Worst service
For the past 3 days, I have been receiving messages stating that delivery was âattempted but no response from customer,â which is completely false. I was available at the delivery address at all times, and no one contacted me.
Today, I received a call from the delivery executive, but the call got disconnected within 5 seconds. Immediately after that, I received another message again stating that delivery was attempted but there was no response from my side.
I tried calling the delivery executive multiple times, but my calls were repeatedly rejected. When I called from another number, he answered and informed me that the âquality of the material is badâ and that he is returning it to the supplier. This is completely unacceptable, as it is not the delivery personâs responsibility to decide whether to deliver the product or not.
I even informed him that I am willing to come and collect the parcel directly from the warehouse, but he refused and stated that since it has already been 3 days, the item must be returned today.
When I requested him to deliver the package, he disconnected the call and blocked my number. On calling again from a different number, he behaved in a highly unprofessional manner, used abusive language, and even threatened me.
Due to this extremely poor experience, I am now cancelling my other pending orders from Amazon as well.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable.

Amazon India support keeps blindly repeating the same responses, from junior executives to senior ones, without actually understanding the customer's issue. The third-party (Delhivery) tracking ID for my order (35899362118953) clearly shows that the delivery was cancelled by the seller. This is visible to anyone, yet they are completely ignoring this and keep repeating backup dates and statuses that I can already see in the app myself.
It feels like they are just repeating scripted lines without applying any thought or making any effort to investigate the actual problem.
There is no urgency from either junior or senior executives to contact the seller or provide any real update. My money is stuck, and the emotional disappointment of eagerly waiting for something and not receiving it on a birthday is beyond the understanding of these unresponsive representatives.

Amazon India is not about providing convenience or providing a great price to the customer anymore but now geared to fool and cheat the customer while creating such policies that the customer cannot apply for any return as they now ask you to ship the return yourself ! So , they can say that the bad quality product or electronic that you bought at a seemingly great price never reaches them back or never reaches in a good shape as 100s of customer have started reporting and none of their returns are being refunded. I think , trustpilot should just create a dedicated website for Amazon India as they are nothing but cheats hiding behingba thick veil of policies that we agreed to while buying their listed products. Also. There is no convenience of returning a wrong size Amazon product. I ordered a king size mattress and realized later that there were 2 king size options mentioned and I got the smaller one. When I asked for a replacement on the delivery date itself , I was denied . In another instance , i was delivered a fake Apple Watch when I paid for a real one and it took me several weeks to return it. Lately , i ordered a car junpstarter and was surprised that upon asking for a return and refund , I was told that , I would have to ship it myself ? !!!! Well, if they could deliver it then why not accept returns. I think Amazon India will fall and quite miserably. With the new India Country head, it knows how to play very very smart as Zepto and blinkit are scewing them and like how ! Shame on you Amazon India
Refund not initiated and delayed
The complaint here of the customer is soo true and genuine and so much relatable, delayed refund rude delivery agent. Even after complaint so many times about delivery agent same person comes and disrespects, and the refund appear so late and sometime no refunds appears even after the product is picked up after proper image verification.
Since 2014 I am a customer of Amazon even a prime member to but Amazon is becoming worst for their customers, seriously stopped trusting it and I think should stop buying too.

I live in the UK and bought 4 items to be delivered to an address in India for the valentine week. 3 items arrived well in time but the 4th one, the most important ring was not received at the destination. On checking the system it says-delivered on 10th February,26. When speaking to customer services, they refused to accept the complaint, and kept on repeating that it was an OTP based delivery, and they can not make a refund, or even try locating this delivery. Tried to speak to a senior staff, explaining again that we neither received the OTP, nor the item. it was the same answer. I feel it extremely sad that a system error has undermined a human complaint, and Amazon India does not rely on customer's words but on its own faulty system. How pathetic!! I have lost my money , but more importantly the trust on this mega industry giant.

