The order was marked as âdeliveredâ in the system, but I did not receive the package.
There was no OTP verification, no delivery time confirmation, and no photo proof provided. The delivery was reportedly completed at a late-night hour, which is not practical, as no one would have been available to receive the package at that time.
I live at a verified and correct address, and I have successfully received other orders at the same location without any issues. This clearly indicates that the problem is not with my address, but with the delivery process.
I raised the complaint on the same day, and initially, the support team informed me that a refund would be processed. However, despite waiting for 24â48 hours as advised, I have not received any proper response or resolution from the concerned team.
As a regular customer, this experience is disappointing. The lack of proper delivery verification (such as OTP or photo proof) and the delay in resolving genuine complaints raise serious concerns about the reliability of the delivery system.
I request Amazon to:
Ensure proper delivery verification methods
Take accountability for such delivery discrepancies
Improve response time for genuine customer issues
If such issues are not addressed properly, it affects customer trust significantly.

Scam 1: Delivery Failure and Prime Subscription Promotion
Following a missed call and three unacknowledged delivery attempts, a delivery agent initiated the return of my order rather than attempting redelivery or rescheduling. There was no direct communication provided beyond the initial missed call. Customer support initially confirmed redelivery for the subsequent day, as my inquiry was placed within two hours of the return request. However, on the following day, contrary to the previous assurance, I was informed that the item had already been returned to the seller, precluding any further intervention.
Consequently, I proceeded to reorder the item immediately. During the checkout process, an Amazon Prime shipping option offered two-day delivery, whereas standard delivery was estimated to take an additional five to six days. I elected for the Prime option, and my reordered items are now being delivered promptly. This situation prompts speculation as to whether such tactics are designed to incentivize Prime membership acquisitions, particularly considering that the original items were likely at the same delivery station and could have been delivered with similar expediency, irrespective of membership status.
Scam 2: "Pay on Delivery" Irregularities
An additional charge is applied for "pay on delivery" services. Delivery agents consistently decline split payments (cash and UPI), citing a policy that mandates a single payment method. This practice is perplexing, given the supplementary fee for the service and the customer's prerogative to select payment methods. Furthermore, while I routinely utilize Amazon Pay for transactions and receive refunds from Zomato and Swiggy, Amazon's own delivery partners are reportedly unable to process comparable transactions on the same account, which appears inconsistent.
Pathetic Products (used product received), with no proper return option available, and worst delivery service amongst all the ecommerce website.
Extremely disappointing experience with Amazon. One of my recent orders was already mishandled by the delivery associate (I had to travel 5 km to collect it myself), and now another order is stuck in Guwahati for the last 3â4 days without any movement.
This is unacceptable because delivery from Guwahati to my location normally takes hardly 1 day. There is no valid reason for such delays, and it clearly shows poor logistics management.
Even worse, there is no proper option to cancel delayed orders, forcing customers to wait endlessly for items they no longer need.
On top of that, the previous product I received was used and did not match the listing, and I was asked to go to the post office myself for return.
Overall, this reflects a serious decline in service quality, delivery standards, and customer support. Completely unreliable and frustrating experience. Strongly not recommended.
The pickup boys run the show in Amazon
The pickup and delivery boys run the show in Amazon. They decide the success/failure of a sale transaction. Only if they decide, a seller can sell a product in Amazon. I am a seller and I have received many orders online. I pack the products, book a pickup schedule and wait for the pickup boy to pickup the product. 9 out of 10 product are not picked up by them. Amazon shares the contact of the pickup boys but they never attend the call. By accident of they pickup then they say it was scheduled to someone else. That someone never turn-up. Moreover they handle the product very carelessly. Eventually breaking the product so that it gets returned.
It is high time Amazon does something about the above issues.

