., a qualified) and $45 - $105 for interns are the same or in some cases MORE than the cost for registered counsellors, social workers and in some cases psychologists and for interns in the provinces they practice. For example, a quick perusal of Psychology Today will show you you can find highly qualified counsellors in even Ontario or BC for the lower end of what Alli charges and Alli's standard rate ($175) is above what most of these counsellors are charging (and you will have WAY better selection of therapists). Go to any medium or large size clinic in Canada and you will find intern therapists you can see for less than $105. It looks like many of their therapists and student therapists attend Yorkville University. Google "Yorkville University psychology quality" and see what is said about this program (hint: thumbs down). They advertise themselves as affiliated with top-tier universities in Canada but I don't see any therapists from those universities on their website. What Alli has done is create an online platform to overcharge for lower quality services that already are advertised at the same or lower prices on Psychology Today and advertise their product as revolutionary. Misleading and disappointing.

I expressed my concern over the fact I was told that I wanted to pay with benefits and I was mislead and found out this was not covered by benefits. Would not recommend this at all. They took my money and didn’t care the position it left me in.

Response on July 5th: I contacted this company 4 times prior to leaving this first review and no one has ever gotten back to me which makes this seem disingenuous.

Amy took the time to connect solutions to the problems I was facing. She listened judgement free, and offered multiple solutions allowing me to choose what method worked for me. She was also really patient and understanding when I had a scheduling faux pas.

Hello, my name is Catia, I already knew what the back home therapy experience was like before choosing Ali. However, it has been a rewarding experience. I was going through a divorce and violent abuse. I already knew it was wrong and I need it to go away, but what I need is to stop the cycle and make sure I will never be in the same situation again. Mark has been very compassionate and knowledgeable on many topics, helping me heal and getting to know myself is a process that I have enjoyed and that I would love to continue. I need to clarify that I had never had a male therapist, but it was a very pleasant experience. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to connect with Mark, but I tried and he was the best therapist that could have ever come into my life.

My experience was wonderful and helpful.
I felt secure in the sessions and learned new things to help me in my life.
I wish i could keep going with it because i know Alli can continue to help me, but I'm unable at the moment due to lack of finances.
In the mean time i work on the exercises given to me from the sessions so i can stay on track.

I have been working towards my mental health for well over a year. I started with Betterhelp but I just couldn't afford their prices. I thought I'd try Alli, back in September, and have not regretted my choice. I will not be going back to Betterhelp. My therapist helps me work through my issues and allows me a safe space to be myself. I feel more of a connection with my therapist. I have been recommending Alli to anyone who needs therapy.

Having the ability to access absolute quality counselling whilst being in the comfort of my own home, and while I don’t have benefits to cover this has been LIFE SAVING!

Great service for affordable costs. It’s been a major aid. It’s prompt, safe, and reliable. My therapist is understanding and endearing-can’t ask for much else.

I struggled to find somewhere that wouldnt waste my time trying to make CBT work and Alli made sure that I got the trauma based therapy that I needed.

Setting up my first appointment was super easy and I didn’t need to wait long. Since then, all of my appointments have been at the perfect time to fit in my schedule. I was nervous about online appointments, especially with the sliding scale fees, but the quality of care is impeccable. It is also fully covered by my insurance.

Honestly, this has been a great experience. I have worked on opening up and communicating. My therapist has truly helped me and I look forward to our session rather than wanting to avoid them. I feel like I’m healing and that’s all thanks to Alli
