The return process is problematic

The return process is problematic .
They charge extra for “insurance” and use third party vendors to handle returns and to track shipping which is directed to bogus entities. They are often unable to advise of day for product arrival or even where the item is.

Why do I have to pay the shipping if an item is not to my liking?

Tall inseams are good, but not worth the hassle for the high overall costs.

Do not order from ALLOY!!!

Do not, and I repeat do not order anything from alloy.com! I spent over $200 on their website for three pairs of pants and paid for next day shipping although I qualified for free shipping because I needed them quickly for a new job. The status on shipping never changed from USPS awaiting item. It took me seven days to finally get in contact with the company on Ward that apparently does their shipping for them to simply inform me that my items were lost in transit, yeah no kidding!
I stupidly decided to take them up on their offer to re-order the items and have them shipped next day again and thought to myself there’s no way this can happen twice. I order online several times a week and never have a problem, well it did happen again! My next day shipping was again stuck in transit and USPS was awaiting item. It said shipping label created. After doing some more research, I was even more irritated to find out that what this means is that the merchant“alloy “only created the shipping label and actually never sent the items. This went on for over two weeks. I never received my items. I never received even satisfactory customer service and or an apology for all of the problems and then when I requested my refund, it took over another week and I didn’t even get a full refund! I don’t know how companies get away with this and it seems to be an extremely common issue with alloy so do not waste your time and your money. You will not receive your items. I have checked several different review websites since this problem started and read one after another of the same thing happening to other people over and over and over again take your business elsewhere!

Do not order from this company!!!

Do not order from this company!!!! They indicated my order was delivered…it was not! When I reached out they told me since I hadn’t purchased their shipment protection they could not help me! What a bunch of crooks !!!

Since they got bought out quality and…

Since they got bought out quality and diversity of clothing went downhill. They used to offer so many different models of jeans and sweatpants, it was a pleasure buying something every month. Last time i bought 2 pair of pants i had to return twice. Either they sent me a wrong size or wrong inseam. Customer service doesn't care so i just requested my money back. Luckily there are other good stores for tall women.

I have Customer since 1996

I have been a customer since they opened in 1996! Being 6ft 1 I must say ALLOY was a blessing to us tall girls back then. I don't know who got their hands on it but it has changed way to much for my liking. Shipping issues, sizing issues, material issues. I can now get tall clothes from other places so I am closing my account.

Extremely disappointed!! Never got product!

I ordered 3 pairs of dress pants and a shirt from their end of the year sale on December 29th. It’s February 8th and STILL haven’t gotten it!! No email or anything so I finally got ahold of them 2 weeks ago and the customer service rep said they were moving warehouses so all orders were being stopped but mine should have shipped a long time ago and he doesn’t know why it didn’t. I’m extremely tall and need these pants so bad for work. Otherwise I would have canceled my whole order by now! Still continue to wait! No offer of some of my money back or a gift card or anything! I’m not happy at all and there’s been absolutely NO communication about it! Alloy you have got to do better! I work in retail and I’m a leader and I never would have done this to a customer!!

They refunded my entire order and 2/3…

They refunded my entire order and 2/3 of another order for being "out of stock" and unable to deliver (because they mismarked my package and sent it to the wrong address). 9 total pairs of pants were refunded and customer service was absolutely terrible. No notifications- just that I was refunded.

I placed an order on the 27th of may…

I placed an order on the 27th of may and it took them 10 days to ship this order. I don't even want the items anymore. That would mean that it will take nearly a month to receive the items, if it indeed takes another 10 to 14 business days from the shipping date to be received. I could have ordered something from China and still receive it in a timely manner. There is no earthly reason that a business in the United States should take that long to send out a pair of pants. I havent received the clothes yet, but I will never order from them again. This just feels too wrong.

I wish I could give them zero stars
I wish I could give them zero stars. There is nothing good about this company it is a scam and they are liars. The clothes are cheap and they fit horribly. Do not use their return label pay for your own or your package will mysteriously get lost. I have been trying to get my money back for a month now. First they said they had the package, then they tell me they don’t. I hope they close this piece of crap business down. People work hard for their money and you guys steal it. I will keep to the bigger chains where this has never happened to me. Alloy has is a horrible on line fake store. Be warned, I wish I would have looked up the reviews like I usually do before ordering. Lesson learned.

I don't understand the bad reviews from…

I don't understand the bad reviews from this company. In my experience, they are outstanding!
I am 6'1" (size 10) and get all of my pants from this company. In my case, excellent quality and perfect fit. The only thing that I have never had an experience with is making a return. Also, the shipping usually takes about 4-5 days to Ohio.

Gift Cards

I have been trying to use a gift card for about 18 months. I have tried calling but am told the gift card system is down, which is the same message the checkout gives. I have tried multiple times to get my money back, or just place an order! I have had great service prior to trying to use a gift card, but this is my money, I should be able to use it!

HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

They will not respond to your emails and they will not answer their phone!!! But they have no problem taking your money!!!! Do yourself a favor and make a purchase somewhere else!!! Complete douche bags!!!!!!

Worst Customer Service

I've been an avid customer of Alloy for years. They have always lacked in any sort of customer service when returning or exchanging any kind of merchandise. There is a clear gap in communications between departments. The most recent adventure for me was when I returned a pair of jeans for an exchange plus an order of a second pair. They received the return but when it came time to process the order there was either a missing digit in my cc# or malfunction on their part. Instead of calling me since there was a number given, they let it sit and sit and sit. Starting to become irritated since my order status said "To be picked," I emailed customer service. It went down hill from here. Three different people started emailing and none of them were on the same page. Once one said that my card had been declined, I responded with a "please just refund my original order." Not only did this conversation last for many emails, they still didn't understand the "Please just refund my original order." When I broke down my request to child like words, I was sent an email with a much smaller amount refund quoted. I then find out the gauge me for send back their poor merchandise. For the Love of God PLEASE TAKE A FEW HOURS AND TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible in late 2015

Used to be a good company but now it is in the toilet. Made a purchase August 23rd and have yet to receive it. Sent two emails, nothing. Called and got the run around then was told computer not working, asked to be transferred to another person and was told not possible. I told them to cancel my order. I use PayPal and this is a lifesaver because my order is not paid until order has been received.

NO GOOD SERVICE ,THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS

i ordered some clothes and returned them because they didn't fit...i wanted to exchange them because i already paid for 2nd day shipping and shipping to return them,it took them weeks to have the transaction shown in their system so i canceled the order and did a new one, likewise they took the money from my account asap but my refund from my first order is yet to come it has been three weeks ...one customer service told me they would have the money credited to my card the other said it was by mail..it is confusing and ridiculous how fast you guys can take our money but will not return it ...i have filled a complaint