âWhen I called customer support to ask for proof or a list of these alleged cancellations, they admitted they couldn't even see that information on their end. They directed me to the "OFM" team, claiming only they have the power to handle account blocks. I have sent multiple emails to the OFM team with no response.
âIt is unacceptable for a multi-billion dollar company to "judge and jury" a loyal customer without providing evidence or a way to speak to a real person. If you value your account and your time, be careful. Amazonâs internal system is flawed, and their support is powerless to fix their own mistakes.

Recenrly, Amazon has been the worst on line platform. I purchased so many items before from Amazon and it used to refund or replace the bad quality product. But now please be very careful as Amazon sells very low quality product in the names of reputed brands and it cheats the customers by denying any refund. Even when the package gets damaged in transit and the product spills out, but Amazon refuses to refund.

Wrong claim about Attempted Delivery and unjustified delay of delivery
My following order(Tracking ID: 367832481095) was due on 14 March. Amazon made false claim of attempted delivery as I was at the address for entire day. I am regularly on the address after that.
Tracking system indicates contact Amazon as delivery is delayed, however, customer care is dealt by AI generated bot or answering machine. I tried every possible way to contact Amazon. My emails are unanswered. AI bot and answering machine give misleading suggestions and information.
It is a frustrating and disheartening experience for me. All write a review on Amazon platform are for the product and I don't want to spoil reviews of the product.
False promises over and over again
Amazon.in have a habit of either lying or making false promises. Iâve had such bad experiences with their customer service lately. When I question them they say: âOh sorry, that was wrong information.â even if they put something in writing. In another country they could be sued for this.

I've had the worst experience with Amazon Customer Support today. It was regarding a delivery of products that did not arrive. The first agent Sandeep who I spoke to said there was no way to contact the delivery agent (because they don't give their numbers anymore) was super unhelpful and he went on to say that the courier guy has not left his number with us. We cannot do anything. Hopefully the delivery comes in later tonight, we wait and watch. And that they furthermore do not take any complaints or raise any tickets for delivery related issues. After having a long argument about this with him, the unfairness of not being able to contact the delivery person (via Amazon call centres), or not getting anyone from the support team to circle back and check with me. I had to really push for escalation - because almost all of Sandeep's replies were unhelpful. In today's day and time if a giant like Amazon cannot control the warehouse processes and maintain a simple way of contacting their delivery agents on the ground, the joke is on them. Because even apps like BB and Uber have managed to crack this. As a Prime Customer I am expected to take my membership on-time, pay for the product upfront, but when it comes to delivery I do not want to hear 'let's wait, hopefully it will come'. The call with the escalation team Mr. Harmanpreet was even more unhelpful, because he took on a slightly condescending tone with me, which really pissed me off. He mentioned that he would be happy to give me a ticket / complaint number, I do not need to justify myself for it. And went on to lay out Amazon's policy of not giving out the customers number to delivery guys ... at which point I had to interrupt once more and tell them that all these calls care possible via call support centres today, there is enough technology today that numbers do not need to be exchanged .... And then the call went blank, no response, no voice, nothing. I had mentioned this to the customer support agent that in case of a call drop there should always be a call back from their end. But I guess they had no more help to offer, and simply did not bother to call back.Â
I usually never do feedback like this. I rely on calls being recorded But the irritation on the part of the first agent. He constant denial of not being able to raise any complaints. Then putting me through an even more condescending senior agent from the escalation team ... just ensured that some written feedback was needed.Â
The worst customer support ever
The worst customer support ever. If you want to experience it, just chat with Amazon customer service. These people will terminate the conversation in between and simply leave. Amazon should be ashamed of this kind of service. It would be better to close customer support altogether rather than having such useless support staff.
Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I ordered this product for my family and already made the payment online. However, when the delivery person came, he asked my sister to pay again and took â¹1049 from her even though the order was already prepaid.
After that, the delivery person stopped responding and even blocked our number. I contacted Amazon customer service and explained everything, but unfortunately nothing was done to resolve the issue.
This is very unprofessional and disappointing.