I never thought Iâd have to write something like this, but my recent experience with Amazon.in has been absolutely horrible and deeply disappointing.
On 15th October, I placed an order for:
AGARO Majestic OTG Oven 17L â ordered specifically because we had invited friends and family over for dinner.
FURBO Eye Sleeping Mask (Pure Mulberry Silk â Blue) â meant as a Christmas gift for my wife.
Eye Mask â Wrong item & false delivery updates
I received the eye mask on 17th December, but the colour was incorrect. Amazon accepted that it was their mistake and promised a replacement by 21st December.
On 21st December:
I waited the entire day
No delivery agent came
No phone call was received
Yet I got an automated call from Amazon asking why I rejected the delivery, which is completely false. The product was never even attempted to be delivered, and it was wrongly marked as âcustomer rejectedâ.
I called Amazon customer care:
They promised delivery by 22nd December, 11 AM
Nothing happened
When I called again, they said they donât know where the product is and asked me to wait 2 more days
So much for reliability and accountability.
OTG Oven â Defective product & forced refund
When the AGARO OTG Oven was delivered, it was defective. The oven door was not working.
I immediately requested a replacement, which was shown as available in the Amazon app. However:
The replacement request failed
Customer care told me the product was âout of stockâ
I was forced into a return & refund, even though I clearly said I wanted a replacement
I had no choice and agreed to return the defective oven. It was picked up on 21st December.
Refund chaos & misinformation
Since the oven was urgently needed for our planned dinner, I requested an immediate refund so I could reorder the item. According to the app, if ordered again on 21st December, delivery would be 25th December â already too late for our family dinner.
Customer care:
Argued repeatedly
Hid behind âterms and conditionsâ
Finally agreed verbally that the refund would be processed by 22nd December afternoon
When I called again to confirm:
I was told the previous agent gave wrong information
Now the refund will take up to 13 days
So not only was I sold a defective product, I was misinformed, forced into a refund, and then lied to about refund timelines.
Final outcome
Our family & friends dinner was completely ruined
My wifeâs Christmas gift is still unresolved
Countless hours wasted talking to customer care
Zero accountability, zero ownership, zero empathy
This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had with any e-commerce platform. Amazon.inâs customer care is unreliable, uncoordinated, and misleading.
I am posting this publicly so others are aware that Amazon.in cannot be trusted during important occasions, and their customer care promises mean absolutely nothing.

I've dealt with Amazon for a long time. But as of recently, not only is the customer service now the worst, they're now based out of some call center in India, so the whole thing is pointless. They don't know what they're doing or remotely know their job. It's been over a week now and I can't seem to get a simple return and refund. This is the most frustrating delivery experience I've ever had. My order has been canceled multiple times because the delivery agent isn't delivering it to my doorstep. When I contact customer service, they only make empty promises to resolve the issue.
The biggest problem is the complete lack of transparency and action. There is no acknowledgment or memo after I raise a complaint about a specific delivery agent. They keep repeating the same mistake, and it feels like a never-ending cycle. Every time the order is canceled, I have to reorder the product, only to have the same thing happen again. It's a complete waste of time and energy, and it's clear that no accountability measures are being taken to fix the core problem. The company only promises to "get it done" without ever actually doing so. This is a severe failure in service.

Disappointed by Amazonâs Unfair Return Process and Poor Support
I placed an order on Amazon India (Order ID: 402-5423599-4205911) and found that one item was missing from the delivery. I followed the return process as advised and was told to ship the item back on my own.
I used DTDC courier on 26th June, and the product was successfully delivered to the seller on 30th June (as per tracking). But when I spoke to Amazon support on 26th July, they shockingly told me the courier receipt is not valid, and hence, they won't issue the refund.
This is completely unjustified. The product has reached the seller, I shared the courier details, and yet, instead of resolving the issue, theyâre trying to shift the blame on the customer.
Even worse â the Amazon representative ended the call abruptly while I was still talking, which is absolutely unacceptable.
This whole experience makes me question Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction. Itâs frustrating to see how genuine customers are made to run in circles even when everything has been done right from our side.
I sincerely hope Amazon looks into such cases seriously and improves its customer service standards.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Amazon. I had ordered 2 bottles of Kaminomoto Hair Serum, a premium and expensive product that I trust and use regularly. I paid for both bottles, but to my shock, only ONE was delivered.
Due to being abroad in Maldives during the delivery, I could not raise the issue immediately. But as soon as I returned and contacted Amazon support, they simply refused to help, stating they canât take any action now. Seriously? This is completely unacceptable.
Just because I couldnât contact immediately due to being overseas doesnât mean I should be cheated out of my money. There is a clear mismatch between what was ordered and what was delivered â and Amazon expects customers to suffer for their mistakes.
This is a basic responsibility failure from Amazonâs end â how hard is it to check if the order was fulfilled properly? Itâs not about the money alone â itâs about trust. And Amazon clearly doesnât care about it anymore.
I demand either a refund for the missing item or a fresh delivery of 1 bottle of Kaminomoto Hair Serum at the earliest.

Unprofessional, unethical, inconsistent and impolite CS behaviour. A product bought (Order number 403-3888158-7340363) from Amazon where warranty is refused not honoured. On a chat on 14th, 24hour replacement is committed by amazon CS and on 15th Jul, another Amazon CS denied while checking for the update.
