SCAM ARTISTS, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. STOLE €400 from us and never even attempted to pretend to be real. We were told to meet at Sagrada at 9:15am, tour guide never showed up or even attempt to contact us. When calling they kept saying “oh we looked for you” even though the lady at the information center said they always have the same issue with this company

⭐ **1 STAR – AVOID THIS TOUR OPERATOR**

We booked the **VIP Chichén Itzá tour specifically because it included hotel pick-up**, and before paying we checked that our hotel was within the advertised free pick-up area.

The terms and conditions clearly state that an additional fee may apply **if the hotel has difficult access**. Our hotel does not.

Within minutes of booking, the tour operator contacted us demanding an **extra payment**, claiming our hotel was “too far away.” When I pointed out their own T&Cs, they responded by quoting them back to me while **conveniently cutting out the part that says the additional charge applies when a hotel has difficult access**.

That was enough for us. We cancelled immediately.

Even more disappointing was **GetYourGuide support**. Instead of actually checking the advertised pick-up conditions and the wording of the T&Cs, the agent simply defended the tour operator. It genuinely felt as though she hadn't even bothered to read what I was pointing out.

If you advertise **free hotel pick-up**, confirm an area is included, and then demand more money immediately after somebody pays, that is extremely misleading.

**Cancelled and booked elsewhere. In my opinion, this felt like a bait-and-switch. Avoid.**

ESTAFADORES. Vinimos al museo de Frida Khalo en cuidad de México y las entradas que nos enviaron de “Amigo Tours” eran entradas que ya les habían enviado a alguien más. No se hacen responsables, no devuelven el dinero, no contestan las llamadas, no contestan los mensajes. Fue un robo total, hubimos alrededor de 10 personas con el mismo problema

I strongly advise against booking any trip with Amigo.
Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The company changed the advertised bus transportation to a train without providing a proper explanation. Instead of a comfortable bus ride, we had to travel on a crowded train with very limited space because of the number of passengers and their luggage.
After arriving in Prague, our guide, Luis, encouraged us to continue sightseeing and recommended a restaurant that was far from the meeting point. We followed his advice, but there was a long queue at the restaurant, which delayed us. He then insisted that we take an Uber back, saying it would be quicker, but it actually took longer than walking.
The most unacceptable part of the trip was what happened next. The guide left Prague and returned to Berlin without us, even though he knew we were tourists, unfamiliar with the city, and did not speak the local language. The company sent us train tickets and assured us they would be valid for our return journey. They were not. We were forced to purchase new tickets at our own expense, in addition to paying for the unnecessary Uber ride.
As a result, we didn't return to our hotel until after midnight. Throughout this ordeal, the company never contacted us to check whether we had made it back safely or to offer any assistance.
What should have been an enjoyable day trip turned into a stressful 16-hour ordeal caused by poor organization, misleading information, and a lack of customer care. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company and would encourage others to look for a more reliable tour operator.

Ho prenotato una visita guidata (con audioguida, con un gentile accompagnatore a portarci all'interno) al Parlamento e all'abbazia di Westminster. L'ora indicatami sulla prenotazione era sbagliata - l'appuntamento era un'ora dopo - ma... quel giorno l'Abbazia era chiusa e quindi non abbiamo potuto visitarla. Ho scritto ad Amigo relazionando l'accaduto e chiedendo il rimborso dei biglietti dell'Abbazia, ma finora non ho avuto risposta

Impresionante!! El mejor sitio para programar tu viaje, tienen viajes muy variados llevados a cabo por excelentes profesionales que se preocupan en todo momento por hacer de tu experiencia algo inolvidable. Siempre elijo amigo tours como compañero de viajes, ya que son capaces de cumplimentar tu viaje soñado con la experiencia de los guías más apasionados por su trabajo. Sin duda os elegiría una y mil veces más, enhorabuena por llevar al turismo a ser el sector estrella de nuestro pais y convertir a los que os elegimos, en apasionados del sitio visitado, con esa manera de involucrarnos en la visita. Me encantó la experiencia de hacer el tour del Alcázar de Sevilla con Amigo Tours. El guía Héctor fue muy amable y tiene un conocimiento muy amplio sobre el lugar!! Recomiendo 100% sus tours.

Ich habe über booking.com eine Besichtigung der Sagrada Familia in Barcelona gebucht. Veranstalter sollte amigo tours sein. Die Buchung wurde schon mehrere Monate vor der Besichtigung gebucht, durch den Veranstalter bestätigt und durch mich bezahlt.
Zwei Tage vor der Besichtigung habe ich eine Mail von amigo tours erhalten, in der die Zeit von 9.30 Uhr auf 15.30 Uhr verlegt wurde. Da ich im Rahmen einer Kreuzfahrt in Barcelona war, konnte ich den neuen Termin nicht wahrnehmen, da ich ansonsten die Abfahrt meines Kreuzfahrtschiffes verpasst hätte.
Eine sofortige Beschwerde per E-Mail brachte gar nicht, weder amigo tours noch booking.com wollten mir helfen. Also konnte ich die geplante Besichtigung nicht durchführen, da so kurzfristig natürlich keine Tickets mehr verfügbar waren.
Danke für nichts.

I booked this tour solely because it included access to the Sagrada Família towers. Since all other providers offering tower access were already sold out, I deliberately chose this much more expensive tour and paid over €109.
Just two days before the tour, I was informed that the tower access had been cancelled – even though this was the main reason I booked this tour in the first place.
As compensation, I was offered only €10. I do not consider this to be fair or reasonable. At the meeting point, we were told that we could try to buy tower tickets ourselves. However, as expected, they were already completely sold out. That was exactly why I had booked this more expensive tour in advance.
After this experience, I have unfortunately lost my trust in both Amigo Tours and Booking.com as the booking platform. As a customer, I expected a fair and customer-oriented solution when such an important part of the booked experience was cancelled at such short notice.
The biggest lesson I learned from this experience is to book important attractions separately and directly with the official provider whenever possible, instead of relying on combined tour packages.
Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing, and I cannot recommend this tour under these circumstances.

Excelente experiencia y muy buena atención de la agencia, en general muy buen servicio y gran experiencia en la rueda Cancún una maravilla, además nos incluyeron museo de Ripley y museo de cera

Ha sido una muy buena experiencia, el tour es increíble porque pude conocer varios lugares y con una muy buena explicación.
Vale lo cuesta y sin duda lo voy a recomendar.

If I I could give zero stars I would. This company is a total scam. I bought my ticket 3 weeks in advanced to visit the sacred family church with tower access in Barcelona..they sent me confirmations and everything else.
2 days prior to arrival to Barcelona they emailed me saying they had a “logistical
Issue” and they cancelled my ticket. Did not offer me a suitable alternative. Do not waste your time and avoid this company at all costs.

Contraté un tour al Museo del Prado en Madrid, cancelaron la actividad por "problemas logístico" el día anterior y no devuelve el monto pagado. He enviado correos y WhatsApp y no responden. Cero confianza esta agencia de turismo.

Do not use this company to purchase anything! They work with the Headout app. I purchased 7 tickets to Teotihuacan, México which were never received, they claim to have sent the tickets but only produced a barcode which was not recognized at the site when we arrived. We had to repurchase the tickets and were scammed by these people for over $200; Please do yourself a favor and buy your tickets on site, avoid these online scammers.

Update response to Amigo Tours 8/11/26 - The trusted channels is to purchase tickets onsite! I have emails w you all, you have to go there and buy them directly, your company sent me a fake barcode that didn’t work!

Very easy to work with, professional and trustworthy. Was in Barcelona to do the Sagrada Familia tour. Our guide was courteous, inclusive and did well educating everyone on the details of the Sagrada Familia. There was a protest that day so we could not go inside unfortunately. Amigo Tours made sure we all got a refund. Very professional and respectful. Would use them again.

We were on our way from Cadiz to Seville to meet our tour guide (1.5 hour drive) when they sent us an email cancelling our tour. Total scam. We paid everything in advance along with “skip the line” tickets. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are the worst. Ruined our entire say.
